shoe20 well, I expect things to develop differently. I don't think Catherine will look for another guy because she's jealous of the bond between Vincent and Tori. As I see it, writters are trying to highlight the big conflict of Vincent between being a beast or a man, and which side will take control of the situation. Bringing Tori into play serves mainly for a purpose: to push Vincent even more to the beast side (because of her effect on the beast side). I agree that writters could show that conflict other ways but they were trying to add more drama to the situation and came with Tori. Let's accept it and move on. I think that Catherine will stay away because Vincent is not in control anymore and that will be probably obvious in tonight's ep when he attacks Reynolds. I guess she will reach the point of "when is too much, too much?" Also think what they are trying to show with Vincent's character is a man with a very deep and difficult conflict between letting his instincts take control of his life or he, as man, don't allow that to happen. In order to decide take control he needs a big purpose, a reason to stay sane and in control. And that will be his love for Catherine. IMO it's a wonderful way of showing that our willingness and mind strenght can overcome even what our DNA tries to control. Basicly, we decide our destine, not our DNA. Sometimes I think we forget that Vincent' situation was inflicted to him by others. He didn't ask for it and obviously is not that easy to control. He has been continuously abused along last 12 years against his will and it continues happening (the last one is his handler using him and later trying to kill him). He, as a man, is in a big <edited>* and the new realization that he's not capable to control his beast can't be easier to swollow either. On the other hand we have a very strong woman (who also has weaknesses as all of us) and who is willing to sacrifize a lot for the man she loves and because she trust in him and in his humanity. She has given him many chances this season but it's clear that her faith is broken and probably will reach the higher point this week. That's why she will finally decide to stay away. IMO, nothing directly related to Tori or her relation or bond with Vincent.. Ops! sorry for the disertation... it was expected to be a very short answer!! Those news about Nexflix sound great, right? Don't know if that would affect the budget of the show or its exposure. Is Netflix a stronger channel than CW? couldn't have said it better btw, netflix is not a channel it is an online website that features shows and movies but they have recently done some original programming en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netflixbut to me it does sound a bit bizarre this netfilx thing. but i guess we shall see eh?

Savana_ Dying for season3!, I like your explanation....Like I said I'm good with almost anything, but betrayal in the form of being intimate with someone else. The show-runners can't take me there, and bring me back. I promise to get more on the possible "Netflix deal" working on a link right now.....will post later today! At least that if confirmed would buy the show time to get it act together and write themselves out of the hot-mess their in with Beasties. Much of the "hand-wringing" and angst is about the worry of premature cancellation and therefore being cheated out of the Epic VinCat love story....most want more than a one episode tie it together experience. LOL

Can't wait for more news from you!! Thank youuuu!

Btw... we should remember the show is called Beauty and the Beast... it's not about "a guy meets a girl, they fall deeply in love and face typical obstacles"... it's pretty obvious that the MAIN obstacle they will have to overcome will be his beasty nature and all that comes with it... Just saying!

I totally agree with shoe20 and locaxbatb that I would definitely draw the line at V + Cat sleeping with someone else! And thanks again IbelieveinBATB(Savana) for pointing out Vincents situation! It’s always beyond me that so many viewers tend to completely ignore it! At this point in the story VinCat need a break, so I don’t mind if they will be "separated” for several episodes. Maybe Cat will try to date someone else, probably we will see her kissing a another guy (jealous V-good! ). But I doubt they will go any further. I’ve been very critical about some aspects of the show in the past and they made a lot of mistakes this season, IMO (I won’t repeat them, it’s all been discussed at length on this board). But this wave of negativism that hit the internet this week, was too much! Once it started, it was spreading like a virus and it really drew everyone down in a kind of downward spiral. But by the time they were shooting ep 207, I think only ep 201 had aired yet. So by now the feedback must have reached the producers and they can react (or so I hope ). There are still 15 eps left of the season. I will give them the chance to tell their story, and maybe we will get the old season 1 “magic” back. I’ll save my final judgment until all 22 episodes have aired. Till then I will continue to support the show and vote my fingers off for the PCA’s!

In October 2011, the CW signed a four-year streaming deal with Netflix that analysts said could be worth up to a billion dollars. Netflix reportedly pays the CW anywhere from $150,000 - $700,000 per episode depending on a show's longevity and performance. When the deal was made, Netflix supposedly paid around $600,000 for each Gossip Girl episode but newer, lower rated shows would be bought for much less. I've read different things about what the four year deal represents, so I don't know if Netflix has the right to buy and stream any series the network airs between the 2011/2012 - 2014/2015 or whether Netflix has the right to buy and stream shows for 4 years after they end. The first scenario would probably benefit BatB more because if the Netflix deal only covers shows produced through the 2014/2015 season and Netflix factors how many episodes a show has produced into its per episode purchase price then the CW might have more incentive to stick with Beauty for one more season rather than risk producing a new show. Here's an article from the LA Times when the deal was announced: latimesblogs.latimes.com/entertainmentnewsbuzz/2011/10/netflix-cw-deal-cbs-warner-bros.htmlHere's a short article on Vulture about why the Netflix deal is so important to the CW: www.vulture.com/2013/07/netflix-is-kinda-sorta-keeping-the-cw-alive.htmlHere's a very good article on Forbes explaining how the Netflix deal is the reason for Nikita's final 6 episode season: www.forbes.com/sites/merrillbarr/2013/11/18/the-final-season-of-nikita-isnt-about-fan-service-its-about-netflix/Here's an article about the deal CW signed with HULU: news.cnet.com/8301-31001_3-20127241-261/hulu-tries-to-one-up-netflix-with-cw-deal/These deals are the reason all of us Beasties need to run the show on VOD, CWTV.com, Hulu, and Netflix (if you are a subscriber). Unless you are a Nielsen household, there's not much we can do to change that .3 rating, but if the show is popular on Netflix, they will pay the CW more $$ for each episode. And since the ad revenue is down by almost half from last season, the show needs to bring in money for the network somewhere. If you are an international Beastie and your country is actually broadcasting the show, you need to be sure to watch on your networks station or website too because if the international networks stop buying the show, then the studio wont' be making any money either.

Savana_ Dying for season3!, been looking hard...but no conformation... friend read it in comments on "tvbythenumbers" usually pretty pretty savvy posters...hopefully someone was leaking knowledge they had. Netflix is cutting a deal to stream CW, trying to expand due to their price increase. Haven't given up yet. =) Found this while I was looking...Jay is going to be on "Talk" unfortunatly no time or date listed on the tvguide website. www.tvguide.com/News/Beauty-Beast-Vincent-Talk-Daytime-1073762.aspx

I am among the ones staying on for the entire ride until it reaches a full stop. The alternative seems a lot more precarious to me. I can't wait for tonight's "loop de loop". Back to voting!

LOL Isn't it the character Vincent who will be appearing? I wish Jay was actually going to be on the show himself. Since CBS Studios produces The Talk, I don't know why they haven't had either Jay or Kristin on as themselves to promote the show. The actors from Emily Owens cast were on before their show premiered last year. Maybe Jay will tape an interview too while he is out there, or both he and KK which I think would be even better.
