Hola, bella! We are truly in need of a GOLASO. (Yet none scored against your son.) Hopefully all the stars will align when we least expect it and light up our screens in unexpected ways. I like to believe that it is never too late...but my light has slowly been dwindling down.

I'm on the fence about the S3 thing.., they fudged up so much of S2 so royally IMO, I'm just not sure how I feel about giving B. Kern and co more episodes to wreak havoc on my (used to be ) favorite show. S2 has not been worth it IMO. I don't know how to feel about begging them for more of what I feel has been pretty craptastic TV . 1 or 2 decent episodes do not make up for the rest of the season which I wish I had never seen ...

Assuming the show is renewed, what will make your decision to watch or not? If Brad Kern is fired? Speaking of feeling abandoned, here's an outside possibility that most Beasties haven't considered. Maybe Jay and/or Kris are not thrilled with the direction of the show either and might consider leaving? I don't know how their contracts are constructed, but they could be in a position to really play hard ball with the network if the decision is made to renew for a third year. I know they both would be thrilled not to be in Toronto winter again. Jay and Kris are two smart people. They don't have the luxury of not standing back and looking at the big picture objectively. One of the questions I'd ask myself if I were them is....."is BATB going to be a negative for my career choices in the future?" Just thinking out loud.

Assuming the show is renewed, what will make your decision to watch or not? If Brad Kern is fired? For me, Brad Kern can just leave quietly and I promise not to chase him with pitchforks. He doesn't have to be fired, just go. Trust has to be earned, it isn't automatic. And he has done nothing to earn trust this year. At least from me. For me, he killed the heart out of a show that was ALL HEART. The memory loss didn't bother me. V taking revenge into his own hands didn't bother me. What bothered me then? V physically hurting Cat and both triangles. Shallow, tacky, teenagerish, and completely unnecessary. Real love/romance killers. EDIT: About the memory loss - It didn't bother me because (foolishly) I assumed that eventually he would get his memories back; something or someone would trigger them returning and it would be one of the most beautiful/amazing/fascinating/heart-wrenching scenes of the entire series. Well, it could have been, had it been done right. Instead, we are supposed to assume it happened and we have no idea of its effect on V. Just sad . . .

I don't think either Jay or Kristin have the luxury of getting out of their contracts at this point .... But I'm not an expert on how those TV actors contract's work ... I'm not sure how I will decide to watch or not, I have continued with S2 despite many moral and personal objections to many S2 plot lines... and hated nearly every minute of it. It seems to be a bad habit, that I have found difficult to break. So I'm not sure. I just don't personally believe the show is in capable hands anymore... which is disheartening. If I imagine the "quality" of story lines we have seen in S2 applied to a possible third season, I literally can't imagine continuing watching though. It is just too hard. Anyway, I just can't get excited about "fighting" for a third season when my efforts to get the show renewed for a second season were pretty much just crapped all over by a creative team intent on destroying everything I loved about the show. I just can't do it - call it conscientious objection, but fighting for a S3 feels like the wrong thing for me at this point, and feels a lot like rewarding them for the considerably offensive S2 plot lines. I'm not sure what is worse, rewarding their craptastic S2 by fighting for a S3, or trying to imagine what they would do with the show if they had 22 more episodes to waste on <edited>ty story lines...

Oh I would chase him or anyone else on the creative team with a pitch fork - and a mouthful of choice phrases. I feel like all of them should be held accountable for what they did. They want us to be excited about the VinCat reunion being "worth the wait" - excuse me but what part about character assassination, sleeping around, turning our romantic hero into an abusive a-hole, and countless wasted episodes and story lines could possibly be "worth" wasting 3/4 of the season? NO, just no. Not okay, not worth it, actually quite the opposite, killed my love for the show, and replaced it with negativity, bitterness, and disgust.
