It is interesting to note that although some of the series' stars from Hart of Dixie indicated that they were under the impression that their show was most likely cancelled following the season they have just filmed, the network was quick to post a reply that the CW had NOT made a decision regarding the show at this time. Then the CW almost IMMEDIATELY scheduled the show to air in January. Which would allow them sufficient time to see the ratings in order to make a decision in May regarding the show. And that is what bothers me for BATB. Although they have not made a decision, the longer it goes without being scheduled, the more likely it is that the 13 episodes of Season 3 will air in the summer and be BATB's last. With BATB being off the air for so long, I would expect the CW to need to see how the 13 episodes of Season 3 do in order to see that the fandom has not moved on. My hope still is that if the CW doesn't air BATB until the summer, they would still want summer programming in the future and would just make BATB a summer show. However, if they do that, the CW would only film 10 to 13 episodes at most, due to the fall schedule starting in late September/early October. The CW now has Monday shows that are working for them at this time. Thus, either BATB gets another day to air (finally--Monday is just too competitive in the US), or the CW has no intention of airing it before late spring or summer when the other shows run out of episodes. Just makes me nervous for the Upfronts when they announce the next year's shows since we wouldn't have aired yet for them to determine that there hasn't been a further ratings decline. the thing is there are 3 slots available from early to late march for the midseason shows and there are three midseason shows so i really odnt think they will air it in summer since there will be a free slot also austin has been told that we will air in early 2015 i am pretty sure that unless sth major happens we will not air in summer

ok this week reign got a 0.3, virgin a 0.4 and the 100 0.6 (first time it got a 0.6, usually 0.5)
safe shows for next year tvd, flash, arrow, originals, supernatural
shows yet to air batb, messengers, zombie and HOD
past few years cw has cancelled four shows every year - last year it was starcrosed, tomorrow people, carrie diaries and nikita at the moment they have two shows under performing and one doing better but it being warner has lower chances unless this 06 is not an one off(the 100) reign 0.3 on a thursday is bad, virgin first year 0.4 is not good. i personally think we have a better chance than both virgin and reign if we stay at 0.3 (and that is a big if) lets see how the 4 remaining shows perform once they are - i think that if izombie and messengers do badly and we stay at 0.3 we defo have a chance. if we fall further we are done and if the midseason shows do decent again it wil be hard anyway just my random thougths, far from scientific or accurate

Especially since “The CW” only has four series currently in development, none that the network have ordered to pilot, yet a couple do seem to have potential. Not to mention the upcoming release of our two novels coming out as well. A third novel is expected.
Beauty & the Beast: Vendetta by Nancy Holder – (November 25, 2014)
Beauty & the Beast: Some Gave All by Nancy Holder – (March 31, 2015)
Beauty & the Beast Novel No. 3 Paperback by Nancy Holder – (August 28, 2015)
Given “iZombie” and “The Messengers” will both commence with 13 episodes and based on the reviews I have seen so far, personally, it appears “The Messengers” has the upper hand as of right now.

The novels have something to do with the series' renewal or not? I thought it was a fan's idea, like a fanfic, but a little more serious, more elaborate.

yes the messengers does have the upper hand and they have even started promoting it. for us it is better if zombie does better since messengers is cbs but messengers definitely has potential...people say it is good and it will have a good timeslot. we shall see... regarding the shows/potential pilots isn't it early in the year? could they not get more?

wallstcheatsheet.com/entertainment/new-cw-series-to-portray-shakespeare-like-never-before.html/?a=viewallccording to the Hollywood Reporter, Shakespeare’s Sisters will take place in 1590s London and will put a fantasy twist on the legendary figure’s story. The show will de pict a young William Shakespeare, who is making his rise to prominence when he finds himself “caught in a deadly conflict among three witches and the most powerful woman in the world, Queen Elizabeth.” The synopsis definitely doesn’t sound anything like what you’d typically associate with Shakespeare, but the CW clearly has high hopes for the project. Already, the network has compared the developing show to both an Oscar-winning movie and one of most popular series currently on TV, describing it as a tale of romance, revenge, and black magic with “the grit of HBO’s hit fantasy drama Game of Thrones” and “ the wit and heart of Shakespeare in Love.”What do you think? This isn’t the only upcoming CW show that will focus on the younger years of a distinguished figure known for their groundbreaking work. The network is also reportedly prepping a drama that depicts C harles Darwin as a 21-year-old, taking a journey through the Amazon with a childhood friend. Both projects are still in relatively early stages of development. A BIG WTF!!
