Don't like Cat saying: the less beast, the less Vincent and the expression on her face when saying it.
LOve Cats expression when the phone rings and she doesn't has to answer the key question - I see relief.
Dont' like V dismissing JT when he wanted to defend V and JT leaving with his head bowed.
Don't like Sam referring to V as Vinnie!

CAT lost herself when she was with Vincent. At least with poor Gabe, she was allowed to have beast free storyline for a litte while, and that was something that her fans would cheer for. And now she might just back to use Vincent way where criminals should just be kill, kill, and kill in cold blood instead of bring them to face law and justice. God. #HeforShe #LawOverMurders I would have to disagree with you, once again, I mean, what's new, and say that Cat is more buried in a beast storyline than ever when she is with Gabe; he may have lost the exterior beast when he dies at the end of season 1 and is brought back to life by Cat, the height of irony,....but the beast was very much alive inside, and slowly but surely consumed him as S2 unfolded. Luckily Cat freed herself from his unhealthy hold in time. I cannot believe that her fans would cheer for her being in a relationship with a true monster. I am sorry to be so repetitive, but there can be NO beast free storyline in a show called Beauty and the Beast....it always mystifies me that anyone would want a beast free storyline.....but that's just me.....I am sure no one here would advocate for a beauty free storyline. Of course, I could be wrong; I often am!

V: Screw you Gabe! Great! Love the pool table convo. JT: just be yourself, both selfs. You shouldn't ignore your other half. So your not perfect - what's more human than that! Charging you for them . What do you want? JT is such a good friend! He always says the right things. Great lines! Yeah what a pity the car accident scene was so dark! Smart Cat right befor the accident. Cat: to close - Freud speaking?! Love the argument in the car wreck:V: "why is this my fault" and how he is saying it. Love love love VinCat arguing like that - hope I will get more of this in S3! Cats moaning and sighing while on the phone with Gabe Gabe: I already checked - it's nothing! Yeah just a CIA bunker! Gabe your not so smart at all!

Love V not giving up doing CPR on Xavier, even when Cat interferes, but as soon as Xavier breaths he's turning to Cat: are you OK? And Cat going into the hug with V! V seems a little surprised to me by that.
HATE Gabe pushing Cat! I need you to tell Vincent that - and Cat so submissive!
Again great convo V and JT: you saved him by using both sides not just your human side and not by trying to impress Cat either. Score one for the good guys!
Boathouse: why is V so eager to close his bathrobe? Think Cat knows what's underneath. And maybe that's a pro for Vincent :hehe:too. The looks of both just befor the kiss and V just can't help himself and going for a kiss. Then when Cats pulling back the expression on his face. When Cat finally goes for the kiss again we don't see his face but his body language says it all: joy, relief, finally getting what he wants.

Again thanks for your rewatches. I enjoy reading them a lot.
I'm wondering whether the writers, producers and even the actors are aware of all the things we see in the scenes, lines, expressions, body language and we read into it. Wondering how much of it is intentional And how much accidental. Would love to know that!

As with every rewatch, I thoroughly enjoyed reading all you have to say; my "like" button is temperamental and not collaborating with me at the moment....and there is so much to like and love in all that you have shared. Thank you all!!!!

Of course, I could be wrong; I often am!believe me dear it isn't just you ! and i doubt that you are wrong ! yes in a show called (Beauty and the Beast ) there would never be a beast free storyline nor a beauty free storyline for any character ! Cat and Vincent are one united being ! its their story together ! their paths and their destiny are connected together forever ! everything concerning one of them obviously and necessary concerned the other too ! that the way the real relationships work in the real world ! and if both of them have different , separated paths. life and storyline -- then there won't be a story to tell or a show to watch in the first place ! sometime i think some people forget that this is one show about a love story ? love stories always have 2 partners connected in one storyline ! sometime i also think some people forget what the meaning of a ( love story ) ! this isn't 2 shows , one for Cat and one for Vincent ? and it isn't some kind of documentary for some people who have different separated life and storyline So there was no way in hell they wrote those triangles in a different way or made gabrine / toricent or any other than vincat a real thing or a thing could work out or last till the end of the show ! because then there would be no point from the whole show and they should just change its name ! again that is : THE BEAUTY AND HER BEAST EPIC LOVE STORY
! if you want them to have separated storyline you just have to wait till(BATB) ends and both KK&JR have their new separated series !

I will say that I LOVED the little touches in this episode, because there were so many. (And to the viewer that said that you can't believe you haven't been institutionalized for the many times you have viewed this episode, you would have to add ME to that club as well.) I see something NEW each time I view this episode!
One of the "little touches" IS the fact that Vincent closes his robe when Cat comes in alone at the end of the episode. This is another instance of Vincent NOT trying to manipulate Cat the way Gabe does. Vincent could entice Catherine with his body, but he chooses NOT to try to win her this way. He is TRYING to accept Cat's BOUNDARIES, something that Gabe is not capable of doing.
And I will say, it has FINALLY taken this last re-watch for me to come to terms with the last scene's moment and whether or not it is cheating. Gabe has done EVERYTHING to eliminate Vincent from Cat's life and manipulate Cat, ALL while knowing her real feelings. He can see from the hug alone where Cat truly is AND that Vincent HAS changed. He acknowledged as much in his conversation with Vincent on the houseboat. And Gabe KNOWS that the best way to get to Vincent is to make him think that someone ELSE could give Cat a better life. Because he KNOWS that VINCENT WILL PUT CAT FIRST.
So by the time we get to the final scene, Gabe HAS ACKNOWLEDGED to Cat in the precinct that it is HER CHOICE who she will be with. Of course, this is because he believes he will win in the end. He can't imagine anyone being better than himself. So he manipulates Cat into going to see Vincent. And he has INSTRUCTED HER to choose who she wants to be with. So she does. Cat FINALLY follows her HEART. And yes, as we see from the next episode, it takes Cat's brain a little while to catch up to her heart. All because Cat does NOT want to be hurt again. And with Vincent, Cat is vulnerable to great hurt and pain. With Gabe, Cat can lose him from her life and really not miss anything, even the conversation, because Gabe IS so manipulative and has her feeling anxious and bad about herself and her decisions all the time. Look how happy and EXPRESSIVE Cat is once she is with Vincent. Vincent and Cat bring out the best in each other. So really, it WASN'T cheating, given that Gabe TOLD Cat to CHOOSE who she wants to be with. And Cat ultimately chooses LOVE, Vincent, and the best version of herself.

I'm wondering whether the writers, producers and even the actors are aware of all the things we see in the scenes, lines, expressions, body language and we read into it. Wondering how much of it is intentional And how much accidental. Would love to know that! See, even as an actor you need to have a raw talent, a gift to portray those emotions on your face. Think of how many times you feel something but your face does not convey the emotion. It is a skill. Yes, it can be polished but it cannot be learned. There are certain actors, people in general, you find believable on the screen, there are some where you see there is an effort behind it and there are many whose portrayal falls flat. So of course you can think and analyze how exactly you're gonna pass this on but you have to go "there" emotionally to express those emotions and that's not an easy thing to do. In my experience (I have never been an actor though), the camera picks up on so many details of your body language, the mimics, the face, the voice - it needs to be IT, you have to nail it. You have to be present. Kristin and Jay make it look so erfortless and so easy but it's not. So there IS a great deal of work behind it. And it is an added value when it comes off looking like it's the most natural thing in the world. Because of course as Louis Armstrong said "If you don't have it in you, you can't let it out". I was rereading some threads the other day and really liked one of the posts that said Kristin and Jay had brought too much chemistry into the show. And it's true. The final scene of 2x15 is out of this world. It is so good it's almost unreal. Just like the two of them.

IMO Jay & KK have brought so much of it that they have ruined everything and every other couple that has chemistry or is raved about by other fans & people. I just started watching BONES & that chemistry doesnt even come close to what Jay & KK have together & portray on screen. They make it so real as and the emotions that they bring to a scene like 215. I felt like I was there in 215. Their emotions are so tangible. I think my issue is that I've never come across a couple before thats had that much before so mow anything I see now and even before feels fake to me. And after getting the real thing and everything else seems like a cheap imitation. Kudos to them for the way that both Jay & KK acted in that final 215 scene. Those are the type of scenes I would love more people especially potential new viewers to see because they feel so real & tangible. They both are so underrated as actors. There isn't a lot of great acting that imo I could rave about, a lot of it seems so dry, & forced, but all the actors on BATB just have the perfect chemistry together.

There is a certain danger to it too. There was only one TV couple that ever came close to Vincat in that way and it was Meredith/Derek season1/2 on Grey's Anatomy. Obviously the charm and the chemistry has worn off after 11 seasons what with the show completely deteoriating too BUT their chemistry essentially made and buried the show for me. They have become so untouchable in the eyes of fans that when a new love interest for Derek had been introduced in season 4, fans were sending death threats to Shonda Rhimes. No kidding. The fans forced her hand in getting them back together forever and the show has never gotten over it - because no drama no story. And ever since then Merder have been a snoozefest. Their acting, their chemistry had always been at its best when angst and tensions were involved. As a happy couple with no conflicts it only gets interesting for so long before it becomes boring. Kudos to Ellen and Patrick though for what they achieved with a fiction couple. They are a legend in my eyes.
So I think no matter how much you love the characters and know they're destined it's ok to keep it cool. They're going to be conflicts and tensions and that's good. That's what makes for a good TV show. I was reminded of how Jenna said in one of the Comic Con intw how they got the two characters together so soon because everything else felt fake : like what are they waiting for. It was not because of how the show had been written, I don't think the writers had planned to get them together so soon it was the chemistry that exelarated it. That's my opinion. Had the chemistry been a little less intense and obvious, the will they won't they could have been drawn out at least a season longer.
Kristin and Jay are another level. I love how bold they are. With their kissing, with their emotions. They are a movie material. It's like they look at each other and are in some sort of a parallel universe and we are invited in to watch. And love. Also their chemistry has matured since season 1. I don't get why people say season 2 was not as hot as season 1. Oh my. Kids have grown up, is all I say to this.

Amen! 100% agree especially the last paragraph. I could go on and on about Jay & KK together, but if I do that too much we will have to take this convo to the JayKris shipper thread. But i will just say this, their chemistry was too strong imo for it to me realistic for them to have had them drag out the will they or won't they aspect of it. And I also agree with the whole boring thing if there is no angst between them & I really hope that what happens on Greys Anatomy doesnt happen with BATB. I am okay with VinCat having angst or issues. Do I want them to break up? Of course not, but I'll take a break up or something as long as their chemistry fire doesnt cease. The only requirement I have from this show is that I always feel that pull/connection between Jaystin/Vincat. Even at odds in S2, I still felt that pull & thats what carried me through S2. S2 chemistry was just as great a S1. Although it has started to tone down a bit
