Excuse me, were there other episodes before 216 to 222? (just kidding! The final episodes were greeeeat!) I have read all your posts and for me there was not an episode that i HATED (pretty strong word). I, like Yoly, can find good things inside badly written or edited episodes. For example. "Reunion" didn't strike much to me. I get that it might be a trip to memory lane (school for Cat - army for V), then a new dad revelation bla bla bla. But who can deny that the scene of V. waiting for Cat on the ledge of her window to"trigger more memories" or his face in her apartment while racking after her being attacked were not precious? My issues focus on plot holes and so many unanswered questions regarding "who they are". OK, Cat found her biological father, her ancestor's love story and the fact that Gabe was nowhere to be trusted. Talking about redemption much...HA! Vincent- we all know how far gone was for some time reaching its peak with Tori's appearance (such a waste of a role-what a bad casting and how badly executed storyline!). You mentioned the "Ancestors" ep. Great direction, lights and music, fancy clothes and big halls, like a film on big screen, adorable bickering between them too. But this was the most dilusional point for them both. V. obsessed over a gem related to its past and Cat taking on a case to get away from Vincent? PLEASEEEE! Major plot hole. "Held Hostages" is about the beast-couple walking around the city with the STOLEN gem. Dana catches on that but agrees not to arrest Tori because.... she is so rich that she couldn't have stolen it? And the Russians come along to retrieve their stolen jewelry? Or are they connected to Sam? Either I am slow to comprehend or they were so determined to "say" so many stories that they assumed that we could scratch the surface so hard and understand everything. Not to mention that they didn't have the strength to show Vincent and Tori's actual relationship status. Regardless all my above issues, I must admit once more that this show has been my uttermost favourite one for a long time and got me so hooked that I never would have discussed such "bad" moments if it weren't for this occasion. I forget and forgive all flaws because those actors are very very talented in portraying those characters. Thumbs up to production for casting them. I get the feeling that if it weren't for them, we would talk about a different show - and maybe a cancelled one.

Great responses and as usual alwayscrazedbatbfan has amazing insight as to what she likes about certain "worst" episodes. I have to say that I HATED very few episodes although there were scenes that I didn't like all that much in more than a few. * I thought Reunion (205) was a huge waste of everyone's time and talent. * I disliked how Catherine just forgot about the huge influence not to mention the love and care Thomas gave her all her life in favor of calling sperm donor Bob her father. I really, really didn't like that. * I disliked Bob immensely and thought the roll-out of his character (not to mention his character's motives) was one of the huge fails in BATB's history. * I disliked how Catherine's mind was wiped when it came to Gabe. I thought this was the most damaging thing the writers inflicted on her character this season. She could have rebounded with anyone, but NOT Gabe. * I disliked the casting of Tori and the half-assed why her character was handled. * I REALLY disliked Tess most of the season. She was way more annoying than Heather and everyone knows I think Heather is pretty darned annoying. * I dislike the pairing of JT and Tess. IMO, that's fan pandering. * I disliked all things Gabe and I'm still DANCING on his grave.

For me what it comes down to is I love this show too much to ever be so angry with it that I wouldn't watch it. We have the best actors! It's a rarity that the entire cast has such talent, depth, and range. The only REAL requirement I have of this show is that I always feel that "pull" between Jaystin/Vincat. That chemistry is like nothing I've ever seen anywhere before. And you can't make that up. And as long I feel that no matter what happens to VinCat that in the end it's gonna be still be vincat I'm okay. That's why I'm not to angry about their breakup this season. Yes, it was executed badly, but I knew it was only a matter of time before they got back together it was obvious to everyone watching. lyou can deny that pull between you two for only so long. And that pull / chemistry is what keeps me around. IMO there are so many shows out there that have plot holes, certain issues and wtf moments just like BATB, sometimes even worse IMO than BATB but we notice the issues in BATB more so because we love the show so much. We all have an idea in our head of how BATB should be written and appear onscreen. And they are all different ideas. Unfortunately we can't please everyone. Also it is only an hour show. Sometimes I understand why plot holes aren't addressed. could you imagine if we addressed every plot hole? We'd never get through an episode! I've caught plot holes a lot, but there have only been a couple that have nagged me. Bc I love this show too much and I rather focus on the good, amazing things of this show then be negative and stick w/ all the things that are wrong with this show

To be honest, I've seen most of the S2 episodes only once, so I can't even comment on the list! Couldn't stomach the change in personalities and focus of the show. As loca said, so mamy missed opportunities. However, I'm a gigantic fan of the show, the actors, and the cast/crew (and all of YOU, my beastie friends!) They will bring it together for season three--I believe it!

IMO, that's fan pandering. * I disliked all things Gabe and I'm still DANCING on his grave. agree with most of your dislikes. however, I did love Bob and I do think he was underused after episode 8 or so, there was very little purpose to his existence after that episode but till then I believed that he could actually cause great harm to vincat which is how I should feel about a baddie. plus, I also had some sort of sympathy to him cause i felt he was a somewhat multilayered character, probably due to Ted's brilliant performance. I thought I would absolutely hate j.t. and tess and did not like the pairing initially for the reasons u mention above, but from episode 18 or so onwards i totally bought into them, i thought they worked great together and had some great moments. oh and I liked Gabe in ONLY episode, episode 19 I think it was when he killed the witness. In all the other episodes I was like WTF, what were the writers thinking? and the casting of Amber as Tori was also wrong - casting people come on! a different actress may have managed to make the character less pointless and annoying despite the writing flaws

I think tptb know for the most part where they went wrong this season to drive viewers away. And I think they know this is probably last chance and they won't do anything that will permanently close the coffin or drive more fans away. Honestly from here I really believe we can only go forward and only gain at least some of our viewership back

IMO lost viewers are permanent. Whenever I quit watching a show I rarely go back. I have a whole different opinion of people who left BATB and it's not flattering. LOL

I do not expect spectacular changes in viewership (sorry!! it IS the CW) but I keep my fingers crossed that they will remember to value Beasties and promote the new season as deserved. We keep on doing what we do (a huge fuss on social media) and once a premiere date is announced, we are sure to rock their world! First stop: People Choice Awards!!!!!

Actors so good at making us care about them and their charaters that this show would have been cancelled without them.

It's weird though, in the 'Til Death' episode, Cat started to remember Gabe as a beast, and that he tried to kill Vincent and threatened her own life too. Still didn't stop her running back to him. Really found Cat's behaviour annoying from 'Held Hostage' right up until she saw the light at the end of 'About Last Night'. Still love Cat of course but she really let me down during that period.

On a completely different subject or episode, I recently watched redemption again and was shocked by how cold Cat was trying to appear towards Vincent (again probably caused by Gabe jibes about Vincent being a beast and never being able to change and her father saying she needs to kill Vincent). In the hospital Vincent says he is surprised she called him to help but she says it was Gabe's idea and she just wants to find out what Sam is up to and get it over with. When Vincent is happy after meeting his old mentor she chides him for not using his influence with the guy to get into the isolation ward. Then, worst of all, when he is desparate to save the 'wrong' Jacob Sutter's life, she says he needs to leave that to the REAL doctors and use his beast side to find the other Jacob. What a '<edited>' she is in that episode. Vincent IS a real doctor. How dare she. I'm glad JT puts her straight and tells her Vincent is trying to go beast cold turkey and it's she who keeps dragging him back down again. It's unforgivable, especially as that's the reason they broke up in the first place.
I agree on that part ?! if in episode 10 Vincent won the jerk monster of the year award ! in episode 14 Cat won the hypocrite cruel manipulative of the year ! she broke up with him and was so angry with him because he choose his beast side but when he tried to go cold turkey with his beast she asked him to go beast out ?! its like she wants the man in him but also wants a beast on call ?! her call of course ! meaning she is the only one who have the right to decide when they do things throw the system and by the book and when they take the matter to the beast's hand ! so she tried to free him from Reynolds /Tori/the beast control to be the one who control him ? and she knew he can't say no to her because he still has feeling for her , she manipulated him using his feeling against him ! and calling him not a real doctor ? not only cruel but false too because he is a real doctor , he used to work as a doctor and still has his med license and the funny thing that when she needed a medical care for the little girl in ep 1/3 she didn't think then he isn't a real doctor and can't help ?! Briefly in this point all her principles are variable when its convenient to her ! she was even cruel to the sick Jacob because she knew who she called real doctors can't save him because what he had wasn't in the med books they studies , Vincent and JT was his only chance in fact but she seemed to not care because catching the bad guy is more important to her than saving a life ! unless of course that life is Gabe's ? and we have to watch this cruel manipulative turned to a subservient toy to Gabe ? and let him control and manipulate her ?! why not ? in this episode they seemed to really belong to each other ! so in episode 10 i was saying who the hell is that jerk monster and what he did to our Vincent ?! and in episode 14 i was saying who the hell is that hypocrite cruel manipulative and what she did to our Cat ?! that is why when they said in ep15 they both did mistakes that was a sad fact we had to deal with ! not just any mistakes but they completely ruined their characters and turned them to two people we wish we don't meet some one like them in real life ! we were lucky that we even got our beloved couple back ! that is why those two episode S2/ 10 , 14 are the worst episodes in the whole serie for me !
