Boy...just reading your comments and seeing the reaction everywhere else...I'm now so disappointed and I haven't even watched it yet!! I have a long 2 hours to see this. By the looks of it, Vincent is still an ass, a selfish one at that....and so far, I'm wondering how in the world he can be redeemed? I'm glad to hear that Catherine finally gave him a piece of her mind...but the revelation that she actually says the words that she loves Vincent..WOW...was not expecting that. And at the end...Vincent rejects Catherine?? Seriously??? My emotions are ......and I haven't even watched yet!!!!!! AAARRRGH...... You gotta stop reading these BEFORE you watch. You're just gonna make it worse for yourself! Its not bad per se, it just...... disappointing. Oh, I agree. I can't help myself though...obsessed!! Me being on the West Coast is torture on Thursdays because I know how easy it is to hop on the net and find spoilers. I'm really getting sad reading your comments...looks like the epic lovestory we all wanted to see has been tarnished.

When she goes to Vincent, she tells him that she wants to be with him and make it work together. He just acts like a Selfish A$$ and wants his old normal life back and that he can go away with Alex and have that,....I think he asks, "would you"? I was so disgusted at that point my ears were red hot and I stopped listening. oa said it will take a "miracle" to feel better about Vincent. They made Alex a saint and why wouldn't Vincent go back to her. She said that whatever is going on with him, she didn't care....she said that they could help provide medical care in remote areas of the world together. They could have a life together.......like they always wanted........how could he refuse? And in the process, Vincent doesn't really reject Catherine, he makes her feel that she is a reminder of his "bad, beastly" life. Wow, it was all so special !

I know.... I feel that way EXACTLY! The whole episode just felt like another TV show " Kind of like TVD (sorry, not a fan) or OUAT (which i like, but have never been obsessed with). I'm not sure how the writers are going to go back from this? I mean are we (and putting words into the storyline) and Cat just supposed to forget that Vincent actutally CONSIDERED choosing Alex and then forgive him when he realizes "oh sorry, i've been a jerk". I know that the spoilers say Vincent makes romantic gestures in the ep after Cold Turkey (Valentine's Day). But if a guy does that to a strong, independent woman, who typically doesn't get close to guys... she's gonna retreat.... we're gonna be at square 1 again....and even worse than square 1 b/c Vincent will have to make up for a world of hurt..... I just don't see it ...... the bubble has definitely been burst. I am so sad and disappoionted. (and yes, maybe a little melodramatic).

I'm sorry but reading these comments make me a little disappointed in the fans. I feel like everyone is jumping to the gun that "Vincent is horrible, he doesnt love Cat" We all know the basis of this series is that Cat and Vincent are the end story. If things were perfect all the time it would be boring to watch. Vincent had a past...a past that had no closure. From what I watched everything came out natural. I thought the writers did a great job. I'm a fan for life. I'm not going to stop supporting them just bc things aren't "perfect." I can't wait for the next couple episodes bc I know we will get the love story thats been developing.

I loved Catherine in this episode. Her emotional problems were fantastic and I loved how they were slowly peeling off Catherine's layers. She finally admitted that she loves Vincent, that's huge.
I'm glad Vincent is causing the roadblock between them being together and not Catherine. I hate it when KK is playing a character where the fandom on the show basically just <edited>s on her for such a long time. I like the way there write Cathrine's character because she's very relatable to viewers.
Alex is being written so far as a saint that can do no wrong, which will probably change when she finds out the truth about Vincent.
And it was a total surprise that Evan's girlfriend is Muirfield. When the DNA was corrupted, I actually thought that JT had something to do with it but it was such a nice surprise to know that it was his girlfriend. For a second I thought Evan finding out that Vincent is the beast would help Vincent in the long run. But Evan wants to get rid of him and not help him after all.
Overall it was a great episode. Kristin was amazing as always and hopefully we keep getting better and better episodes as the show goes on. Hopefully the ratings Will be even higher than last week or at least stay the same as last week as long as it doesn't decrease and stays steady. I'm really enjoying this show and I don't want it to end anytime soon.

jenniel03 ; honestly i am still a fan and that doesnt mean that i will stop watching the show. personally i know that they will end up together and i dont want everything to be perfect between them! that would be boring and not the point of the show. the thing is that i honestly dont like the way that the writers did these 2 episodes and think that the situation could have been handled differently... just saying

But IMO the writers could have presented it differently, so that Vincent is torn without being a jerk. Example - He keeps letting Alex call Cat his handler. That is not acceptable, in any world. He doesn't have the balls to tell Alex that Cat is (or was) his GF, but that maybe, just maybe, he might want to take what Alex is offering. The world isn't perfect. We deal with imperfecft $hit everyday. Personally, I watch TV to get away from all that. Maybe others don't. Just saying.

Looks like when Catherine finally opens up a bit and tells Vincent her feelings, he totally ignores that and is all "me, me, me"...UGH. Vincent is delusional. After all this crap that he's put Catherine through so far, I really hope she doesn't take him back so easily...and that's why I don't see a kiss happening on that Valentine's day eppy. I see Vincent groveling (as he damn well should be) to gain some of Catherine's affections back. Really disappointed how the Valex arc is going....Vincent is really pissing me off. And I agree SuzieQ, if all Vincent sees when he looks at Catherine is a reminder of his "beast"...then wtf kind of epic love is that?? Perhaps Vincent needs to see a shrink...he is still in denial of who he is and is delusional enough to think he can just move on with Alex and sweep all that other stuff under the rug. And the fact that he spits on the sacrifices that Catherine/JT have done for him keeping his secret really irks me too. Counting down the minutes now....

In the whole scheme of things............the whole "towel drop" was kind of goofy.........it was done for "shock value" and to then cut off the scene......I just felt that the writer's took a cheap shot. I don't really appreciate it. I think if they showed Alex trying to be seductive and flirty would of been more appropriate. I got the impression that a few days had past.......so maybe Vincent and Alex were together a lot and they moved past the rekindling and were ready to reconnect, in that way!
Alex had all the pictures of the two of them already in frames. There was an interesting pic of Alex and Vincent with an older man and woman.........his parents, her parents??

The writers and producers are going to have to toss out a big bone to get people on board for next week. The was a deflating episode. I just don't get how Vincent can come back and say "Oh wait Catherine, Im sorry. It's you I love" after the ex leaves. What is even more annoying is that we will have Vincent still debating on telling Alex 2 episodes from now too. Talk about drawn out.. What's up with that? I am looking forward to the explosion in the promo. Looks like someone throws pipe bomb or something. Maybe Cat risks her life for him literally and this snaps Vincent back to reality. Like I can't lose her. She looks like she is blown back, perhaps knocked out. Not sure how Vincat can come back from this. I'm guessing she will decide to be his friend to opt out of the complications and rejection and she will help him because she loves him but relationship would be to hard adn then we have to sit through all the other possible suitors they will string out over the course of the rest of the season for Cat while Vincent gets jealous. Hope I'm wrong. The writers are up on twitter asking what you thought of tonights show. Someone should go over their and unleash on them politely, jive them a little. Tell them "Chandler the Handler handled that better then the their viewers, lol"

For the towel dropping scene, maybe the writers are hinting that love scene between Cat and Vincent could happen in future without him beasting out lol

How did we get from the romantic dance to this in just 2 episodes? SMH at the writers.
