I'd rather he say nothing at all than say something negative about the show. That would have sucked more. . I feel the same. Then again, maybe he did mention the show and the writer left it out. Maybe it was author bias. Here's what she said about the pilot back in June of 2012 when the Huffingtonpost was doing its roundup of TV critics first impressions of the fall pilots Ryan: Skip It I don't really have room in my life for a mildly offbeat procedural, which is basically what this remake is, and I love Kristin Kreuk but I'm not seeing her as an NYC cop. And here' what she said about the show on her twitter account Mo Ryan Verified account @moryan 10 Oct 2012 @josephfinn @hitfixdaniel dental surgery without novocaine is better than Beauty and the Beast. To be fair, she's far from the only critic who felt that way. Going by the metacritic score, I think there was only one show rated lower by the critics in the 2012 TV season. But considering that Pedowitz talks about Emily Owens' failure as a light bulb moment with regards to procedurals on the CW, I would think Beauty would have been worth a mention if only for the fact that it was originally designed and sold as a procedural and then half way through its first season shifted formats on the fly. Actually, I think the network and/or studio's insistance on making the show a procedural is one of the reasons it lost over a million viewers over its first four episodes.

It doesn't bother me. He's mentioned BATB in past interviews, so saying nothing this time is no biggie to me. I'd rather he say nothing at all than say something negative about the show. That would have sucked more. I expect (hope) at a later date, closer to when S4 airs, there will be some mention again to set the stage for the final season. I tend to agree with you BeastieBoy, no mention is better than a negative one. But I do think it's sad all this profit making talk. Surely, the main reason for making programs for the CW should be to entertain, not make money. Obviously, they can't afford to lose money but surely there are easier ways to make money than making a show and hoping people will watch it and other overseas networks buy it. They have spent money making BATB, paying the actors and crew, buying costumes and props, filming it, editing it. I am always at a loss to understand why they do so little to promote it. I can't watch my TV for an hour without seeing promos for the latest episodes of Flash, Arrow and the new Code Black hospital drama, not to mention the shockingly bad Supergirl. They can't under promote BATB then moan about the ratings. But they do!!

Not many will even read that article. It's water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. I'm happier that BATB was included in this little parody, voiced by our beauty KK.

I absolutely LOVE this Robot Chicken clip. And it is even cute for more reasons than KK's voiceover ---clearly, the Nerd has never heard of the show and doesn't know its premise. However, all it takes for him is one look at KK (and a love of the Beast powers that he gets as "Nerd Vincent") and he states that he HAS to "DVR the heck" out of this show! So I love the implication being that you watch BATB and get drawn in quickly.
PLUS, the very fact that BATB is one of the shows chosen to represent the CW in this clip says volumes to me. Obviously, it is a fan favorite with a loyal following (even if small) whether it is given credit for that fact or not. So I love that it is alongside "Arrow" and "Flash" and that the Nerd plans to follow the show after he has been exposed to it!
(And lastly, KK just ROCKS in this! She is hilarious, reminding us that she does comedy as well as melodrama! Which "Chuck" fans would have known anyway.)

Anyone notice that in the promo aired after the recent Reign episode that it is returning in Spring? I was expecting The CW to send it to summer like they did with BATB. Containment was also said to premiere in Spring.
Seems like Reign will take Crazy Ex-Girlfriends spot (paired with Jane The Virgin) while Containment will take iZombie's spot (paired with the Flash) as they both have smaller episode orders (18 for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and 19 for iZombie).

The comments say S3. But I don't recall an episode with this scene or a "bomber". Could this be from S4? Edit: Or maybe this is from 301? The "bomber" comment is what's throwing me off. http://instagr.am/p/BETcI_oO9Wg

Yup, the super-enhanced crayzed Tyler Zane tried to blow up the building he was working in. I never did understand that part of the plot. What made him do it? They explained to us that the drug enhanced already existing traits in the test subjects and that Zane became more competitive and more ambitious, etc. So, how does becoming a bomber fit into this scenario?

Thanks, I'll add it to the 301 ep thread, where it belongs. FYI - skillsnstunts has other instagram stunt postings, which I placed in the 216, 308 & 309 episode threads.

I have the same problem with this plot. I explained myself that maybe Zane wasn't able to reach higher position as he wanted so he started to hate his work so much that he wanted to see it destroyed

I explained myself that maybe Zane wasn't able to reach higher position as he wanted so he started to hate his work so much that he wanted to see it destroyed That is a good explanation - I like it. My next question is, however, why did Juliana give him the drug in the first place? What was her selection process for her experiments? She was looking for somebody to stop Liam, so how can an enhanced Wall Street broker help her with that? Would not a body builder, boxer, kung fu specialist have been a better choice? I suppose we just have to write it down to her trying to perfect the serum, before she started to build an army of super-humans to protect her. Alton Finn was a better choice at least - he could maybe electrocute Liam. Bob and Carol I can halfway understand - they were her 'cleaners' - killing people who knew too much. Then they completely confused me again when Juliana wanted to kill Vincent when she knew that HE was her chance to defeat Liam. She could have injected Catherine and forced Vincent to do anything she wanted him to - like kill Liam for her - if she withheld the antidote that would save Catherine's life. THAT at least would have been logical and could have played out very dramatically if done right. Oh well....

I think that like what happened with JT, some people were given the serum but they were not Juliana's target. I think at some point someone could be informed about a new drug that can enhance your human possibilities and maybe some pusher started to steel that drug from couriers; other people were Juliana's experiments just to set up the serum. About killing Vincent: I don't think Juliana really wanted to kill him but she wanted to bend Cat to make her force Vincent to follow her plan in killing Liam; and maybe study Vincent blood to have another beast + superhuman enhanced man to fight Liam
