OMG I haven't think about that meaning of "remote" ahahhah. without subtitles I haven't understand the all convo in fact because it sounds so off their speaching.. I've noticed Vin's voice going down and becoming more like a chuckle

Finally watched the episode. It was funny.Didn't care about the blondie.I feel like this season is exactly like last season plotwise, I mean remember when in 310 we found out Liam was a beast and than everything started to fall into place.V really shouldn't kill that guard, that is not aceptable even if he revived him later.I think the last scene where Cat face is seen and V drags her difinately implied oral sex.

This episode is amazing. I admire VinCat's desire to be together. They are so sweet and Vincent's patience with Diane... All for their normality! Cat's face in front of that kiss... it doesn't need words! But the last scene is the best. It leaves much to the imagination and free interpretation

I feel like writers has read Beasties rated M fanfic... a shower last week (with some frisking going on), now this under-sheet work... Awww I don't have problem if they will finish showing us all the chapters :-)

All right. I admit it. My mind went where it shouldn't with that last scene. And then some. Because, ummm, doesn't Cat have poison ivy in certain places due to her escape in Central Park? Doesn't that mean that Vincent will end up with poison ivy in some REALLY interesting places due to contact with his wife? (HEEHEEHEEHEE!! Poor Vincent! Because you can just TELL he was ALL OVER Cat in that last scene, and wouldn't care in the moment about trifling little things like poison ivy!)

And hilarious that Cat tries to have an actual CONVERSATION with Vincent prior to sex, considering Vincent hasn't been around his wife for any amount of "couples time" most likely for at least a week or more.
And I like the implication that the employees of Graydol can just TELL, even not knowing Vincent well, that he is off his game and rattled and an emotional loose cannon being away from his wife. And as Vincent tells JT, he is obviously sleep deprived as well, since he can't sleep without Cat by his side. Vincent can BARELY hold it together without contact from Cat, and I love that he pleaded with JT to make it happen that he saw Cat.
As to the scene with the security guard: NO, it is normally not okay to kill someone, even if you plan on bringing them back. BUT Vincent was placed in a catch-22 type of situation. The blond assassin had her GUN trained on both Vincent AND the security guard. Had Vincent refused to "kill" him, she would have just shot him, then Vincent. While Vincent could have gotten away, the security guard would have been dead from the bullet(s) and most likely unrevivable. So by Vincent deciding to strangle the guy, he keeps said guy from being shot and is able to then bring the guy back.
But the PROBLEM I had with the above scenario was that while Vincent was trying to revive the security guard, Cat could have far easily ended up dead. Because this was a trained assassin that kills professionally for a living. Yes, Cat is good, as she again proved in the scene. But given her potential earlier injuries from the whole park fiasco and the pool incident, the fight could have easily have gone the other way, with Cat falling on the knife.
So Vincent's situation has, quite frankly, almost led to Cat's death. Which would have been a direct result of Vincent's involvement with Graydol. And if something happened to Cat as a direct result of Vincent's activities with Graydol, you KNOW that Vincent would never be able to live with himself and would most likely go insane in the process.
So yeah, deaths and injuries are again piling up. Similar to "Prison Break," the death of innocents begins to turn the tide of Vincent's desire to clear his name. At some point, what is there left to clear? Cat is right that the whole thing needs to be resolved, but Vincent already realizes that while he could have originally turned himself in, they are now WAY past that.
While we the viewers know that it is the final season, had BATB had a longer season 4 or even a season 5, the possibilities for the show really could have been endless. DHS should be interested in working with VinCat to bring down the shadier side of Graydol. Because the lengths that Graydol is willing to go for whatever information is contained on that flash drive involves some serious dealings.
So while I agree that S4 in some ways follows the formula of S3, the writers are still giving us WAY better connections and storylines than last season. And the VinCat quality scenes are CERTAINLY better. I LOVE that VinCat are clearly united and can't be divided, even when given situations like in this episode and last one.
(And I LOVED that Cat knows that Vincent kissed the blond due to the undercover thing and that Vincent wouldn't cheat on her, but it is just SO much the woman/wife side of Cat that is irked to no end that the situation has come to such things and therefore must give a little grief Vincent's way over what happened! KK's FACIAL EXPRESSIONS were just SO PERFECT in this one! ESPECIALLY the way her eyes looked like she was seriously contemplating Vincent's death momentarily for that kiss!!)

Yeah, it is sort of following the S3 formula, with Juliana being the one behind the super enhanced humans in the first part of that season. Like Hill was the one behind the assassination attempts here in S4. While we didn't know Liam was the original beast until 310, at least Liam's arrival in 308 showed us who the main big bad finally was. Here we are in 408 and there's still no clue. I don't think it's Graydal, they're just the in-between for whomever put up the bounty. So the big bad is yet to be revealed. But I kind of like not knowing, it makes it more of a mystery and it's fun trying to piece things together. -- Regarding the guard, the girls at AfterBuzz TV had an interesting idea during the heist scene. They thought that Diane "Blondie" was going to give Vincent an ultimatum to make love to her to prove he's over his wife. That would have been a very interesting scene. I would have enjoyed seeing how that might have played out. I could imagine having Cat arrive just when they seemed to be in a compromising or intimate situation. It probably would have sparked just as much discussion as V killing the guard, but it would have been far less likely that V would have gone through with having sex with this Le Femme Nikita vs. killing the guard as he did.

Don't want to moan or be a killjoy, but can we leave this discussion to another thread. It's supposed to be a thread to discuss the episode that's already been watched by Canadian viewers and those, like me, who can't wait and have watched it online. This is the last season and I really want to enjoy it. We all have our opinions and all opinions are valid but I for one, don't feel that the romance has gone. I am definitely feeling the romance in season 4 and I hope you will change your mind, Season 4 Suzie, when you see the episode for yourself on Thursday. Point taken on this issue. I do, however, think we are being shortchanged on the relationship and the lack of passion. Romance and cute scenarios are great but it is unrealistic to show all "cutsie" when you have dramatic, life-risking story lines and not show intense "reunions" between Vincent and Catherine. At any point either one could die and just the fact that they survived would make them cherish their reunions more and hence, more passion. At least in my opinion that would be a great set up for that type of scene at least once this season. I am enjoying many aspects of this season. Just because I am behind on seeing the episode until the US airing doesn't mean I can't have an "anticipated" view of it. So I go in hoping I will "LOVE IT" but so far this season, I am only at the "Very enjoyable" stage. I think too, that the involvement of the actors on Social Media would really ENGAGE the BATB faithful, don't you think? And their silence is surprising. Their view on the episode or any tidbits was what I initially loved about the beginning of the show. But, again, maybe I will rant in another thread. Hope I enjoy the episode........Happy viewing to all! Sorry, Season 4 Suzie, I should have said this thread was for people who have already seen, or been 'spoiled' a little, to discuss the episode. Those who want to stay spoiler free should avoid it like the plague. Of course most of us have been a little spoiled and know about aspects of each episode and in another thread, I think I said I was dreading this episode because of the other woman scenario. I can't help looking at the pictures and the promo although it is always misleading. Despite this, I always reserve judgement on an episode until I've seen it and try to not let other opinions affect my anticipation of what I'm about to see. If others say that it didn't live up to expectations, it could lead me to view it already on a downer. But that's just me. I really, really hope you liked the episode after all and maybe having low expectations meant you were pleasantly surprised.

A couple of points that you raised: Totally agree that Vincent was caught between a rock and a hard place, damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. No choice but to do what he did. We always have to have faith in Vincent that he will do he right thing, like Cat does. Secondly, fancy him turning over the flash drive without at least having a look at what was on it first. It could have had the evidence he was looking for to exonerate him, for all we know. Also, you're right about what could have happened to Cat. I don't think Vincent knew it was Cat coming in and probably thought it was another security guard. He was too flustered to listen out for her heartbeat. Just another example of him not always making great choices when Cat's not around.
