Something I'd like to pick up on is the song in the final scene: Shut Us Down by Freddie Dickson. As well as being a great song on it's own, I really think the lyrics relate to VinCat and their current situation/predicament so well: "If only we could start again, I would find a way, to never have to give you up, I know it all depends, if you still feel the same, is your love still strong enough?" I'm not entirely sure who would have made this choice, whether it be HiTower or someone else, but I thought this was a really appropriate song to a very strong end of the episode. Just wanted to point it out because I really liked it lol! Good Point! sometimes I feel like in S4 songs' choice is not that great if compared to S1 or S2, but this song fits perfectly. In previous seasons all the greates VinCat moments were subtitled by great songs. I don't mention only "Wherever you will go" that is one of my favorite (in its original version of The Calling) and was used twice in two strong VinCat moments (the first ball in Bridesmade up and in the shower scene in Beast is the New black), but even songs like "Find my way back" or "Guiding light" are well sorted and placed. I don't remember a song from S3 and this is the first I've really noticed in S4... it's a pity because a good song could empathize the moment and convey feelings I agree Season 3 songs were not that memorable but I did love the MisterWives song Our Own House in Episode 1 when VinCat were making breakfast and also liked the song that played after the proposal, Ed Sheeran's One. In the last episode, I liked the wedding song, This will be our Year, took a long time to come.

Agree. There should and should have been more Cat stories too. I could think of some, but it's too late for the show. Meanwhile.......thought I'd post this ...... BeastieBoy Jewels ebeline bbatb Good one!!! My kids just can't stop playing this game. This is just hilarious! Lol. The pic reminded me of my one and only child, my 20 year old son, and his buddies who all gather together to go pokemon hunting. It's ridiculous how obsessed he's become with this game- the randomness and weird stuff he now does all in an effort to catch these critters. So we can thank Ricky for the brain spark for this meme. I imagine Jay is saying that line and then I look at all the goons faces and I crack up. Lol. All that artillery for those annoying Pokemon....

I can't listen to One without thinking of VinCat (and I listen to that album A LOT, LOL!). I do wish the song trend from S1 & 2 could have continued though. There were so many amazing songs from those eps. Especially the one where they kiss for the first on the rooftop (frustratedly blanking on the name) and 'Sugar' when they kiss at the costume ball. Adore those songs. I have always thought Vance Joy's 'Fire & the Flood' suited VinCat really well too, and suggested it to Dondrea on Twitter when she was asking for suggestions last year. I'm hoping we might hear it before the end of the season.

The song during their first kiss was 'Catalyst' by Kyla La Grange. THIS is my all-time favorite song now - it has even replaced my number one song by Foreigner: I Want To Know What Love Is. Catalyst actually started in the background while the last few scenes of Tough Love were being shown, beginning with Joe saying good-bye to his brother, Evan going over to the dark side, Catherine tucking Heather in and then going up to the roof....

Perhaps you could do a Season 3 & 4 CD with the two or three good songs from 3 and the majority from Season 4. After all, there were fewer episodes in those two seasons combined so maybe not enough good songs from 4 for a whole CD. I have a Beauty and the Beast playlist on my computer and sometimes listen to it if I don't have time to re-watch actual episodes. The individual songs remind me of the corresponding scenes and make me feel all warm and fuzzy. Also loved the Tove Lo song 'Got Love' from the 'Would you stop your heart for me?' coffee shop scene at the end of 'The Most Dangerous Beast' in Season 3.

This is a real solid episode so far. That reporter has some really GOOD sources..........I don't trust her. I like the Baddies of Graydal (?). Vincent fits in well. Tess is trying to have a life, I don't blame her. JT is still in love.......just sad. Unless they are going to put JT and Tess together, they need to wrap the relationship up. It is too painful to watch. No Heather? How does that reporter, Grace Rose, have all this information. Who are her sources? How would she know about the "Supersoldiers"? The Vincent and Cat scene was so emotional. Even though the repetitive dialogue is driving me crazy pants, they really won't have their "happily ever after". The reality of the situation is here and they can't go back. That Lake scene was visually stunning. It has to be one of the Best VinCat scenes. They both look stunningly beautiful. Jay is so Buff, wow,.......his arms are huge! Nice camera work......... I honestly believe this Grace Rose is going to help VinCat finally. I loved how shocked she was when Vincent did his Beast thing. The scene was like an epiphany.........She may be the one to finally give Vincent and Cat hope. Oh CRAP.............That Graydal guy is there........Oh no.........no, no, no..........he shot Grace!!!!!!!!!!! What? ??No? ? That is such a waste of character. Thank God, Catherine didn't get hurt...........the trailer really had me worried. I always thought Cat would have another almost death experience. Holy CRAP x 2!! Vincent is caught in another net......shades of Season 1!!! Having flashbacks!! Now Catherine kills the dude. Great maneuver for KK!! Another JT and Tess scene? ? Tess wants out, I get it..........she can only do so much for so long without risking her whole future. JT has made his choice and he is devoted to helping Vincent. I find that such a bond of friendship rarely seen on TV. JT, at times annoys me, but I admire his loyalty. I loved the little banter between JT and KK at the apartment trying to convince Vincent to leave. Finally, JT and Cat, I don't know.......love each other too, even though they don't show it. Wow, Vincent turns himself in to Graydal??? Sorry, I think that is a suicide mission. How is Cat going to help him? Graydal looks like they are going after Cat now too. BOOM,......... lights out for Vincent at Graydal. Wow...............I really liked this episode. It had such a different feel. Was it the way it was filmed?........dark, but very rich backgrounds...everything looked different to me. The flow was great........the dialogue wasn't bad, not too much exposition. The drama was captured perfectly by Jay and Kristin's acting. These two............honestly, are so connected. The Chemistry is so palpable in this episode. I actually feel like BATB has turned the page. Everything has changed and everything feels like it is up in the air. This actually feels like the season is hitting its stride now. Starting to feel sad. All my expectations are gone ( can't help it, but I wanted some real happy, passionate couple time. Oh well. ) and I am just going to enjoy the ride. Well done BATB!

I thought the poor reporter, Grace, was doomed from the start. That's the only solution for someone who wants to tell the world your secret. But it's very reminiscent of Season 2, Gabe kills Cat's reporter friend, Beth, and throws suspicion on Vincent. Problem of reporter neatly solved.
Not much in this season feels like new ground. Out in the woods at a cabin was Season 1-ish. Although this time it seemed Vincent was caught too easily. I mean a guy that can move like a blur is VERY hard to trap. Not only is he caught in a net but in the final scene he just lets someone whap him on the back of the head. Where are the powers, Dr. Keller?
I have the fear that no matter who is behind this Beast Bounty, it's going to feel like Deja Vu again. I guess they had already fought just about every kind of Big Bad there is.
"It's a Wonderful Beast" was the most creative episode so far.

I'm nervous.. this episode let me BIPOLAR.. happy suddenly WHAT?? well I didn't see Heather & kyle I miss her .. JT: had a great entrance with the mustang, Love JT this episode even more standing up for his friends Tess.. she is letting her " FRIENDS" aside for a normal life?? I don't get it Vincent through binoculars being rude chopping wood Seriously Jay has become in every episode better and better.. like his performance Cat: WoW our beauty... flawless !! I think she is more complicated now that she doesn't have Tess covering them .... I don't understand why Cat & V wanted to lell her the true to the reporter.. and how she knew so much DUM DUM DUM Vincent surrendering. SO SAD 4 episodes left.... I don't wanna this to end

I really have tried to not be spoiled about the storyline each week this season. I like to try to get the vibe from you all early, but close my eyes to the details. I can't say that I enjoy it more since I was always spoiling myself the first 3 seasons. I do find that I almost like to be a little spoiled because I tend to relax more when watching. When I watch cold, I tend to miss something. I definitely will watch this tomorrow again. I must say, many episodes this year are rewatchable. I have not rewatched any Season 3 episodes. Goodnight all. .

She enhanced the scene with some parts done in slow motion and the song playing throughout VinCat's final kisses.
