Reyna, you said that Vincent told Tori that he feels more than friendship for Catherine??? When did THIS happen??? I must have been really out of it to have missed that! I clarified my post in another post. Yet, let me clarify here as well. Did not state Vincent told Tori that he feels more than friendship for Cat. My other post only reads as “That he feels more than friendship for Cat”. Referencing the VinCat conversation at the end of the episode here. When I stated, “Vincent sets Tori straight, it is through his actions. Vincent, during the beginning of the episode, clearly is using Tori as bait, obviously caring more about the necklace, disregarding her feelings.
Quoting my other post:Hope that clarifies my other post for you. It did. Thank you Reyna.

Best episode this season and the last 1/3 of season 1. IMO So infuriated on how long it took them to get here. Perfectly good waste of screen time on some crap prior to this ep. Sooo much was unnecessary. Do not like that Gabe will still be waiting off in the wings for Cat though. I finally can stomach Tess this season, Yay!!! Didn't like that Vincat was OK with being friendly. Liked Vincent as the hero and think Cat did too. It means a lot more that people can see him and know him as one instead of him being in total hiding. I liked how they covered and manipulated the She beast. It actually seemed plausible and transitioned smoothly. I kinda wish he did hear Cats rant though and I love when he teases her. I think her comment about coming to help on his own was suppose to reference him coming around to himself sooner that later. So I hope that happens. Still not getting this whole primal thing but did Cat actually admit to Tori that she was jealous before she realized how it was affecting her. I gotta rewatch that again. It kinda seems that Cat really believes something is going on with Tori and Vincent in some way but then knows he is using her too. Confused by that. I hate to admit it but this will be the 1st episode this season I will watch a 2nd time. Overall I'm in a better state than yesterday when it comes to The possibility of getting some romance back. Looking more promising. Yes, it does seem as though she believes something is going on between them and Gabe also referred to Tori as his girlfriend. Again, their relationship is still ambiguous but maybe it will be cleared up in the next few episodes. Perhaps they forgot to cut those parts when they decided they wouldn't have Tori and Vincent in a relationship.

Loved, Loved, LOVED it!! ; I loved the use of the drunk guy.. sooooo didn't see that one coming!! Pretty clever I thought. I could be totally wrong.. but somehow I still think Gabe is involved in this mess some kind of way. Right from the beginning I felt he wasn't just a random drunk! Figured he had the necklace, so wasn't surprised at the end. Loved that Vincent does remember that Gabe tried to kill him before; And that Tess shot him too! but somehow I still think Gabe is involved in this mess some kind of way.
I also think Gabe is a Big Bad!

Wow! Everyone is so excited. I'm glad you all are finally getting what you hoped for. I wish I can share that with you but I am so not feeling it. As I said earlier, too much has happened, too many things were done and can't be undone. I'm not a forgiving person so I guess that's why I can't look past what happened in earlier episodes.
To be quite frank, I can't stand Vincent!! Sorry, but Vincent 1.0 was a real hero. I do NOT like arrogance; I've always found it a turn off. I am drawn to humility and nobility and V 1.0 possessed those traits.
Cat and Vincent behaved like strangers, even acquaintances - not like 2 people who shared a once-in-a-lifetime love. We can't expect them to come back to themselves in 30 minutes (literally!) weren't we all afraid that they would rush the reconciliation? that after all happened there should be a slow coming back? I'm more than satisfied with the way they are addressing it. First deciding not to compete, to work as a team, then becoming friends, allies, and confidents and finally recovering their love story again! That is amazing for me! I should have been clearer, but they still seem out of character to me..... I didn't recognise them

Well, then watch this episode like... RIGHT NOW!!! I CAN'T!!! I have to wait until 8 p.m. Central time tomorrow!!!! I'm still worried. I wonder if I will like it too. Sometimes I swear I'm the only one that sees things like I do. What some people like, I don't - and vice versa.I'm like that. But I see things the way you do JadedJulz.

I had decided not to watch this episode and the next one, because I just couldn't stand anymore the direction that the story seemed to be taking... However, I came here, and after I started reading your comments and found that things were actually beginning to improve in this episode, I ran and watched it! Thank you so much for all your posts! This is my favorite episode from season 2 so far, apart from "Hot head". Yesterday I was watching clips from S1 and feeling sad, because I was convinced that this would be the first episode of the entire series that I just would not be able to watch (I was expecting some V/T scenes like the leaked photos...), but I am so happy now that I was wrong! I am starting to believe again...

Uummmm anyone know what happened to the clip of Vincent and Tori walking, seemingly out of the precinct, arm in arm that was shown in the Promos?

First, thankful I was able to see the episode a day early . I will have to agree, this is probably the best episode of the second season but I'm not saying it's like the first season episodes. Every episode of the second season has been heartbreaking and/or for me. I hate Vincent 2.0 and do not even think he deserves Cat, especially with the way he has been behaving. Now in this episode, Vincent was finally a hero. I still saw Vincent 2.0 but with a silver lining. I hope this is the starting point of an upward trajectory. I do think it is a good idea for Cat to be alone for a while. It will be healthy for her because she needs time to heal.
As for further thoughts, I want to re-watch it

I gotta say, I really liked the episode.
And that's not to say that I agree with everything the writers are or have been doing (because some things have left me shaking my head and wondering what they were thinking), but it was a pretty good episode. Nice amount of action, drama, and 'oh no they have Tess!' moments.
I am glad though that Cat's going to take some time to figure out who she is, hopefully the writers stick to that for at least a couple of episodes. One can only hope.
Despite Vincent's behavior in the first part of the episode, once I got to the end, I don't think I can bring myself to dislike his character any more. Cat's little 'whispered' plea to him did kind of provide like an 'ah ha' moment for me. He's gone through a lot of BS, same as Cat (there's no denying that), so I just can't bring myself to do it. I still care about Vincent's character, the same way I do all of the shows main characters.
Even if I question their choices and behavior at times. LOL!

That promo scene kinda freaked me out. Yah but it really annoys me when they show these clips and pics that rile us up and then never see the light of day when the episode airs...it leaves me wondering where exactly those scenes would've been slotted and this particular one leaves me stumped because it looks like it would've been right at the end when Vincent takes Tori home...like

Uummmm anyone know what happened to the clip of Vincent and Tori walking, seemingly out of the precinct, arm in arm that was shown in the Promos? Maybe it was another V/T scene that they cut, together with those (now infamous) photos? I am sure that a lot of editing has been done on this episode. I wonder if the writers will ever admit that they made these changes, though. People asked about the photos on Twitter, but no one has provided a straight answer. Well, I think I will try really hard to convince myself that whatever the original plan was for V/T, the scenes that were cut happened in an alternate universe...

Uummmm anyone know what happened to the clip of Vincent and Tori walking, seemingly out of the precinct, arm in arm that was shown in the Promos? I would assume the same thing that happened to the clip of her walking away in the alley that was in the Ancestors promo -- cutting room floor. Same as the 35 some odd deleted scenes and snippets on the season 1 DVD. After watching the episode, I would say that people who feared that this episode would have some juvenile catfight or Cat would stoop to Tori's level, or Cat and Gabe would hook up, or Vincent and Cat would unconvincingly jump back together, or Cat's character would be ruined, can watch without worry. I did wonder why the bad guys thought it was better to try and take the necklace in the precinct rather than at the houseboat where there were only 3 cops, and I thought Catherine should have asked Vincent to at least break her handcuffs so she would have a fighting chance, especially since she didn't think he was going to help her at that point. And Cat showed an awful lot of trust in Tori when they were in the cell together. If I were Cat, I would have been afraid of what Tori might try and do to me. Although since Tori protected Cat at the Curio shop, I guess she thought she'd be safe.
