I DID like that the case of the week did deal with trust issues between a couple obviously in love that obviously has made serious changes for one another. Yet you see how easy it is for doubt to creep into a relationship. Which nearly gets one of them killed. Yes, I get that they are trying to make the connection obvious. But it is still beautiful in its own way. You want to hope that the kids make it, especially after all they have been through. hahahhah you are too much. I thought you were leaving? Cant help yourself LOL

And Cat and Vincent already know each other well enough to each sense the sudden division from him.
I do appreciate the fact that Cat withholds the information from Vincent about Muirfield coming back for her if she doesn't respond to them. Cat knew what that would do to Vincent. Yet Vincent figures it out anyway and is willing to sacrifice his life for hers so willingly, even with no hope of a return at that point should Muirfield have actually gotten to take him away.

Love Cat playing baseball. She definitely doesn’t look like the baseball type. Love that V stalks her out to tell her about the kid. So cute when V throws the ball in to make them think its Cat. The baseball game sub story is one of the things I enjoy best in this episode. She does look completely out of her element on the field.

And Vincent and JT COULD have just run. Yet they don't. And I do say "they." Shows JT's strength of character as well, even if we all know it is because he just wouldn't leave Vincent alone at this point.
And Vincent just won't risk Cat. No matter what. You just see from this episode that they are really just so in love, even with the trust issues there. By the end, each knows what the other is willing to sacrifice for the other. They have to know that they are in deep. And JT knows as well.

Awww poor V. He realizes that Cat is unsure about him now that Muirfield has gotten into her head. It breaks my heart.

And I like that even with the baseball, it is ALL about Cat just learning to be in the moment and trust her instincts and NOT overthink certain things. Vincent opens her up in that same way that she does for him. Again, just another reason why this is a beautiful episode, and why I will probably find myself iced in to my office building. (ALL your fault, Jefferen! Your comments just got me back into the episode and unable to leave!)

V is such a heart breaker this episode. Hes willing to give up everything and his own life just to protect Cat. And Jay plays those scenes of leaving and telling Muirfield to never her hurt Cat again, so well. His pain is tangible.

But Jefferen, that is what makes Vincent's sacrifice SO everything. The fact that he does what he does at the very time that he thinks Cat doesn't trust him and would pull away from him or continue to fear him. He just does it to keep her safe, even if he can't have her love. (I'm just going to start crying now, I am. Just LOVE these two so much!)
Vincent just trusts Cat even when she doesn't trust herself. And he realizes that she is worth so much to him, worth whatever pain or death he could face from Muirfield. And the fact that Muirfield has somehow just understood that level of love is just so creepy on the psychological level of their manipulation. And I LOVE that Cat just figures out that she will NOT let Muirfield make her judgments for her.
And the fact that Cat just trusts JT enough to discuss the whole Vincent trust issue with him. Says so much about how much she respects him already by seeing all that he has done for Vincent. And JT trusts Cat right back enough to seriously answer her questions.
And aren't you just impressed by our Cat's detective skills in this one! I mean, for the Muirfield agents not to even realize that she would be smart enough to find them? They just don't know our Cat and her devotion to our man Vincent!

Love the VinCat & JT fight Muirfield scene. Its probably one of my favorite fights of the whole series. Love how V beasts out just like that the moment that Cat's life was endangered (when she first fires the gun) At that point its fair game. And instinctively the beast attacks. I love his beast roar right in the beginning. I always felt like it was cry or a roar/call right as soon as V beast out was in protection of Cat. Hes letting them know that he will not let them hurt Catherine.

Okay, I mean it. Really mean it this time. Going and leaving office now. Will watch last scenes safe from the confines of my warm home. And then blubber about the ending. Because Vincent just risked further harm or injury or getting sighted JUST to see Cat play baseball! AWWWWW, the guy has it so bad!
(And can't help but say it. Jay just looks so freaking HOT in this one. Just when I think I like his hair in the second season, you go back and watch this episode. The way some of his hair just falls over his forehead when he is worried Cat doesn't trust him! Just breaks my BATB heart, it does.)

Also love how after the Muirfield fight, V tells Cat to go back to the case, that cleaning up dead bodies and trying to keep V safe isnt more important as finding out what happened to the kid. Love how selfless V is.

Like you said his longer hair and just the way it falls & the whiskered bearded look.... just * sighs * Jay S2 is hot, but like you said its when you go back to S1 episodes, especially the beginning episodes its just perfect

Seriously, this will be my last post. Trying to type and put on jacket at same time. Just LOVE the song that played at the beginning while Vincent was out walking around (which sexy as all get-out shot, by the way). Said song is Noel Gallagher's "Everybody's On the Run" and it is just SO perfect. After finishing watching said episode at home, I WILL be playing this song on repeat. I mean, Noel's crooning with Jay going across my screen--literally, does it get any better than that? And will all this drool on my computer keyboard be good for it? Probably not, especially with the below freezing temperatures. (Okay, now leaving the office. With visions of Vincent rocking out to Noel Gallagher in my mind. Yeah, good image.)
And will also freely admit this, I don't care if there IS snow on the ground and I get frozen in the office building, I MUST be hear for the AMP re-watch. Just saying. That episode playing would probably melt the snow outside. This one, not quite yet, since Vincent and Catherine technically aren't together yet. But you just KNOW after this episode that they are going to be.
