Interesting, but I think it's time to appeal to a different type of audience, that is the audience that doesn't want to be strung along with will they/won't they for 5 seasons. The audience that doesn't buy into love triangles...seriously, how many of those have you run into in your life? Me? None. I've never been part of a triangle and I've had my fair share of guys. And finally, prove through well paced story lines, strong characters and fantastic writing that a show doesn't have to be dull or boring because a couple is together. I would love the entertainment industry to stop catering to the lowest common denominator. Not every show on television has to be TVD or Scandal nor should it be.

You know, I think they thought exploring the whole mythology angle and everyone finding out "who they are" would appeal to a different type of audience. It sort of worked out that way, but the unintended consequences were much greater than expected. As I said awhile back, I don't think the ratings are going to move appreciably the rest of the season. The viewers who got fed up left and won't be back, and the rest are going to stay until the end no matter what happens. Ultimately, this show just doesn't have the creativity it needs to really gain traction and start increasing the viewership. I think they have some good writers, (I liked both episodes written by John Norris) but it's too spotty and the series really is a roller-coaster ride quality wise. But heck, maybe they'll pull a rabbit out of the hat the last half dozen episodes and a bunch of people will start tuning in?

John Norris wrote 203 and 208. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but Sherri Cooper and Jennifer Levin have not written an episode since 202.

No, they wrote episode 13, but they only wrote, the story was not theirs. Which means that they're completely out of the creative process. Explains a lot.

Yes, sorry, forgot about the current episode. John Norris also wrote 214 so hopefully will be a good one.

d The CW remained out of the competitive loop with its anemic pairing of “Hart of Dixie” (#5: 1.0/ 1) and “Beauty and the Beast” (#5: 0.7/ 1)

I'm not sure how to gauge the "Olympic effect." Here in the U.S. NBC's coverage is very poor and it wouldn't surprise me if much channel-surfing was happening on Monday nights. Where I'm at, we have access to CBUT which is marginally better.
Obviously, most of the Olympic TV coverage is on delay owing to the large time difference from Sochi to North/South America. Any event results could easily be accessed hours earlier....if interested.

Think HOD and BATB although have low ratings, these seem solid. Don't think they'll go down because of the Olympics but don't expect them to rise either

That the 'loyal' viewers continue to watch even though there might be something else on. Meaning the 720-800 thousand viewers are constant. We haven't gone down below a 0.03 yet...I'm actually hoping that ONCE VInCat magic is back we get at least 0.04 and stay in that range. ..Although by that time the number crunch will do nothing basically because they decide on renewals in May and the last episode 16 will air and no other new episodes until after the renewals are announced. So we have to get 0.04 in these last 3 episodes remaining and I highly doubt that ep 14 will do that. Basically cause GabeRine is still 'on' EWWW!
