I'm in on the slumber party!! Great idea, especially with the three week break. Fans could get really excited leading up to the new episode. I think the new promo that shows them together will help too. It looks like a great episode.

I saw something the other day about Psych having a "Psych Slumber Party" ACROSS various social media networks for a Psych Marathon to get everyone pumped about the new Season. It was a HUGE success. Just things like this TPTB @ BATB should consider to boost ratings. These ideas, btw, shouldn't all be coming from the fans. Look at the fans are doing to save the show. What the heck are the writers and actors doing -- other than telling us to tune in.
I am an admitted Psych-O and did participate in the Slumber Party they had last week to promote their season premier this Wed. It was awesome! Playing back fans' fav episodes, during commercial breaks there were the recipes, fan videos, and bust-a-gut funny skits with the two leads. Totally worth it! BATB could easily rip this off. I like your ideas Fire and Ice - especially the blooper reel. Just my opinion, but sounds like the most likely actor to participate live would be Austin! (Added bonus - he is hilarious). ;D

What do we get? The writers sometimes talking to us. The actors sometimes talking to us. (I understand that AB talks a lot to us, but what about Jay and KK? They sometimes do, but where are they during showtime?) Kristin tweets before every new episode and those tweets normally get 100+ to 200+ retweets. She's also posted during episodes... far in between, but she has! Being a KK fan for 10+ years, I can tell you her tweeting period, is a BIG deal! Most KK fans can back me up on that one! Since for a long time she's always been a very private person and fan interaction was slim to none for a long time. Anyway if they're working their working. TPTB has the control over their schedules and I believe most series are completely wrapped for the season by April. At that point there won't be any excuses as to why all the actors aren't live tweeting! ;D

I am not a fan of the tweety bird or FB. But for promotional means, I can see how it really, really works. Especially with the kids today. So jacki is right. This show has got to get with the program. If someone had said last week: The Moment All Beastie Have Been Waiting For is Finally Here. That would have been enough. No need for any more details. Why didn't anyone post this? That is all Jay or whomever should have said and not beat around the bush. Also other shows, some of the actors are shy and private but they manage to say a little something. Again, it's show promoting so they are savy at talking about the show and their characters and not themselves. A lot of time if they are making appearances, they will promo that as well. No one is asking them who they are going out with. Who they had dinner with last night. And if they want to answer that, fine, if not they can politely move on. Ignore the question.....whatever. I just notice that some shows are just constantly reminding the fans to watch and dropping hints. And thanking the fans over and over again. Can I drop a hint......The Gladiators!!! The Beasties cast and crew needs to take lessons from The Gladiators in suits. As for live tweeting, that is helpful too. The whole cast doesn't have to be there every week. They could rotate depends on who is not working. The actors even send messages saying that they will try to be on but they are shooting a scene. That is good enough. The fans feel like there is always communication. It's just the little things. Again, I am not on Twitter yet I hear things. And I notice that lots of fans of tv shows love all of that. ~Milo

Not good news. Tvbythenumbers just predicted that BATB will likely be cancelled. OMG, what are we going to do without this show. They have to have a second season.

Personally, I wouldn't go around retweeting that because, like I said earlier in the thread, there are people who will stop watching or won't even start watching a show if they think it is going to be cancelled. I know people nowadays who won't even start watching a new show until they know it is going to get a second season which of course doesn't do anything for helping that show actually get a second season.
And Nikita's renewal over The Secret Circle last season, just proves that the CW is making its renewal / cancellation decisions based on numbers that the general public (including TVBTN) don't have access to.
Beauty seems likely to fluctuate between a 0.5 - 0.7, which while not great, when compared to their touted "hit show" of the season Arrow getting its second 0.9 this week and many of the other bigger network's demo numbers sinking closer to CW numbers, probably means Beauty's renewal will come down to $$ figures in comparison to the other bubble shows which are numbers we, and sites like TVBTN, can't see.
I would advise people not to get discouraged based on these various site's continually reclassifying of the show's future. I think over the next couple of weeks, everyone should post positively about the show's direction on the general entertainment sites, watch on the legitimate site's in their respective countries, and buy on iTunes if they can afford it -- season pass is still only $24.99 in the US.
With the addition of Sendhil Ramamurthy, the full launching of the VinCat ship, the manhunt and Muirfield storylines kicking into high gear, hopefully more of the mainstream entertainment publications will give more press to the show and maybe they can try and get the stars booked onto some of the talk shows or get more magazines interested in featuring them.

What a downer...that news just makes me . I'm trying to not get too discouraged just yet, there is still time to improve the ratings. This long hiatus doesn't seem to help matters...at the same time, this will give some fans a chance to watch the show especially since we got VinCat's first kiss and it looks like there will be more of that to come in the next episode. That should build some excitement and people should be tuning in. I still say think that awful Alex arc ruined the show, they dragged it out too long and made people upset. Hope TPTB learned their lesson.

I could not agree more. First, TVbythenumbers does not have the best track record for predicting the CW. Second as Fire and Ice pointed out BATB is the 4th highest ranking CW show. I strongly believe with the new trailer we will get more viewers going into spring. Hopefully they will pick up the romance and the action factors and keep the viewers. I think they will. I still think BATB has a good chance if you look at the total landscape of the CW. I am going to tweet and network like crazy for the next 2 1/2 weeks to get back to a 0.7 to shut tvbythenumbers up. You can go on itunes and gift an episode to someone who isn't a viewer but you think might like the show. That is what I did. I sent a friend "Tough Love" and asked them to tell me if that wasn't the one of the most romantic scenes ever. It cost me $2.13 including tax. From twitter it looks like there is a lot of international interest and love for the show. We need to stay focused, positive and act like winners if we are going to win this!! And I think we will--yes, we will have to fight for it, but isn't it worth it? This is the fourth ranked show on the CW, that is not a bad thing. Positive people win, scared people do not. Lastly, please lets not start speaking negatively towards the cast. They work hard and do support and appreciate us. Let them focus on making the show the best they can and lets get to networking!! jmho

Seriously??? ... by the numbers is calling it .... by the numbers? ... I would like to think that there is more to the decision making process than a downturn in the ratings .... so many reasons for that ... seems to me we actually gained viewers up against the final 10 in Idol? .... just saying ... stay positive ... encourage people from the same demographic .... I found this show by accident ... we have an audience that is building ...
