I AM SO PISSED!!!!
Well, the writers did exactly what we feared they would do - they turned Vincent (or should I call him Vince?) into a typical dick - creep! He lied LIED! to Cat about Alex being his fiancee, and called her his Handler. Come on! and then had the balls to give Cat the gears at the end about why they can't move forward? That Cat is just using this as an excuse to "bail on us". Oh, let me see, I don't know, maybe b/c you've been too much of a pussy up till now to kiss her, and now you didn't want to tell your Ex Cat's your GF and then Cat saw you kissing her? Cat was soooooo far from "bailing" at the beginning of this Ep.... she dragged her injured ass out of her hospital bed to save Alex.... I say, she should have let her get popped!
A lot of viewers on Twitter were not happy with Vincent's very uncharacteristic behaviour and with this whole storyline. I'll say what we've said over and over - THIS IS F'ING BEAUTY AND THE BEAST not BATB and his Ex. We KNOW they're supposed to end up together eventually (but please, I hope the show lasts that long now!). Adding in a love triangle is not only stupid, it is self-defeating. the fans know, really KNOW that the only reason for it is to prolong the kiss. Yes, it allows Vincat to explore their feelings for one another, and eventually CHOOSE each other, but four episodes is too long for this BS!!!! they stand a good chance of shedding viewers. REally, too big of a risk to take for a show in this stage of its infancy...
So NOT looking forward to next weeks episode. Vincent - you're a dick! BATB writers - you are also a bunch of dicks for turning Vincent into one!!!

well handler is close to chandler so.... he did lie to both girls... i was pissed at the end scene she was waaaaaay more mature than him, even though he is older than her....and i also didnt like the way vincent kinda is going all rebel when he is with alex, i really think that she is a bad influence for him so... maybe they are going back to being reckless teens oh and when she takes the towel off in front of him in the promo for next week oh no she didnt!!!

Chandler the Handler...so funny! I actually like Alex as a person but was surprised that it wasn't Muirfield after her which means they will save that for later. GMAB Really hated Catherine as the Robin to Vincents Batman. So now he can unbeast himself to save Alex but cant do it for Catherine. I don't get it. Then the writers say that is a choice. Still don't get it. I really want to know if Catherine can feel or sense when Vincent is near? Can someone tweet the writers that Q after the west coast show? She was all in pain when he showed up emotionally and then all of a sudden physically when he shows up and she acted like that when he showed up to the wedding. Well I called that, her telling him to go check if he still haves feelings for his ex. He hasnt been with a girl in 10 yrs and now he gets a hall pass from the women he actually loves with a stripping ex fiance. Not good. I could barely stomach Vincent this ep especially when he left her lying on the ground after she was almost shot again in pain from when she was shot only to kick her gun back at her again to defend herself while he runs off to help the red head. Not good either. Then he confronts Catherine for thinking over or acknowledging the complications and complexities of having a relationship with a beast killer and how she could possibly admirably keep her COP job. Vincent is acting like a 16 yr. old. It was a great episode dont get me wrong but all sorts of wrong happening. I liked that it moved at a faster pace. Catherine has to find out about his lies and his real relationship from the ex by going through her things. ugh... Really didnt like him pushing her in the closet and then lying. She was just SHOT! Did he forget where she was going and why?

So i don't have to retype, here's part of a post i made just after the Valex pic was released... So everyone can say "chill", its BATB, and Vincat will prevail - yes, of course they will - they'll eventually kiss, and it will be an "oh, finally" moment, but if Vinnie starts sniffing after Alex's skirts, the magic and romance that this show has generated will evaporate into Soap Opera trash, and the fans might just lose interest. That would be a death sentence for a fledgling show like this. So hopefully we're all overreacting, b/c if Vincent starts being all "oh, I still love Alex..." poof! He turns into a frog. So, the writers DID go down that path. IMO Vince (I'll just keep calling him that) turned into a frog tonight  well, maybe partially. I think that the transformation will probably be completed next week.... likely sometime around the point when Alex strips off her towel.... Grrrr... Other than the first hospital scene, the magic was gone.... Please someone let the redhead in on the fact that Vince loves Cat too... yeah i have had the pun in my head for a while! i cant believe they would do this! what possessed the writers to do this! is just killing the show and plunging a knife at our backs after the pca win! i was like really this is how you repay us, really... i know that someone might say that they had already filmed the episode but they still new about the pca nomination and that the beasties would try to win it so they should have thought of giving us a reward for at least trying to get a pca when writing the script!

It will all work out. It's funny to see everyone so up in arms and if that's the case then the writers are doing their job. I mean we are not going to tune out. Im just not a fan of the 180 on both Vincent and Catherine's part in this episode. I get that Vincent may have some unresolved feelings for Alex but he sat at that table eating breakfast like his life had new meaning while Cat is bleeding through her dressing. The comment by JT was weird about it being nice to save Alex. I didn't like Vincat conversation at all. I know Catherine is suppose to be strong but she seemed so weak there. They actually admitted more about what they feel about the relationship than I expected but she should have told him to go scratch. That would have got his attention. Guess have to wait till Cold Turkey. I think she has been a lot more aggressive or forthcoming with her feelings (see profile Vincent) than he has up until this point.

Vincent is torn. He is torn between 2 women he cares for deeply and if this was real life I would not know what to do myself..lol. Anyway, I think Cat needs to feel better and fight for her man! She's the now and Alex is the past! Vincent is not making it easier on either one of them. I don't like the fact that Cat is very passive in this episode. Maybe it's because she's not feeling good or it has not hit her yet that Alex is serious competition with Vincent. I know she's a cop and all and she has to protect the citizens, but must she be so friendly with Alex and subject herself to pain to see Vincent and Alex together? I don't get that part. I am also surprised that Vincent can unbeast himself for Alex and not for Cat. I did not like the fact that Cat was down and Vincent ran past her to save Alex. I understand Alex was in danger but I did not like the fact that Vincent left her on the ground. Lastly, I do not like it that the first kiss we see on this show is between Alex and Vincent ..  |

The wrters knew we wanted a Vincat KISS but give us a VAlex kiss instead. No kiss would have been better. The fans that read and comment on the show are the strength of the show. We help promote the shows success. How many times did we all vote so they would win the PCA awards. No gratitude from these writers. Fool me once your fault Fool me twice my fault. Won't happen again unless there is a quick turnaround. Alex taken off the towel. Vincent better turn his head Or Writers you just turned the show into No Class. so bridesmaid up you gave us a good show and today you took it away leaving it meaningless. After watching Bridemaids up i felt the passion of true love from Vinchent and Catherine. Now its gone. watching it again will not mean anything anymore and that folks is depressing. I love to be looking forward to a show not feeling pissed off afterwards. writers need to hire some of the fanfiction writers . they don't let you down.

Silly writers just tarnished his character and I'm finding it hard to not be hating on him for the next 3 episodes until the Ex is gone. I'm afraid of the backlash from the fans...especially ones who don't read upcoming spoilers and don't know there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Those fans will tune out and it will be bad for the show. We know now why they released all those VinCat spoilers, I don't think they even anticipated the uproar this may have caused within the fan base. Upsetting your core viewers is a bad move, I just hope these writers are talented enough to fix this. Because right now, it's a HOT MESS!! |
