Glad someone came out and said it! Need to watch the epi tomorrow before I formulate my opinion, but I always felt that Catherine knowing that Vincent, even in Beast mode, would NEVER hurt her. That was the main premise of the epic love story! Now, it seems we are just supposed to throw that idea out the window? Additionally, we are supposed to believe that Catherine will EVER trust him again; let alone fall in love with him? Violence against a woman is a "No, No" PERIOD. Most ironic thing is that she tells him earlier in the episode 'I know you would never hurt me'. Wow.

I thought they were not going to make Vincent a jerk. Instead they made him a raging D. BAG In all fairness, I want to see the epi tomorrow night. We have also heard that Catherine has been pushy and stalker-like and asking for it. Let's face it, from what we have heard in spoilers, tweets, clips, etc., Catherine WANTED to seduce him and then she is a little surprised when he throws it in her face during an argument? O.K....but still....I just can't imagine Vincent shoving Catherine; it just isn't him. I know...he is the "new, supercharged Vincent 2.0); but if I we don't like him, how can Catherine?

The point is, is Vincent a man or a Beast and as such is the Beast to be trusted? I think sometimes as fans of Vincent we glaze over the fact that Vincent in Beast form was killing people and always ... always tried to control his rage!

I guess it was just so shocking and unexpected... And scary at the same time. Just not something anyone could have expected.

How long could the show continue if all Vincent did would be to save her when she got into trouble? Just saying ....

Let's breathe...I mean I am the first who is against woman and violence..I think that we must see the episode first to get a sense of Catherine's mind set and drive in the first place..There comes a time when if you push someone hard enough..verbally I mean the other person will snap...I am not saying he should push or shove her but how far did it really go?? I mean did he get in her face?? Did he push her hard? WHAT? ..My other question is this..Does he have any remorse what so ever after he realizes what he did? GEEZ This is truly unexpected to say the least

But...a huge premise of the love story was that, even in Beast mode, Vincent would NEVER hurt Catherine. He always was calmed by her; his instincts were to protect her. Everyone else, well...they were up for grabs; but not Catherine. That is why this is so unsettling. She asked for it, to a certain degree, I know. If he went off on her and "beasted-out" on her, I could understand. But he pushed her...much more HUMAN. I thought Vincent 2.0 had more control than "old" Vincent?

Doing something unexpected, is what makes for a compelling show right? Just when we thought, they were getting back on track it was a punch to the gut!
