So it seems that among all the others BATB cast Max and Sendil are the one who are doing continous works. I mean Sendil has even got a leading role show plus he is also a regular in the "Lucky man". Even Max is now a regular in a show. I want to see Austin, Jay and Kristen also. It will be nice if Jay does another show in a leading role.

So I have been thinking about how the other beasties think about all BATB seasons. I Will start with season 2 mostly because season 1 was quite great and I am more interested to know the overall rection about 2,3& 4 now that the show has ended.

I will say one thing first that season 2 is my least favourite one. I hated it for many reasons. I understood most of the arcs and why they were done but doesn't mean I liked it cause I didn't. It changed everything great about the show and made unnecessary plots. What I understood from the episodes of s2. 1. Cat loved Vincent and wanted to be with him till the end of 202 wholeheartedly. 3. Cat still cared about V but was hurt and angry in 203. 4. Cat realized that no matter what happens she will always love and care about V in 204.
5.She still cared but was a bit reluctant about her relationship with V. She was also hurt about her parents betrayal and wanted someone to care about her problems, that's why she showed her high school photos to Gabe. This the first time Cat is nice with him in s2. V was in so much problems and confusions that Cat didn't want to disturb him but she had problems too. And no having Teas doesn't help because she was very judgmental and Gave wasn't in 205. 6. Cat was so over the beast drama that she didn't care that they were potentially killing someone. Always getting dragged down in beast crap wasn't something she signed for. She loved Vincent despite being beast but she didn't knew that it will mean a life long battle of fighting other beast. She was also shocked by Vincent's behaviour in 206. 7. Things just turned from bad to worse. As if Vincent handler trying to kill him and his out of control behaviour wasn't enough but he had to cheat on Cat and break her heart again too. How much can a girl handle. At some point you are bound to think that you are fighting a losing battle. That is what happened in 207. So this how I conceived the first seven episodes of s2. I Wii post my thought about the rest of season later. I would love to read about my fellow beasties thought.

I just rewatched 411 now. I gotta say I love this episode but one thing is really bugging me is, like they clearly showed someone killed Lars Eclund and if he was Braxton why didn't V sense it. And when Vincent and Cat was at the lab the sensor device alearted them that a beast is coming. So where is the beast now. The least they could do was to tell us that Braxton injected himself with the new beast serum and that's why V couldn't sense him. There was no need to change the plot and say there was no beast in the next episode. Just my thought though.

I Wii post my thought about the rest of season later. I would love to read about my fellow beasties thought. What upset me most about S2 was that the new show runner completely changed our main couple's character and behavior to suit HIS idea of how the season should go. Instead of DEVELOPING or EVOLVING the characters, he just suddenly and without explanation made them both unrecognizable to the audience and NOT in a good way. Already in the opening scene he showed Catherine as a frantic, needy, confused idiot who goes around town showing a photo of Vincent on her cell phone when we have learned in all of S1 that there must NEVER be a photo of Vincent anywhere - leave alone one being shown all over town. In episode 2 Vincent does something he should never be able to do (amnesia or not): physically attack Catherine! I don't care if she provoked him or not: THAT was a no go and THAT IMO destroyed 'epic love'. To me it never was about how good they were in bed together, but how SHE was the only person who could approach him in whatever state of beast he was, without the danger of getting hurt. Even JT had to be careful around Vincent as a beast, but Catherine used to be the ONE he would NEVER hurt. And Brad Kern took that away within 2 seconds and really without any imperative need for the plot. It drove her to start to confide into the ADA from hell, but that could have been accomplished with other means. It also really made me mad that Brad Kern portrayed Catherine as a brain-washed whimp when it came to her relationship with slimebag ADA. He had her 'grovelling' for his forgiveness, because she dared to have a flashback of him trying to kill her and Vincent. And later on she became totally subservant to him and repeated everything he said as gospel, not daring to voice her own opinion anymore, just to make the doomed and totally unnatural relationship work. Which sane woman would want to jump into bed with the criminal who kidnapped her at gunpoint in order to lure the love of her life to his death and then of course kill her and probably her friends (Tess and JT) too, in order to keep his secret. Better not get started, but I will say this: Brad Kern and the CW channel have not done this show any favors.

Braxton was in his seventies and Ecklund much younger, so how could Braxton - without any enhancements - kill him and later on Olson so easily. Also, it would have been nice to explain to us how Braxton just walked out of DHS prison without anybody seeing him (cameras everywhere one should expect), then come back later on with this half eaten body, place it in his cell and then walk back out again. Again without anybody the wiser. We are really used to the plot holes having plot holes, but sometimes it was getting just too much. Less would have been better. Maybe if they had not packed so much action and these endless xplanatory and mostly repetitive dialogues into the episodes and skipped the filler episodes and concentrated on believable plots, things might have been better. KK and JR are always a treat to watch, but sometimes even they could not save the irriating story lines and stupid dialogues in S 3 and 4. Still, I am grateful for S1 and parts of S2 - even though it really irritated me, S2 had its moments full of sexual tension and great interaction.

I was rewatching parts of S1, including the "Alex arc." I'm not sure why I put myself through that torture again. I really, really hate Vincent in those episodes. I will never get over how confusing and exasperating the writing in those episodes was. Vincent was awful! Ugh. He wanted his cake and to eat it too. Even in S3 and S4 I didn't feel Vincent had this desperate need to be with Cat as much as I would have liked. That's why I loved S2. It will always be my favorite and I'm not ashamed to admit it!
