Okay so again it's too late for recap. If I'll give a short paragraph about the basics. Cat has Heather find her a satellite office so they have better access and space to hunt for the beast hunters. JT and Heather are helping Cat set up when Heather mentions to Cat about the pregnancy test in her purse. Cat hasn't taken it yet bc she's "been busy" and is afraid to know. She hasn't told V yet. Cat goes to DHS to meet with Hill and figures out he might have been attacked. She calls V to meet him at his place. They save Hill who was being attacked and Hill feels indebt to them and pulls more strings to help them figure out bounty hunter is. They come across some guy, I forget his name, but basically they got to meet this guy and while there, this guy is kidnapped.b(also VinCat have a convo about kids, V gives Cat the impression he doesn't want them) at this point C hasn't told him. They put his family under watch at Cats apartment and VinCat have a small argument about being able to find this guy. V is having a hard time tracking, when Cat in the middle of the argument blurts out she's pregnant. V reassures her that they'd figure it out if they were. (I love how receptive he was to the idea of kids, unlike how he was in S1) they wait to test til they find the guy. V tracks him to a car junk yard while JT, Tess, Heather and Cat figure out that it's a trap to lure V out. V figures out the guy is lying and he reveals to V he is an assassin and they play a game of cat & mouse. V gets shots and just as he's about to get killed Cat comes in and saves the day and kills the guy. V goes to the hospital (yes we get to see Jays beautiful abs) and dr says rest for V. VinCat goes home and Cat takes the test. It's negative, she's disappointed, but they agree it's not the right time, v doesn't want his kid to go through what he did. Tori is mentioned unfortunately. They decide not to put their relationship on hold ever. There are some JTnT scenes, and other stuff. Okay quickly what I liked was VinCat. That pull and that vibe that is between them is almost perfection, it gives me the feels. Feels I haven't genuinely felt in a long while. They are just too cute together. Loved the conversation between them when Cat reveals she might be pregnant. V was just so sweet, compassionate and understanding and supportive, his reaction was a lot better than his S1 reaction. He actually seemed excited for a quick moment about the thought of him and Cat possibly having a baby. Loved how he took her in his arms to comfort her. I also loved how they are constantly putting each other before themselves and are constantly worrying about them the other ones safety and if they are okay. VinCat has certainly picked up their game. That's all for now...sorry my recap isn't the greatest and is probably sporadic.

I enjoyed this episode. It's probably my second favourite of season because I loved the last 15 mins, but it wasn't as good as 4x03 in my opinion. There is a great vincat scene where, even though they do start by arguing, they end up having a really touching conversation in their apartment and I loved that. Also, and I'm trying not to sound strange when I say this, but I think it was a good thing that Vincent got hurt in the junk yard. Up to now in this season he's almost seemed invincible and this has just made it seem more realistic that there are people out there who CAN hurt or kill him. The last two scenes were great. JT and Tess were able to have a down to earth conversation about their relationship/breakup without sniping at each other. They were very grown up about the whole thing. The last scene between Vincent and Catherine I really liked. You can kind of see the disappointment in cat's face when she finds out she isn't pregnant, and you can understand why (her excitement had building all episode) but you can also understand where Vincent is coming from when he says he doesn't want their kid to go through what he had to go through. He mentions Tori here and, honestly, I don't think it's a bad thing. I think I'd be more worried if they didn't at least think about her when they discuss having kids. Even though I said when I first heard the synopsis of this episode that I wouldn't like it if Catherine got pregnant, the episode was done in a way that now I think I'm alright with her getting pregnant, just not this early on in the season. Last but not last, the episode finishes zooming in on Vincent face. Even though he was recovering from a gunshot wound, he looked like a lot more than that was troubling him and I wouldn't be surprised if this leads into next weeks episode where he starts to wonder what Catherine's life would be without him.
Very good episode. This season is already better than season 3 and I hope the remaining episodes are as good as the first four. (Only complaint is that I could really do with an "any means possible" scene right now! Just one!)

There are lots of things going on in this episode and VinCat relationship has made a huge step forward in terms of what they want in their life and how they want to live their life. Vincent reassuring and then embracing Cat after the pregnancy news is a big couple moment because they seem to discuss often about their work, their job, a bit about their feelings but never about what they want as a family. And I loved Vincent telling her that a kid would never be a problem, at least something that will make them stronger and more determined to solve the situation, together. Great JT, this time he rocks the scene! I don't think there was a real break up with Tess, I think it is like a pause and that is probably a good thing for them: JT has to figure out what he wants from his life on his own, you can't do this when you have someone by your side always begging you to take a decision, or to do something that probably you don't feel belonging to you anymore or at least for now. Even Tess hasn't found her way yet IMO: she is concentrated in her new job as a captain and she is in a moment of denial about beast stuff... but I think/hope she will find her way back to the team, to her "family". Too bad that Vincent had to get shot to spend some time with his Cat. I think at the end Vincent is looking to the pregnancy test and reflecting on it... I don't know, maybe he is not sure he could have a kid or what they will have to do if he/her has beast DNA. And even if it was not necessary to the plot, it was a wonderful view to see J's ABS again after long time ... and this gives credits to my thought: we will see Vincent in all his hotness this season but always in situation that are not lnked to a romantic moment

Last scene, what is he thinking?

I feel he let himself out or the hospital and the wound is worse than he thinks. I feel he's condition gets worse and he falls into coma and then we get next week's episode. He could only be thinking about the baby though. Also I feel it was sweet that he wouldn't let go of cat when she thought she was pregnant. Especially now that Jay really knows how much pregnant women need support.

Could be a lead on top the next episode, at least that's what I think. Maybe he's already starting to think about what Catherine is giving up to be with him and what her life could have been like. It'd be nice to start seeing episodes lead into each other like they did in season two. Often they were only days apart, and picked up right where the last one finished. Liking forward to the next one already!

Here are my precious moments for this eps:
- Cat's face when Heather leaves the cafè thinking about that she maybe has to give away something in her situation - How cameraman always show us Vincent's hand with the ring... (maybe that's just me but it is always something special, we don't see Cat's hand with ring as often)... the way he wears it seems like he is proud to be an husband - how Vincent suddenly go near Cat after saving Hill's life - All the VinCat convo from anger to calm and sweet about babies and possible pregnancy - JT face when he realises that he doesn't manage to go against a bunch of grown up kids without being captured - the three girls answering "nothing" in choir to JT asking what they were talking about - Vincent's face when realises that the man was telling a lie about his job and when he understand that there are other people out there that know of him and his power (before they only know that there could be a beast-man.. not that this is Vincent) - Cat's face when she discover that the test is negative

This episode was quite emotional for me. Maybe it’s because I’m an emotional wreck when it comes to kids, but when Cat told Vincent that she might be pregnant and considering that Vincent was in a 'I-don’t-want-to-be-a-dad-yet mode' before and then realizing that he actually might become a dad, brought me to tears. His smile when he asked Cat if she’s saying that for real and then the hug…you can tell he wants to be a father too, he’s just too scared to pass his DNA on his kids. Vincent is such a supportive husband and he truly loves Cat from the bottom of his heart. Jay and KK did an amazing job in that scene and I truly believed them. At the end when Cat does the pregnancy test and it turns out that it‘s negative, I had to get my kleenex box again. My mom was like "why you crying?" and I’m like "I want VinCat to have a baby so baaaad" and then she said something that got me really thinking that we might actually never get to see a Vincat-baby, because as my mom said „it would be like that Twilight couple and they wouldn’t go there, I think“. But maybe, as the saying goes "hope dies last"- third time’s a charm and we will have a VinCat baby with dimples and all. Gee, I don’t know what I’m going to do when the show ends. I just wish to see more intimate scenes between VinCat. Where are the ?? Well, at least we got to see Vincent’s abs. I wish he would run around without his shirt all the time!! That scene at the end where VinCat is lying on the couch and the camera was zooming on his face made me think that this whole episode was preparing us for the upcoming episode next week. I just hope that next weeks episode is going to show us that VinCat would always come together and not that Cat would have been in a better place without him. Considering Brad Kern, he might have gone this way because he has no sense of romance and true love, just as he was the one that wanted VinCat apart, because they’ve got together too quickly…WTH? But I am very excited for the next episode and it’s kinda bittersweet, because as the weeks are passing, we’re getting closer to the end of the show.

Loving Season 4 so far. The VinCat moments are coming thick and fast and are so much better than the Season 3 ones (apart from the proposal and wedding scenes). The scene in the middle of this episode, the conversation about babies, the looks, the hugs, the smiles and the kiss were all TOO perfect. Really looking forward to next weeks episode as I think Vincent is going to dream that he and Cat never met and wake up knowing that Cat's life would not have been better without him and it's going to make them even stronger as a couple. But, each new episode that we have to enjoy is one less episode to look forward to. I hope the Season 4 DVD comes out quicker after the show has finished running than the Season 1, 2 & 3 DVDs and I hope there are hours and hours of extras to ease the pain and emptiness I am going to be experiencing.

Another good episode! I really like that S4 seems to be breaking away from S3 more. Like others, I'm also enjoying S4 more vs S3. One can't help compare this episode to S1's Date Night. I felt Cat's reaction to possibly having a baby was consistent with the Cat of S1. However, Vincent has grown quite a bit. In Date Night, Vincent says something like "we can never have a baby, never get married, no white picket fence" etc. Look how far they've come. Now married and even thinking about possibly having a child seriously. You know V would make a great dad. It's also interesting that again we have another case that mirrors what VinCat are going through in real life. And it's great that Catherine was the knight to Vincent's damsel in distress this time! LOL.

Also, like missingalias said, I think Vincent isn't recovered and may need to be rushed to the hospital at the start of next the episode.

Perhaps Vincent will get a fever as a result of being shot and while he is feverish, he will dream about what both his and Cat's lives would be like if they never met. He will finally wake from his stupor though to the realisation that he and Cat are better off being together.

At first I thought the case of the week was yet another lame cop case story line meant to mirror what VinCat are going through. Which it is. But upon re-watching the episode I'm beginning to wonder if there's actually more to it. There could actually be two "big bads" for VinCat to deal with.
First there's whoever hired Albert the Accountant/Assassin to kill Vincent. But second, there's also the people who kidnapped Albert. At first I thought it was part of Albert's plan to get kidnapped. But upon re-watching this episode, Albert says he did not anticipate being kidnapped and he thanked Vincent for saving him, just as he was about to kill V. So who hired Albert and who's behind the kidnapping of Albert? They could be opposing forces, both after the Beast.
Another fun little thing I noticed is the background music that's being played at that snobby private school where VinCat pose as prospective parents planning to enroll their future child. Did anyone else catch the music? It's the same music that's played during the S2 blooper reel when Jay is doing multiple takes (and cracking up) with KK at the bar scene from Ancestors.
