I've just voted the pull "what are you watching tonight" (obviously i vote BATB even if I could not watch it live) and I notice that a lot of people from USA has written in their comments that they will watch other show coz they have already seen BATB (not in a legal way I suppose)... an evidence that the CW wasn't in its right mind when gave the possibility to air the episode 4 days before to Showcase... everything CW did, does, and will do seems against BATB :-(

No one felt it appropriate to ask permission to share Amanda's personal photos which she graciously allowed access to? That's very bad form!

Please, I do not have a Twitter acount, so tell me if Austin Basis is still talking with fans. And someone could tell me if the cast is already back in filming season 4? Yes, and, yes! They started filming S4 in May and are scheduled to finish in November. Yay!! I'm so glad we have another 13 episodes to look forward to.

ArwenFan that's my big question too regarding VinCat: why can't the writers come up with some intense scenes between our lovers? And to be clear, I'm not talking about love scenes, but just about the longing looks and the passionate kisses. Nowadays they look like an old married couple at best, but where's the epic romance between the beauty and the beast? Season 3 leaves me mostly frustrated: so much potential wasted imo. But am I going to give up on BATB? Absolutely not. Even if I'm not an active member on the boards, I'm here until the end! mus1c, you're a true member of the DEN and you rock!!! Hang on and ROAR with us!!! Our destiny is approaching!!! In the US our path continues tonight at 8:00 Eastern and 7:00 Central! So if you can, watch with us and come to the forum afterward to tell us what you thought of the episode. See you then! Aw thanks ArwenFan! But it needs to be said that you all rock, this forum is such a nice place I am an early viewer so I wrote a little bit about the episode in this thread: saveeachother.proboards.com/thread/995/unbreakable-canadian-early-viewers-thread?page=2 but I'll definitely stop by the "US thread" to read your comments

I may or may not find Basis's self promote way bit too narcistic for my liking. Please this show wasnt supposed to be about JT! & now hes the star, second only to the Beast himself. Can you say some serious gender preference issue is going on behind the scene?

for those not on Twitter wondering about cast interactions with the role players: The role players probably deserve a thread dedicated just for them. There's some really entertaining tweets out there. Some times I enjoy their interactions even more than watching some parts of the show.

Pippin,
This is one of those cases of revisionist BATB history that I refer to. In the Pilot episode, the nurse at the hospital that Cat and Tess interview say that Vincent never came back to work after September 11, 2001. And Cat says that he must have enlisted right then. Vincent later talks about having been shot at least once (in Cat's apartment after she has returned home and is attempting to exercise) as part of one of his tours of duty after Cat got shot in "Bridesmaid Up!" So if Vincent initially enlisted in September or October 2001, he COULD have been in the army for about two years, if you consider that the bar scene where he saves Cat happened in cold weather, which arguably is October in NY. HOWEVER, Vincent said (or at least implied in 216 about his life before Cat and not returning to how he lived then as well as his similar mentions in Season 3 about the same) he had time to get back from Afghanistan and track and pursue Muirfield, so your 8 months sounds far more accurate.
I just figured that the Afghanistan Muirfield took place on a later tour of duty (in fact, the last tour of duty he had). BATB is always fudging on those dates. In fact, we really don't even know Vincent's actual age. His brothers' dates of birth are on their tombstones, and I believe the oldest was born in 1971. Since the next brother was born around 1973, then Vincent would have been born around 1975 or 1976. Which makes his comment in "Held Hostage" about the 30's being better than the 40's, at least for some people, make sense, as he had already LIVED through his 30's and was in hiding for most of them! We know Cat was born in late 1984 due to her being 19 in 2003, according to the original description for BATB. So Vincent is at least 8 years older than Cat. (But I still don't see how he made it through 7 years of med school after 4 years of college AND had time for a brief fireman career as well, ALL before joining the army in 2001 and is still only 40 or close to it, given he was in hiding from 2003 forwards.)
So the full timeline on Vincent never has truly made sense. "Specialist" is what you see on the tags, etc. in Season 1. But the Special Forces was mentioned in Season 2. Vincent HAS been fuzzy with his memories, having repressed stuff from his time in Afghanistan BEFORE Bob ever got his hands on him.
I wish the writers would produce a year by year timeline of Vincent, his rank and army time, time spent pursuing/tracking Muirfield and the like. (Even give us details about all the years in hiding.) Given the lack of screentime left, however, Season 4 is not likely to do this.
BUT, I am looking forward to Season 4 giving us more backstory regarding Vincent and his army career. We'll see then how history has been revised yet again! At least they can legitimately blame SOME things on "memory" issues for Vincent! Vincent THINKS he has all of his memories back, but HOW would he know? What if lingering programming still exists? And did Vanessa do something to Vincent to make him forget his memories, especially of her, until he "fugued out" in Season 1?
Sigh. It is probably better NOT to ask history-related questions regarding BATB. But I can't help myself!

And did Vanessa do something to Vincent to make him forget his memories, especially of her, until he "fugued out" in Season 1? Sigh. It is probably better NOT to ask history-related questions regarding BATB. But I can't help myself! I always thought he was only in the army for 8 months because in Proceed with Caution, when Cat is running the facial recognition on V's army buddies and looking up their information, it says that V was killed in action on June 14, 2002. You can't see the year on the other guys but you can see June or June 14, so I always assumed that was close to the date that Operation Muirfield was ended and the test subjects exterminated. Based on what the nurse and Vincent said in the Pilot, I had imagined that V was so enraged by his brothers' deaths, that he took off and enlisted the next day. Army basic training is 10 week, so it wouldn't have been until end of November 2001 that he would have been ready for some action. Once he got over there, Muirfield got a hold of him, he somehow got shot twice and by mid-June 2002 he was "dead." Somehow he gets back to the states and by fall 2003, he is outside the bar saving Cat. In my version of the story, Vanessa tranqued him after he saved her from the Col. and told the Muirfield guys that she had taken care of Vincent. Then she enlisted Bob to help her sneak him out of the country but V wakes up, Bob loses track of him, and V ends up on some shipping container headed for the west coast of the US. V is in a dazed and confused state during this time, living like an animal, but something keeps drawing him east across the country and that's why he was in the woods that night cuz he was heading to Vanessa. In the meantime, Muirfield had discovered that Vanessa had lied to them about Keller and been undermining their project so they decided to get rid of her. When Vincent saved Cat and he felt that connection to another human, he woke up from his animalistic state and sought out JT in NYC.
