Anybody obessing like me on how they are going to play this out? Will Vicent want to get back with her or turn her down? Will Alex and Cat have a Cat fight over Vincent?? i wonder if most if will be flashbacks or the ex trying to get back into Vicent life. Thoughts...

I don't think Vincent will try and get back together with her. he hasn't thought about her at all, from what we've seen these past 10 years. Right now he is consumed by Cat and doesn't think about anyone else. Alex, on the other hand might try and get back together again or not she might just want to be his friend and nothing more but judging how writers are these days we're probably going to see a triangle of some sort. Then again, I thought we would get one with Evan and we really haven't so who knows. Alex might persue him though, especially if she's thought him dead and loved him all these years.

yeah, i agree i really think that he will talk to her to give her some kind of closure so she can move on with her life as he in a way has by finding cat!

I'm really hoping they explain the comment JT made in the, I think, second episode, "you remember what happened the last time you started making playlists." And Vincent said "this isn't last time" I'm guessing this has to be about Alex. Since he's been in hiding for 10 years so she would have to be the last woman he was serious about. I've been curious what happened the last time since JT said that though, so hoping to find out.

I think "making playlists "sentence denotes something happened after vincent gone underground.it doesnt mean alex,because jts word"this time it will be far worse she is a cop".

I'm really hoping they explain the comment JT made in the, I think, second episode, "you remember what happened the last time you started making playlists." And Vincent said "this isn't last time" I'm guessing this has to be about Alex. Since he's been in hiding for 10 years so she would have to be the last woman he was serious about. I've been curious what happened the last time since JT said that though, so hoping to find out. I've been wondering that too! I'm thinking Cat may be a little annoyed that Vincent didn't tell her that he was engaged (assuming he didn't, since we haven't seen it). And she may even ask him if he'd want to get back with Alex. I'm really thinking though that Vincent has moved on. Otherwise, he could've brought her in like he did with JT. One thing I wondered is if it will turn out that Vincent broke off the engagement before he enlisted. Think about it. He quit his job at the hospital. He may have also called off the engagement. Either way, Alex thinks he was dead, so I'm wondering what's in store if she figures out he actually isn't. (In the extended promo, looks like he's hiding from her after Alex sees him.) Also, would Alex tell Vincent's dad? JT? other friends? etc. Or will Vincent get away and then Alex will only wonder if she really did see him and then really we just get flashbacks of his time with her? Not sure. I just don't want this to turn into a "Vincent is torn between two women" thing. I know they are trying to put off the kiss, but I don't think they should wait too long! I agree with other posters here that even a kiss on the scar (for now) would be nice -- just give us something soon & by soon, I don't mean at the end of Season 1. |

Yep, Alex should be gone at some point during episode 13. However, that is when the new ADA makes his nude debut.  On the positive side, episode 13 airs on Valentine’s Day. Keeping my fingers crossed and says a little prayer, I am hoping the writers will have mercy on us and let things start to heat up romantically between VinCat. Do not get me wrong, I love the intimacy we have seen so far, yet, the writers really do need to start taking it up a notch at this point.
Vincent breaking off his engagement with Alex before he had left for Afghanistan is highly probable, especially given Alex was so surprised to see him at the hospital. Perhaps Vincent did not give Alex a choice. I really do not see Vincent having any feelings for Alex any more. Yet, if Vincent did, he would have reconciled with her years ago. However, keep in mind, Vincent was also keeping an eye on Cat during all those years as well. 
Bearing this in mind, I cannot see Vincent leaving Cat now. Especially after watching those final scenes for the 20th or 30th time, hey whose counting. ;D If anything, Vincent will be honest with Cat and Alex. Vincent wants Alex to move on with her life, and he does not want to keep any more secrets from Cat. Oh those writers, they knew what this long wait would do to us. Probably having a field day knowing how all this waiting is just pure torture on us BATB fans. January 24th needs to hurry up and get here. Thank god for Hulu, YouTube, and DVRs.

Hey Reyna...totally agree with you on all the BOLDS - Red & Green...yes the intimacy is all good...I liked the way Cat moved her hands over Vincent during the dance....and since they are torturing us for such a long time ( seems like an eternity)...they shoulld reward us with a passionate hug & KISS especially after Catherine tells Vincent that she accepts ALL OF HIM.... ...that line should take their relationship up next level coz Vincent has already accepted Catherine and now she too...so they should move forward before the NUDE ADA turns up....BUT I think that Vincent's Ex & the new ADA are gonna only make VinCat realize that they are meant to be NO MATTER WHAT.... ...I am watching all the episodes one-by-one till January 24th 2013....especially the episode 9 - the BEST.... |

They might change this but in the pilot Tess says "look at this, next of kin are all dead too" or something along those lines. So I don't think Vincent has any living relatives, thats why they had to go to the hospital to ask a co-worker about friends and then found JT. Jay has said about Linda Hamilton playing his mom so maybe they are planning on changing that cannon. But right now I don't think there is anyone for Alex to tell, except JT.
I would love to believe that its just a hey here is some closure, move on with your life Alex. And here is some flashbacks to before Vincent left. But the episode after this one is titled "Cold Turkey." Google says the definition of cold turkey is "The abrupt and complete cessation of taking a drug to which one is addicted." I thought that fit Vincent and Cat perfectly. I have a feeling its going to be we need to be apart so I can work through everything episode.
I think the whole Vincent with a gun thing is with Evan chasing down the "beast" he can't afford to kill while he's beasted out on any of Catherine's cases. So in order to protect her, he becomes her unoffical cop partner.
Oh and did anyone else notice in the preview that Tess is standing in the bathroom with a holy hell I'm pregnant face on!

on the woman who plays Alex Bridet Regan on her twitter page someone ask her how many episodes she'll be in and she replied 4. So I wonder how they will have her in four episodes if Vincent is going to tell her to move on and that he loves cat

That Cold Turkey definition is interesting.It sure sounds like Cat may start assessing the risks of being around each other again even though getting shot had nothing to do with Vincent. Who knows, maybe its in reference to a supporting character.
And the mixed tape this is interesting too. Maybe Vincent returned from Afganistan to his ex thinking he could find a way to act normal but then had to leave her when he realized it was uncontrollable or changing thus it didnt work out so well. Is it possible that the ex already knew he was alive but has not seen him since he left her because he was supposedly in trouble with the govt or is that what she is going to think when she realizes he is actually alive when she believed him dead?
