VINCENTVincent, I loved you, but hearing your 12-year-old day dreams is starting to bore me! Vincent and Alex: Hey, Vincent: Cat when she saved Vincent's butt: Me when she told him off: -not my images

In the whole scheme of things............the whole "towel drop" was kind of goofy.........it was done for "shock value" and to then cut off the scene......I just felt that the writer's took a cheap shot. I don't really appreciate it. I think if they showed Alex trying to be seductive and flirty would of been more appropriate. I got the impression that a few days had past.......so maybe Vincent and Alex were together a lot and they moved past the rekindling and were ready to reconnect, in that way! Alex had all the pictures of the two of them already in frames. There was an interesting pic of Alex and Vincent with an older man and woman.........his parents, her parents?? Perhaps a scene was cut? Because if all they showed was her dropping the towel and no real reaction from Vincent...that is so freakin lame and I agree a cheap shot from the writers for shock value. Really silly.

For the towel dropping scene, maybe the writers are hinting that love scene between Cat and Vincent could happen in future without him beasting out lol Good point........Vincent really does have control in that department! "Enjoy" the episode hcastro....

I'm sorry but reading these comments make me a little disappointed in the fans. I feel like everyone is jumping to the gun that "Vincent is horrible, he doesnt love Cat" We all know the basis of this series is that Cat and Vincent are the end story. If things were perfect all the time it would be boring to watch. Vincent had a past...a past that had no closure. From what I watched everything came out natural. I thought the writers did a great job. I'm a fan for life. I'm not going to stop supporting them just bc things aren't "perfect." I can't wait for the next couple episodes bc I know we will get the love story thats been developing. I was totally with you in this opinion (seriously, just earlier today, I was!) all the way up until Vincent did a couple things. I am shocked an appalled that Vincent acted so carelessly after what JT and Catherine have been through to protect him. I could not BELIEVE Cat had to come lie to cops for him, and it's darn good she got there, or he would have killed someone...AGAIN! I know he's longing for freedom, and I feel for him, but he was selfish and careless WELL past an acceptable point. Then at the end - I love how Vincent and Catherine can talk so openly, but he didn't even seem to show emotion when she poured out her heart to him. Then it seemed like he threw Alex this, Alex that and would you do FOR ME what Alex would do FOR ME? Me, mememememeeeee So, yes, I LOVE this show. The writing blows me away. Catherine's dialogue paired with KK's acting is just absolute top-notch television. The show has my full support! But yes, I am disappointed in Vincent. Welcome, btw. Thanks for chiming in. We're obviously all riled up around here. ETA: I loved Catherine in this episode. Her emotional problems were fantastic and I loved how they were slowly peeling off Catherine's layers. She finally admitted that she loves Vincent, that's huge. I'm glad Vincent is causing the roadblock between them being together and not Catherine. I hate it when KK is playing a character where the fandom on the show basically just <edited>s on her for such a long time. I like the way there write Cathrine's character because she's very relatable to viewers. Alex is being written so far as a saint that can do no wrong, which will probably change when she finds out the truth about Vincent. And it was a total surprise that Evan's girlfriend is Muirfield. When the DNA was corrupted, I actually thought that JT had something to do with it but it was such a nice surprise to know that it was his girlfriend. For a second I thought Evan finding out that Vincent is the beast would help Vincent in the long run. But Evan wants to get rid of him and not help him after all. Overall it was a great episode. Kristin was amazing as always and hopefully we keep getting better and better episodes as the show goes on. Hopefully the ratings Will be even higher than last week or at least stay the same as last week as long as it doesn't decrease and stays steady. I'm really enjoying this show and I don't want it to end anytime soon. ^ Hear, hear!! Suzie I agree about the "cheap ploy" towel scene. If the scene has no point and goes nowhere, why include it?

The writers and producers are going to have to toss out a big bone to get people on board for next week. The was a deflating episode. I just don't get how Vincent can come back and say "Oh wait Catherine, Im sorry. It's you I love" after the ex leaves. The writers are up on twitter asking what you thought of tonights show. Someone should go over their and unleash on them politely, jive them a little. Tell them "Chandler the Handler handled that better then the their viewers, lol" Just did that. People were like "Writers, it was awesome! I just wanted to shake Vincent". So I asked why that made it good? It just made me disappointed. But to each his own, of course. Its evil, I know... but I couldn't resist. Right now, I think the writers quite possibly wrecked this show..... they know what the fans want....right? We don't really know what we want - the writers know best.. sorry....

Vincent sucks. Cat is going to risk her life next week for that jerk. I really do not know hoiw they can recover any magic with Vincat. It was not believable to me. He got really scared when he was almost arrested, then he follows Alex like a puppy dog. and Alex is a Do gooder. David the shrink is hot. Vincent does not look Hot to me anymore. CW you went too far. You ruined the Vincat romance. I am hoping Catherine gives the improper kiss to Vincent and in front of Alex. Then she dumps him for a while if he likes it. The thing is i don't want him to be with Catherine because she protects him, understands all of what he is etc. that would just be wrong. like i said the magic is gone. I absolutely loved Cat in this show. she was great. Vincents acting was as boring as his realationship with alex. yuck. i feel so sorry for CAT

You know, I appreciate some twists and turns.......some out of character moments (which can be forgiven), but the last scene with Vincent was brutal. Catherine, ....goes after Vincent after the wedding to take a "risk" with their relationship,......tells Vincent that she accepts "all that he is",....becomes vulnerable and admits her faults about not getting close to someone,....lets him 'off the hook' to seek out his feelings for Alex... saves him from exposure to the cops........then she goes to him and tells him that she wants a life with him........and he just discards all that and throws Alex and his chances of a normal life, in Cat's face. It was harsh.

OK, I had missed the first few minutes of the ep (that before the first commercial). And am watching it now. Holy cow - I thought I wanted to smack Vincent before! Now I want to beat him with a friggin' bat!
Ooooohhhhh.....I love the twists and turns the writers take us on.....NOT! Twists and turns I can take. This is so not cool!
And Cat still hasn't told him to go eff himself!

The thing is, in a way, it's not even Alex Vincent wants, it's his old life. During all episode I saw, Alex told him " you can be that, you are a doctor, nothing is impossible, blablabla." She even (if I didn't misunderstand it was 4 am in France lol) made him feel bad about his own new life. Like you were supposed to be someone extraordinary, and now you're living in a dark place or something like that. For a selfish reason, he doesn't really want Alex, he just want have the life he gives away, and she is willing to give him that. But I'm sure things will be different when she's gonna find out the truth. We all know how hard things are for him, but when you're living a relationship there two people, and when it's love triangle, there is Cat, Vincent and Alex. Cat is right, his choices are dangerous for Alex too. In this ep, Vincent only think about himself, his own good.
Last week episode is gonna remind him, how stupid he was to think he could live like that, put everyone in danger without even care about it. He can dream all he wants, reality is gonna be harsh to handle. And at this moment, I'm hoping, he is gonna ask Cat to forgive him for being so immature and not considering her feelings.

Jay Ryan did warn us about Vincent's selfishness, but man was it hard to watch. I felt like they were taking away Vincent's sensitivity which is something I love about that character. Hopefully the writers are creative enough to pull off something major in the form of an apology from Vincent to Catherine.
On another note, I did enjoy seeing Catherine let down her guard a little with her emotions. KK did an amazing job with that. I was screaming with joy when she admitted that she loves Vincent. I just hate that the writers used a damn love triangle to bring that out of her. Didn't have to go that route. But because of what we got to see in Catherine I did not hate this episode as much as I hated "Seeing Red". I purchased it on itunes because I want the show to succeed in every way possible. But I'm never watching that episode again. This one I might skim through just to her Catherine say "You put me in danger, Vincent!" And "I love him..."
Pretty much the only thing they got right.
1st scene was cute until the redhead called... Oh and she better not get anymore burner phone numbers!!! ARRGH!

Yeah the phone call scene was awkward! He didn't want to answer it in front of her. Like teenagers, really.

You know what? You are absolutely right. Not once did he say "I want to be with Alex". Which is what Jay Ryan must've meant when he says that Vincent never denies that Catherine is the love of his life. His selfishness is stemming from the fact that he lost his old life, his ability to help people without fear or judgement. He wants to be a doctor again and I can understand that. I hope he will realize before it's too late.that he shouldn't sacrifice what he has with Catherine for this fantasy that Alex is putting in his head.

OMG - that was waaayyy to subtle for me. But you're right. he DOES keep saying he wants his old life back, etc... I don't think he ever really says he wants Alex..... Some small measure of comfort. See? That's why I love this forum... you guys made it all better... I'm serious too !
