I am not a revengeful person. I just said that because I am very mad with CW's behavior at the moment! But I also don't like their other shows too... Despite it doesn't make any diference, cause I don' t live in USA.. lol no yes I was not being critical apologies if it came across like that Don't worry dear. The problem is that I am mad, worried, confused, frustrated.....

I think all BATB fans are starting to get frustrated, sad and angry w/ the CW, with the lack of answers, promotion or information about the show

Yup the only thing I d say is A. Yes the 88 figure for syndication is more relaxed now but u still need a certain number of EPs B. That is also what I think about summer programming and the whole expensive thing but then again if they gave us s3 and intended for us to be in summer could it be it is feasible? Lol I wish I was in their heads I think when they renewed us for 13 eps they hadn’t decided about the air date yet, they needed to see first if some of the new shows would tank. But if season 3 now airs in summer, even if the ratings would be OK(and by that I mean not worse than 0.3), would they take the same risk again and produce another relatively expensive season for a possible summer programming ? I know its all speculation from our sides, but really hoping the episode count for syndication is playing a role.

I just realized the only tiny, almost to be overlooked in a blink mention we got so far were the 2 seconds in the clip of the PCA’s nominees. Hopefully we will win something tomorrow and this will lead to another appearance in a CW promo.

yeah i saw that this mornign adn it does not look good...but...they did nto include whose line is it anyway or ANTP and if these dont air there will be three free slots come april (latest mid april). i really dont know what to think i am disappointed either way: if we do air midseason (march-april) then why were we not included here??? how disgusting is that of the cw? could they not spend a little bit of money to come on set and put some new batb footage as they did with other shows including dixie which is allegedly in its final season? if we do air in summer i just cannot think of any way (and i knwo i am being negative) that we coudl be renewed at all. they would probably announce this as our final season...my understanding is they decie on budget and slots etc for all shwos in may time no? so if we air after that time what are our chances? would they even risk renewing us before we even air? i dunno sorry dont know the business and may be talking bull but these are my random thoughts on the PCA front it would be a miracle if we attended but also it has been confirmed that none from supernatural is attending. also we know nina dobrev wont attend and not sure about ian somerhalder. that does not mean they did not win anything, ti just means that probably their categories wont even be menioned (like ours were not last year). so why attend if u wont even be mentioned. my prediction for cw shows is: virgin wins new show (that is for sure..i have checked twitter patterns and it is so obvious, their competition is too weak). and i bet u gina will present and she will probably be on stage to accept the prize... ian will again win best actor either nina or kk will win actress (despite goodwin being there) our show will win best show nina and ian will win best duo our categories (best show and actress) wont be announced (so no publicity) and neither will any other cw ones besides the virgin. Sorry I knwo I am being negative, just need to vent a bit lol - how will peopel ever know that the shwo is returning at some point if it is never ever acknowledged I agree with everything you said, these are basically my thought’s too. It’s just being realistic. And I’m pissed at the CW for neglecting our show. Maybe they haven’t decided yet if to air Who’s line is it or BATB in March/April, but like you said, they act like BATB doesn’t exist, how do they think they will people get interested to tune in when it finally airs? They completely stopped promoting after season 1, and I found it especially unfair compared to Reign, which had lower ratings at the end of its first season and it still got so much more new season 2 promo. Although by now its season 2 ratings are nothing to brag about either, given it is airing on a Thursday after TVD.
Concerning PCA’s I guess we should be thankful they flew in KK and JR the first time, although they weren’t on stage either, but that was back then when they still spent some money on promotion. Of course Golden Globe nominated JTV is their new favorite child and they want to get it all the attention this year. My predictions for PCA’s are the same as yours, with the vote splitting Ian should again have the better end, but thats also the reason I can hardly see TVD win 3 PCAs(Ian, Delena, Nina), so I'd say either Delena or Nina won't make it- we’ll see tomorrow night. Also, it could be that BATB ratings aren’t of great interest anymore for the CW, and it’s only about episodes for syndication, international sales etc. What I’ve read the episode count isn’t that import anymore nowadays for this syndication thing, so I wouldn’t set my hopes for renewal on that. And although cheaper than some other CW shows, I think BATB is still too expensive to produce to remain as a mere summer show. But as long we’re not officially canceled, there’s still hope- we’re not dead yet! I could imagine that they stopped promoting BATB because as you said ratings aren't of great interest for the CW anymore, although Austin said otherwise. They know BATB has its loyal fan base who will be watching it anyway. So I think their intention isn't gathering new viewers. They failed with that last year, so they probably think promotion would be wasted money. So I hope if CW cancels a CBS show than they should cancel Reign. That show hasn't much better ratings than BATB given its time slot, it's much more expensive and the international sales could not compare with BATB. As I read. I've never watched this show. Just didn't like the female main cast from a interview I watched. Although it would be killing me to wait till summer for S3 to air, if that would be good for our show, then let it be. What's that about with summer shows? Are they normally cheaper shows? So you bbat think that it would be bad if BATB would become a summer show? What made me very angry were some of the comments on that cancellation poll. There was somebody who said CW would make a mockery of itself if it would renew BATB. Who is he/she to state that all other CW shows are so much better than BATB?I've watched a few. Many of them have their flaws in writing and plot development. Many of them including the high rated ones haven't got actors half as talented as our cast! And none got it all: Romance, Action, Mythology, Friendship and Comedy. JTV is promoted as comedy - I've laughed more at every single funny JT line than any ep of JTV I've watched!

Well, the big networks of course can spend more money on their summer shows, but for the CW, with its generally much lower ratings to begin with, I don’t know if the costs for a "big" scripted drama show would pay off. It definitely would be risky. They tried summer programming last year with 2 very cheap comedies, Seed and Backpackers, both failed and were canceled after only 2 episodes when they only pulled a 0.2 and 0.1 after Whose Line is it anyway on Monday. Even reruns had the same or higher numbers. But Mark Pedowitz said in the summer’s TCA press tour they are planning to use Whose Line for launching comedies behind it nonetheless, "whether it be in the summer or in spring": www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/comedies-backpackers-seed-sent-packing-720715. But who knows what’s going on behind closed doors at the CW. Maybe we will know more after the winter’s TCA press tour, as Anapi said. And yes, especially at Spoiler TV and TV by the Numbers there are those "know-it-all" commenters who only look at ratings and therefore despise our show. Lol, but they keep saying the same thing since season 1, and so far they’ve always been proven wrong, so they have only given me a good laugh.

Glad for me I haven't read any of the comments on that cancellation poll!! The comments weren't all bad corinne. And it was an interesting read because they discussed network policy of which I don't know anything. Although I don't know how an expert these guys are. I give more about what some members here on the borard have to say about that issue. Was made me angry was some of the words and expressions they used towards BATB. And some who just said BATB should get cancelled bc it's a bad show without even have watched it as they said! I would never say Reign is a bad show as I never have watched it.

I read a bit more about summer shows yesterday after I posted this. So now I don't hope they put BATB on a summer slot! I recall to have read somewhere that Mark Pedowitz and his wife love the show. So I hope they keep it at least for a fourth season if they can vindicate it with the overall earnings. And who knows maybe s3 is going to get a big hit and the ratings skyrocket. I hope it will blow us from our seats from the scoops we got! What was also interesting to read, was that a majority said JtV should get cancelled. I cannot imagine this show to have more than 22 eps. And the ratings are very bad for a such highly acclaimed show which by the way I don't understand. IMO the acting is not very good!

You're really going to think I'm from another planet but I don't know any of these other current shows you're talking about, not Jane the V-something, not Vampire diaries, not Flash, not Arrow, not any other I don't even remember the names (that I discovered while voting ;-), and have already forgotten). I'm not sure they're aired on French Tv btw.
Aside from Batb, the only 3 shows that I have watched "seriously" in the past were : Ally McBeal, Desperate Housewives, and The Good Wife. And I've seen here and there an episode of Mentalist, Unforgettable or Body of Proof, but honestly very few, a maximum of 2 of each. I never could get to want to see more.
So I would not comment either on the quality of these shows

I freely admit that it is like I am pouting so much about not having BATB that it has basically soured any other of the few shows that I watch. I am a fan of "Castle" and "Bones," but I have actually missed several episodes this year. Right now, the superhero genre is really working for the CW, as well as the vampire shows. So the CW has multiple hits plus actual critical praise for Jane. Sigh. BATB can still get some publicity for the CW as a network due to the press that has happened in the last year over the various renewals campaigns, save this show, etc.
At this rate, I am now assuming that Stuart was right about the 4/15/15 release date for the Season 2 DVD set in the US. That would mean that the CW is tentatively planning to air BATB on or about April 10 or April 17, if they choose the Friday option. By airing the first episode of Season 3 at or around this time, they can also have a commercial for the DVD set. However, given the CW's total lack of BATB advertising, they may not even plan to do a DVD commercial. However, that is usually the way they do it in the US is to use that first ep to advertise a recent DVD release. So I am going to hope for this, if we don't get a March air date. At least by airing in April, the CW would have preliminary data going into the May upfronts.

Quite frankly, Beasties will REALLY need to be motivated and reminded of the DVD release date, whenever it comes. We will basically need to campaign that everyone get the DVDs. BATB has to be profitable, and the DVD sales can show that BATB still has the fanbase. I plan to do my part and get multiple copies of the Season 2 DVD set! Multiple people I know are going to get the BATB DVD as presents to hopefully encourage more viewership!

I watch most of shows on Netflix and Hulu now - that's why I know them. The Vampire Diaries and Arrow should air in France as they air in Germany. I watched TVD in the past, but as soon as I discovered BATB I got bored with that teeny vampire stuff. I enjoy quite a number of shows right now like Game of Thrones, Sleepy Hollow, The Flash, Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, Orange is the new Black, Hannibal, but none that I ever would watch a episode twice or uncountable number of times like BATB!
