Seasonal question....
For me without any doubt it's watching videos.
Of course I have my daily 30-60 minutes of seeking information on Twitter when back home, and RT nice pics or messages, especially if I see CW_network in copy, but really it seems I cannot go to bed before I've had my doses of Vincat scenes.
And what I find is the easiest these days is watching those interviews or videos that some people have posted on YouTube.
That way I have a concentrate of my fav scenes and music, and it's quick and I can watch some over and over, not the slightest trace of lassitude as of now.
Same for interviews, there are some I've seen at least a dozen times already, and I still love to listen to them every evening ;-)
What about you, how do you survive?

oh i do almost all of that ! but i have one thing to add and it really helps me with the waiting ? i read BATB FanFiction

If I were able, I would add at least two more choices to the poll: 1) reading BATB fanfiction (and harassing the poor fanfic writers like Windflwr for more precious BATB chapters) 2) ALL OF THE ABOVE. (Really, how come that choice never makes the polls? I mean, SERIOUSLY, my BATB cravings know no bounds, so I go with any form of BATB-related media that I can get!)
I'd also probably add the third choice: sewing BATB quilt while watching BATB episodes. (Yes, I'm addicted to BATB. As if that wasn't obvious enough as it is.) I mean, I have to be the only person who will come up to her horrid office building afterhours when it is spooky and not in the greatest neighborhood JUST in order to check the Forum for news and moan and wail with my fellow Beasties since my office building is the only place I have access to the internet!

I for one check this forum normaly about 1000 times a day  - kidding - but normally really often at least in the morning and the evening and sometime during the day like now - the tab is always open on my tablet. Started to read old threads in desperation over this now renownedly longer hiatus - not kidding. And of course I watch eps, videos and interviews. Not every day anymore because I've learned that this is driving me only more crazy. I've begun to watch other shows too now - not the way like I love BATB but i enjoy them. To come to this state it took me a little while  . (about 3 months - lol) Maybe corinne you need just a little more time to bury yourself into BATB till you can resurrect.  At least that was the case for me. Looking for new information on the internet - this doesn't bring any news for me because I think I've searched everything thats written or filmed about BATB and the cast when I first discoverd BATB. But I'm monitoring the cast and crews twitter for new information thanks to anna's tip how to get alerts on my phone. At the moment I'm very desperate considering that it takes maybe nearly half a year till BATB S3. The upside for me is, as the next 4 months are getting very intense at my job, that I can focus on that. That's what I'm persuading myself . |

I have my daily dose of videos and episodes to watch and rewatch, and then around the web in search of articles, photos or any information that might distract me and make me look like this break a little more bearable

So Rania - raniamahd - can you recommend FanFiction that fits to my desires? so you don't like AU BATB stories ? ok than there are so many good stories much as your liking in ( FanFiction .net) and i would highly recommend that you start with our brilliant talent Windflwr stories , she posts her stories here in the forum too , you can find all her finished stories in finished fanfiction thread and she just started a new one called ( CHIMERA ) you can find it here in fanfiction thread , she usually posts a new chapter a week like a new episode and during every week me , Victoria and some other girls keep assaulting the poor girl like a gang of obsessed stalkers  thank God she has a patient of an angel i read the story you mentioned too (Netherworld) it is a very good story too  but i am waiting for its last chapter almost 3 months now , i hope the writer posts it soon |

Well to be totally honest I don't. I can't cope with this thing at all. I feel very very empty and depressed, have been for a long time, that's why I don't post here so often. I visit the forum daily and check out ALL fanfiction but can't get make myself watch those painful episodes, especially S2 again. YES I try to avoid emotional breakdown. Yes I can be like that sometimes so I just PRETEND I am not dying... YES I know I should see a therapist... Well I am an emotional person. This thing takes its toll on me. So what I do instead of thinking of the loss and emptiness all the time is focus on other shows, e.g. Moonlight and read ALL Moonlight fanfiction (you know there's so much material on that show that it takes MONTHS to read all!) If you don't know that show you should watch it because you will probably fall in love with the story/ characters. I can compare it to BATB. Besides I catch up on reading and of course, I try to spend my free time with my kids. |

Tenshi, what do you mean I should "bury in BATB"? Not sure I understand if it's a joke or you actually advice me to watch more.
As for checking this board 1000 times a day, LOL. I do check it too at least 3 times a day, and often more, and that is part of second choice "seeking information and bringing support on Internet"
Alwayscrazedbatbfan, sorry if the poll is not up to your wishes, it seems I always make them wrong or incomplete, oops!
Alwayscrazedbatbfan, Raniamahd, Tenshi, I've started this book by Nancy Holders. I love to read so much usually, I think I'll like it, but honestly no book could ever make me feel as happy as the show, no book will ever have Vincat visual chemistry. And I say so, when usually I'm much more crazy about books than movies. For example I loved Twilights books, and Hunger games books and many others, when I didn't like some (Twilight!!) as a movie, or barely found some ok as a movie.

Yes I meant watch more! Though I don't know how much time you're spending on BATB right now. There was literally nearly nothing existing besides BATB for me the first three months! OK I do lots of stuff to get through this horrible hiatus a) I visit this forum very often every day b) I go on twitter etc and check for spoilers and in a facebook private thread c) I watch old episodes or bits of them d) I edit videos though I have not done one since early December and will probably wait till March before I do another one e) I watch others shows I recently watched chuck and orange is the new black and started watching Sons of Anarchy (finished season 1 already) f) most importantly i speak to my beastiebuddies very often (close friends i made through this forum actually) and who I think are now friends for life even though all over the world what I don't do i dont read fanfic cause I dont enjoy it much i dont watch interviews as much because it is very painful for me knowing that we probably wont see jay or kristin again in interviews together or individually for batb that's all - i think |
