Love the fact that when Vincat try to work on the cases separately the ALWAYS run into each other at some point & end up having to work together anyway. Just save time guys hello, and stop being child and work together from the beginning. Itll prob be more effective. LOL

I think Vincent DOES realize that since he isn't over Cat, she most likely isn't over him. And he is confident about it UNTIL Gabe hits him where he is most vulnerable, the fact that he is a "beast" that can't give Cat a normal life. Then Vincent figures that if he DOES love Catherine, he has to let her go. That Catherine would rather have a Normal Life without passion/love rather than an Extraordinary Life WITH the love of her life.
And I LOVE how Cat says to Sam, "If Vincent's dead, YOU'RE dead!" Meaning she will do and become the very thing that she has warned Vincent against because she KNOWS she wouldn't be able to handle his death.

And Gabe having to hear Cat ask Vincent to move her leg! Cat saying "too close" thinking Gabe asks about Vincent and he looking her with that funny face, all the scene is really so good.

And I like that Gabe continues to unravel. He is acting angry at Sam when it is REALLY over the fact that Cat was clinging/hugging Vincent.

So much sexual tension going on in this car scene. I really want to see some bloopers of this scene on the S2 DVD

Love that Cat admits that she would care if something happened to V

How stupid WAS Gabe to send Cat in alone to talk to Vincent about their relationship.
And Cat shouldn't have had to defend her actions of WORKING with Vincent to solve the case and stop Sam in time. Or for the fact that she hugged Vincent in the moment when they (AND the victim) had come out of the explosion alive.
And Cat trying to do the right thing by maintaining her relationship with Gabe. So she takes GABE's orders to go talk to Vincent. (BUT it is actually what she DEEP DOWN wants to do.)

Love VinCat hug after V saves Xavier. And bonus points Gabe sees it! Love the hug! VinCat is so deep into that hug that they dont even realize or notice Tess& Gabe are there. It's kinda awkward imo them watching lol. They are interrupting a great vincat moment

Okay, still just LOVE this ending scene. Cat not wanting to hurt Vincent. And not wanting Vincent to let her go at the same time she thinks that she DOES want him to let her go. And Vincent clearly just wanting her to be happy. But he just KNOWS that Gabe can't make her happy, and he can.
That scene is just so perfect (I mean, minus the cheating angle.). I mean, they just can't take being apart anymore. Don't fade to black yet! NNNOOOOO!

And that is the other great thing I love about this episode. At the beginning of the episode, we are forced to see a Gabe/Catherine kiss. And at this point, their relationship is at the best it will get. Yet, the kiss really lacks passion. Cat is trying so hard to get into the relationship, yet looks panicked at the key presentation. She even tries to hug Gabe and be in the moment with him. Yet it is NOTHING to the desperate VinCat hug after the explosion. I mean, it is Cat telling him that she couldn't live without him, is proud of him, loves the man he has become. ALL of that from one hug. And you have no idea just how long it lasts. But clearly, they are hugging each other as if they will never let go. You just FEEL the emotion. And then the kisses in the boathouse. I mean, once they start, they just can't stop. Because they are just MEANT to be together like that. They work SO WELL together in this episode, once they right themselves after the car crash. And Gabe is just continually struggling from the car scene on JUST TO TRY to catch up to them. Just no comparison. So the ending scene is obvious. LOVE THIS!
