I think it could either be reincarnation or something a bit different: the archaeologist has discovered that the story of Beauty and the Beast is actually based on something real - each generation, a couple is born with the right characteristics to become Beauty and the Beast, to fall in love, to be together and to help others. He has found evidence of other similar couples through the centuries and his research leads him to vincat. Or maybe it's a combination of reincarnation and this  |

mmmm... I have my own theory and don't know how to fit it with the options here... Maybe DNA? I still believe that Catherine has the "power" of appealing the human side of Vincent, the same as Tori has it for his beasty side. I think that every beast has his/her "mate" and in this case Catherine is Vincent's one. I don't know if that's DNA or maybe reincarnation? I haven't voted yet. Maybe you can help me??

reincarnation for me...maybe cause I recently saw Beautiful Creatures LOL and so in it they were meant to be..They were married in another life LOL So um let's go with that!

I really don't want to see VinCat connected by DNA or some scientific experiment. It would kill the concept of true love to me. Reincarnation is an okay option, but it was already done so many times that just isn't interesting anymore. The only cool thing that pops in my mind that could link Vincat would be if Cat had been a patient of Vincent during his time at Med School. They could had an attraction, but since Cat was a minor and Vincent was engaged, they suppressed those feelings. Then, Vincent went to war and Muirfield messed with his head and he forgot about her while Cat grew up and erased her memories of him with new love interests and her mother's tragic death.

I'm not totally against the idea. I won't be upset if they use it, but I want to see some originality.
