A few more random comments after i managed to watch the episode again:
Cat is really like a bloodhound which I guess is consistent with the way her character is written. I know I complained earlier about frantic Cat running around and pushing Vincent along because she was convinced about their greater destiny, but when she becomes afraid for everyone's lives and decides that she has had enough, she really does it wholeheartedly again.
The good thing that came out of this is that Tess is off the hook with Chief Ward. I did wonder last week after Tess was dressed down in public by him in the precinct how the writers would sort it out but every argument that Cat used to explain the situation to Chief Ward sounded plausible, if you didn't know about the whole underlying beast/superhuman angle. So yay, now Tess is able to be there for JT when he starts worrying about his cured/not cured state.
So it's good that Heather is now totally on board, even with the "destiny train" since she now knows everything. I felt that Cat really valued her opinion and once Heather was also convinced of the greater destiny, it helped Cat to change her mind and get on board again.
Ending scene on the rooftop was sweet. I could feel the deep love between them and the understanding and support. It's not the wild burning passion of S1 but they have matured as a couple and in their relationship. Vincent despite believing in their destiny was willing to step back if Cat was still not willing to continue the fight, because he valued what they had together as more important. Good thing she was back on board.
And can I add that I'm glad there were no wine glasses and bottles in sight when they were talking? I'm kind of sick of seeing those props in most of their moments together this season. Their hands should be
around each other, writers! Doing more important stuff!
