The plot is moving along very nicely. I may be in the minority but I'm loving this season. And I loved everyone working together to try & get Cat back on board. I totally get where every single person was coming from this episode. But it was nice to see even Tess fully on board. Heather at first wasn't on board with getting Cat on board again, but JT brought her to Bob in prison & let her read Rebecca's journal....and even Bob is convinced of the VinCat destiny. And he said Rebecca died a year after Alistair by supposedly the same beast that was after Alistair. The point being unless they are together and fight it together, they can't do it alone bc the other forces will pick them off one by one. It makes sense. Nice to see bob, he so much potential, they need to use him more! And it was a bit repititive in away bc VinCat weren't exactly working together this episode bc V is all in for the greater purpose and Cats not so things were constantly going bad to worse for everyone, (repititive in the sense that we already know VinCat are better together than they are apart) but I was kind of okay with the repetition this episode because it made sense to me bc of where Cats mind space was at. She really doubted her greater purpose, so I think it was necessary in a way to show Cat how bad things can get when they aren't on the same page & how they can get when they just want to stick their head in the sand and hope it all goes away, without their interference. She needed that reminder.

But solid episode. Overall great. I hope others enjoy it! And the final rooftop scene was very nice. I enjoyed it. It's a little more than what we've gotten from rooftop scenes lately, except obviously 301, but Not like ones we got in S1 or even some in S2z think people imo are going to expect more. I just want to know why we haven't seen a certain memory that Cat mentioned to V that happened in the roof;) lol Let's just say she listed a bunch of things that VinCat have done on the roof, but one memory she mentioned I don't recall seeing it in an episode. Lol

Lol OMG. Solid episode. Very very good pacing and more exposition about the whole Mythological Mystery, but in a very organic and natural way. I can't get over how happy I am that the story is moving along nicely. jefferen I know which memory you'r talking about. Why haven't we seen it? Why? Why? Wwwwwwwhhhhyyyyyy??? Best line of the episode belongs to Cat: "Don't make me arrest you, honey." Ok gotta organise my thoughts. Maybe I'll do a recap later.

And KK delivered it perfectly. I don't know how she was able to keep a straight face. Lol. And the Cat intervention scene when Cat gets into the car & Vincent & JTnT are already in the car staring her down...lol. It was perfect!

I REALLY loved this one!!! It felt more like the show I adore. There was some religion, which usually annoys me quite a bit, but IMO it was handled better this time. The intervention scene in the car was great, but I also got a big laugh of Tess asking Cat if she'd hit her head when Liam threw her across the room, LOL. Appreciated the acknowledgement that she was acting 180° from her very recent opinions. And yah, can we PLLEEASSE see that missing rooftop scene?! Pretty please? Flash back?

I'm trying to articulate why I liked this one better than many in this season (though I am enjoying the season), and I keep coming back to the idea of their love. My husband has done a lot of amature improve theatre and I've sat in on the end of some of his classes. One that has stuck with me a long time is your underlying intention during a scene. Like your doing a live scene but the word you're holding in your head is angry, and if you're good then it comes through without ever articulating it. During many recent episodes I feel like Cat's word has been 'angry' or sometimes 'driven'. And I want to be clear that I don't think that's because of KK, but rather the direction or writing. This episode I really felt like it was always 'love'. Not just between VinCat, but amongst all the core group. There was still anger, fear, etc. but with the refining edge of love. And that to me is what makes this show so special to me. Hopefully that makes to someone other than me

This episode was more satisfying for me personally than the last one. I loved it when Vincent yelled at Heather. Finally. Someone who isn't going to coddle her. I liked the JT/Heather scenes, too. JT is more tolerant of Heather's ditziness, and I feel the big brother little sister vibe strong between them. I will comment more later. But this one is definitely re-watchable.

Kind of a brief recap and my thoughts: Episode starts the morning after the failed wedding. Bit of a rehash between Cat and Vincent concerning Cat's decision to quit beast hunting. A bit more elaboration as to why she's giving up, which basically is her fear of the danger to all her love, friends and sister. This just seems to me to be Cat trying to protect everyone again, although in a different way. So she does have a point, which really comes up in all superhero-type stories - can the main characters ever have a normal life? Will there ever be a time when they can put an end to all this beast/superhuman stuff and get on with their normal lives? Don't they deserve their own happy ending? So we find Vincent and Catherine now on opposite sides of the page, with Cat wanting to drop everything and Vincent (and the rest of the gang) fully into the need to follow up on Liam and buying into the whole destiny thing. I like that the writers have fleshed out the other characters a bit, which makes them more human rather than a plot to drive the story. So Julianna is Julianna Keaton and Liam is Liam Cullen (I wonder whether that surname was deliberate since he seems to be draining blood from all the experiment subjects...) Loved that scene too, where Cat finds everyone in the car with her (metaphorical? She's the last one that needs to get onboard?) and KK's expression was perfect. Back to VinCat's apartment and the whole gang trying to convince Cat of her destiny when Heather appears - I think Heather was very well used during this episode. Initially when she first heard Cat's reasons for stopping the hunt, she was totally in sync with her sis. She got chewed out by Vincent after that (good acting by Nicole - you could see how hurt Heather was) and initially even after JT showed her Rebecca Reynolds' diary, Heather still wasn't convinced. It took a visit to Thomas Reynolds before Heather started to think that the Mythological Mysteries of Catherine Chandler and Vincent really had some basis. And we got some more info - Rebecca was murdered a year after Alistair's death! Bottom line - beauty - beast = disaster. So yes, reinforcing that together they are better than apart, but also highlighting that Catherine is also at risk, not just Vincent. So eventually Heather comes round to the whole destiny thing and it was a good way for viewers to review this without a boring monologue from one or two characters instead. And Catherine finally realises that even though she would love to drop everything, bad stuff still happens to those she loves. So at the rooftop (and I have to complain again that Cat mentions one memory up there that we have not seen ) VinCat are back on the same page again. This episode brought up new stuff which has my head spinning - so many new possibilities that I can't wait to see the next few episodes. So overall well written and directed. Last thought about Liam wanting to drain blood from all the experiments, but including Julianna and even those (supposedly) cured. Initially I thought this was a plot hole - why should Liam want their blood? He can always use his own, right? Maybe like JT says, he wasn't cured - which leads to so many possibilities. Then again, maybe Liam is looking for something special in someone's blood (and Cat's father's comment in prison set my brain spinning - that this whole Mythological Mystery is tied to Catherine's blood as much as the beast is to Vincent!). Could Liam actually need something that is in Catherine's blood??? Cos we know Liam is enhanced, probably using the protobeast DNA like Vincent. But what makes our couple special? Cat! So if Liam wants to be all powerful, maybe he is looking for something that is found in the Reynold's blood, but he hasn't realised how Catherine Chandler is connected yet. Wouldn't that be awesome as a plotline moving forward? It would also open up season 4, which we haven't seen many spoilers about, but OMG what does that mean if we have a VinCat baby?! Of course I could just be blowing smoke, but it just goes to show how great this episode was - humour, action, moving the story forward. Awesome episode.

I JUST LOVE IT!! hahaha (in case that you want ) Yeah, was a great episode I understand why Cat does not want go after liam. She is afraid of losing his family and friends... who doesn't after what she saw with Julianna Funny scene: The face of Vincent whistling and playing waiting for Cat in the hospital I would have liked to watch a scene with Vincent and Heather making peace after he Yell her Love Jt defending himself , there were... really a lots of bullets Tess and Cat working together aWWW!! The final scene love it... what can I say just VincaT I definitely watching it again, again again
