Okay before I get into this list. Let me remind you guys that as hard as it is to relive the painful, outrageous, unbelievable and sometimes ridiculous scenes and or episodes of season 2 we must respect the forum rules. Let's watch what we say yeah? Although I admit I myself must contain myself from writing a few 'colorful metaphors' during the writing of this list. Please no name calling of the characters. We know what they are yeah. So without further ado here we go. NOTE: Notice that I've actually LOATHE full episodes LOL ..Something that didn't happen in season 1. 23.Held Hostage - Gabe and Vincent at Boathouse when Gabe tells Vincent Catherine is actually waiting for him. 22.Held Hostage - Gabe telling Catherine over the phone that "He wants to be with her." 21.Who AM I - Lame M, they really need to work on the bad guys next season 20.Liar, Liar - Tess constantly telling Gabe he likes Catherine 19.Liar, Liar - The lies, so out of character for them both. (Oh but if we ONLY have known what we know now! Ancestors anyone? ) 18.Kidnapped - Vincent's treatment of Catherine at the club. 17.Redemption - Gabe totally ignores Vincent after Vincent saves him. 16.Reunion - Catherine finding out who her father is by looking at an old picture, WITH GABE NO LESS!!! Seriously?? 15.Father Knows Best - The introduction to Tori LAME LOL 14.Father Knows Best - Tori's whiny butt LOL and it gets worse! (sorry I will behave) 13.Catch Me If You Can - Gabe goes to see Vincent at Boat house to stay away from Catherine..That he's a beast and he's never gonna change 12.Catch Me If You Can - Gabe constantly jabbing at Vincent and Catherine says or does NOTHING! 11.Recipe For Disaster - Tori comes down from Vincent's bedroom and protests about him getting out of bed to call Catherine! This scene wasn't angry just disgusted LOL ( it gets far worse! ) 10.Till Death - Catherine finds Gabe at the dungeon. The kiss EWWWWW!!! 9.Ancestors - Dana asks Gabe how long he's been in love with Catherine 8.Redemption - Gabe at the dungeon jabbing at Vincent and Catherine just stands there. 7.Redemption - Gabe goes to see Vincent at the boathouse, fixes him a drink and tells him to stay away from Catherine WTF?!?! 6.Redemption- Catherine using Vincent knowing what ever she asks he'll do. 5.Redemption - Catherine wakes up from a nightmare and we see her in a SKIMPY black lingerie and GABE next to her bare chested! OMG that scene I still can't get over! 4.Till Death - Vincent gives lessons to Gabe on a nice quiet night with Catherine WTF!! WTF!! WTF!! 3.About Last Night - Gabe tells Vincent to stay away from Catherine AGAIN! 2.Ancestors - Catherine KISSES Gabe in the precinct in front of TESS! WTF! WTF!! WTF!! WTF!! 1.Kidnapped - To me the unthinkable, what I thought and what the premise of season ONE was all about, the ONE thing we were sure Vincent didn't have the heart to do! The PUSH, SHOVE whatever! When I saw that scene MY HEART just dropped as did my jaw With the above said... There are seriously TWO episodes that I can't stand LOL, One I can watch and the other well, I'd rather get my entire set of TEETH pulled at ONCE LOL So here is the list of my Worse episodes : 10. Who AM I 9.Liar, Liar 8.Till Death 7.Redemption 6.Reunion 5.Guess Who's Coming To Dinner 4. Recipe For Disaster and the episode that takes 3 slots in my worst list 3. Ancestors 2. Ancestors 1. Ancestors Does it show I have something against Ancestors? LOL Let me try to explain this, Thing is, that the characters were so OUT of character that it made watching unbearable. Vincent being such an ass and Catherine just going along with an investigation to get away from Vincent even though we knew she couldn't. Then her kissing a guy twice in an episode and then having be put in the same predicament that she was in Man Or Beast in which she had a gun at Vincent again. But the worse for me was the way they talked to each other when in the bar and she was undercover. The way he looked at her and mocked her and raised the champagne glass at her was out of line IMO. Totally different characters then we are used too. That and so many other things... Gabe, Gabe and Gabe, worming himself in...being nice guy, then finding out 'he's in love with her? OKAY LOL And to top the episode OFF Catherine is unprofessional and KISSES Gabe at then precinct! You gotta be freaking kidding me?? I can't, I won't! I asked myself at the end of the episode the same thing Catherine asked Vincent. "What happened to you?" Not just of Vincent but also of Catherine LOL Till this day I refuse to watch the named episode. The other one that I loathe was Father Knows Best, basically cause the introduction of Tori was LAME, the acting could have been better and the actual story was weak. The episode left much to be desired. Only part I liked about it was the exercising Vincent and Catherine walking in to have the talk at the end. Right now, my mind is on good episodes, again cause I am trying to finish a video I've been working on for 6 months now. But let em tell you that going back to memory lane and these bad moments and episodes has helped me see that it was VERY hard to re-live this season. But after all that was said and done and all I know now. It makes it a lot more bearable. EXCEPT Ancestors! LOL Enough said! Your turn

I asked myself at the end of the episode the same thing Catherine asked Vincent. "What happened to you?" Not just of Vincent but also of Catherine LOL Till this day I refuse to watch the named episode. First off, let me say I'm really glad your worst list is shorter than your best list! I'm always one to focus on the positives vs. the negatives. However, the topic of Ancestors being despised by many and topping your worst episode list 3 times, led me to re-watch it again just now. I was really curious if I had gotten this episode wrong. This was only my second time watching it, I hadn't seen it since it originally aired. While it's far from my favorite episode, I liked it the first time I watched and still like it after a second viewing. Let me offer a counter view that might ease the pain you and others seem to feel about this episode. About the characters not being themselves. I felt that both Cat and Vincent were in denial, which led them to act the way they did, having not really gotten over each other. Vincent being an ass, well he was being an ass, but he was being a typical guy trying to put up a defense mechanism to not get hurt. Cat to me was trying to make Vincent jealous when she first kissed the brother of the gang leader, but like Vincent, I felt Cat was in denial and forcing herself to do things she normally wouldn't do to try and forget him. I actually really liked the bar scene, it had a Mr. & Mrs. Smith kind of sexual tension. I felt it showed the two were still in love, but again in denial and hence acting out of character on purpose. Most of the episode had that Mr. & Mrs. Smith vibe and sexual tension for me, even when Cat was holding the gun at Vincent again. There were points in the episode where their animosity towards each other could have quickly turned into passion in an instant. At least, that's the way I felt about it. About Gabe, well that part I have to agree. The kiss at the end was yuck! But again, I felt that Cat was simply trying too hard to get over Vincent and that was the reason for her odd behavior. So while I didn't like the ending of the episode, I didn't hate it to the point where it ruined the rest of the episode for me.

But there were circumstances that not even i could find a positive. If you noticed my favorite list..I actually had a few scenes from episodes that had worst scenes in them. I try to look at the good and bad in things and for the most part I did see it in the season. .Here is the person who wasn't phased by the relationship of Tori and Vincent so that says something LOL Now Gabe and Catherine is another thing...His control over her and thinking he knew what was right for her was too much for me to bare. LOL I also get what your saying about ancestors but I think it's more the painful way they are treating each other that bothers me.. I wouldn't want to be treated like that either way. To be positive for a moment I can tell you the ONLY thing I liked about the episode ...the suit Vincent was wearing and the dress Catherine was wearing. See i try to find something good in everything.

Yes season 2 was hard to digest a lot of the time but I foe the most part believe that good still came our of it and the season wasn't a waste..Not by a long shot. It had its very bad moments but as you saw on my best list to me it had more good then bad.

Ok I briefly mentioned my worst EPs in the other thread so won't repeat here but I am not good at remembering my worst scenes. But I know my worst scenes would be the badly written ones or badly acted ones. Even though some scenes say in ancestors were hard to watch they were not necessarily bad scenes like the end vincat scene or the bar scene. Likewise some Vincent tori scenes were great but most scenes in say episode six father knows best were blunt and boring

I think we discussed this before anapi, but I just found both Father Knows Best and Reunion so boring, and especially in the case of Reunion, I found it a wasted opportunity.

I feel one of the biggest issues this season was lack of emotional follow up or follow through, in other words, writing issues. There wasn't enough emotional honesty and depth, and for me, that was truly out of character. I just felt a lack of commitment to characters examining themselves: what do I observe, what do I feel, what do I need and, therefore, how do I act. In general, the quest for Who am I? left me feeling unconvinced.....as always, I'm open to criticism...but please, don't shoot me!
.....and I will always love BatB and VinCat!!!!

Is that the episode with thanksgiving. If it is I really like the scene with coffee and non pumpkin cookies. I liked the way the conversation went and the one with thanksgiving dinner just before Vincent and Tori beasted out. And when Gabe brought over the files leading to Vincent beasting out by the fireplace. I find those scenes hilarious.

I think you're totally right. I don't want to talk about the worst scenes because I feel there were too many. It's not the acting but the dialogues and the WTF ? things I never understood. There were whole episodes that I will never be able to digest. Just one example: The whole Tori issue was terrible for me. I didn't mind her character at all, it's her relationship with V and most importantly the way it was written and handled was totally off. I wouldn't have HATED the whole thing if it had looked like just a temporary, rebound thing for V. But the way they did that whole arc was too long and it actually looked like a relationship. And it shouldn't have. We should have known for certain that V is really suffering emotionally because of his break up with C and instead what we got was every time he was in a scene darling Tori was there at his place, basically all over him. After Tori died- and he sort of became his old self again- it looked like he was sorry for Tori too much, he never clarified his feelings for Tori properly and all we heard was JT telling him that Tori did love him. WTF? I know she was not too important for him but the writers made it look like as if that wasn't the case. So I wouldn't have minded if he had a fling with Tori but it should've been a short thing and not a 3-4 ep long arc.

From 2x09-2x14 there sexual tension was ridiculous! So many times I was just waiting for it to turn passionate and for them to start ripping their clothes off. Their fighting in these episodes were essential about nothing. They were picking fights with each other to hide the hurt they both felt over their breakup. And Cat was definitely trying to way too hard to get over V when she kissed Gabe. Their whole relationship was forced because Cat was always measuring Gabe up to Vincent and Gabe could never be Vincent

bookworm, I also agree with your thoughts in another thread; the gruelling pace this season left little room to develop anything, let alone examine feelings.
