they are beign so clever with jane promotion 1) they are hugely promoting it, on buses on their website, on TV. in fact people on twitter keep saying jane is everywhere 2) sooo many articles on jane! 3) they have a very very famous mexican singer guest starring in the first episode and are this way appealing to U.S. "Latinos" (sorry not sure this is teh right term) who will for sure tune in to watch her i really think the show will draw MANY viewers for the first episode and if it is good (which critiques say it is one of the best of teh fall season!!) it will do well I dont understand why they chose that show to highly publicize. I feel like they are publicizing it more than even Flash, which considering how well Arrow does, I thought that show (Flash) wouldve been like their golden child this season, that they dump all their promotion into. What I find weird is they obviously seem like they want the show to do well, yet they stick the show on Monday nights, where it probably wont do as well as somewhere else. Honestly imo, the show doesnt even look interesting or exciting to me. I am not too sure that the show is gonna do that well. It might do well for a few episodes, but I think the numbers will slowly dip. I cant stay yet if I think it will do well enough to get renewed tho. Ooh god  that show is based on Venezuelan soap opera I watched when I was 7 or 8 years old!  I remember back then it was a huge thing here in Vzla everyone was watching it, I loved it it was actually good, it sounds weird thought as a comedy tv show and for The CW? hmm interesting, specially considering the fact that the original wasn't a comedy. I'm actually impressed they are promoting it this much, cause it doesn't sound like a good idea for an American Network. I was impressed when it even got pick up, they seem to have some good faith in it.. And someone from BATB is going to be in that show.. Bridget!, is for a recurring role but good for her  |

Anyone remember if the same happened last year? Or with other series? Austin is right, more or less. But I think that when someone wants to buy a series' DVD is not because they can't watch free online. IMO, is more sentimental than anything else, like when you buy a paper book when you've read its epub because you liked it so much that you need to own, touch, and know that whatever happens, it will always available for you to see it. i agree u buy the dvd if you have watched a show and love it and it has that sentimental value i have only bought the batb dvds, breaking bad dvds and movies i love dvds |
