I think the therapist is hot too! CW sure knows how to pick them don't they? LOL

I finally saw the episode. I was surprised that Catherine was talking so openly to the therapist about her boyfriend. I guess she knew how things worked and that it was all confidential. I too agree with many that it sure looks as if Vincent has changed some. At the beginning, he realizes that JT and Catherine has sacrificed and worked hard to help him. Yet, he asked Catherine at the end what she is willing to do. Hello!!! Where did that come from. Just because Alex has decided to run away with him. Tell her the real truth about yourself Vincent. Tell her your secret and then see if she is willing to go. By the way debbyts, the therapist is HOT! I kept looking at him up and down. He is familiar. ~Milo I keep seeing the therapist from when he was on LIE TO ME. I wasn't fond of him then, and unfortunately that distrust has followed him to this show too. I'm hoping he grows on me...

maybe a table or flow chart will help yeah and the bad part is that maybe we can add people as good and end up surprising as as bad, like for most people when claire ended up being murfield (which i dont know why but i already knew!)

I knew since I read the synopsis for On Thin Ice about two weeks ago, I called it..just gut feeling I guess.

The therapist is too good looking. Anyone think there's a chance he might go after Catherine?
I love the beginning of this episode where Vincent shows up and helps her with the stretching etc. The way to talk to each other...the body language and usage of words...someone that is watching BATB the first time would think they are actually a couple.
In my mind, I already assumed they are a couple.....but with obstacles between them that prevented them from being together, together.
Beasties, one more sleep! 2 more episodes... no more Alex. lol

I loved that Vincent came over to Cat's place too my2girls. But he didn't say much with all that cell phone ringing. And when Cat said, "It's none of my business," looks like he took off.
Where did he come from by the way? He didn't come thru the front door. Was that a side door?
I loved it when JT said, "You got two hot girls fighting for you."
Yeah how does a fellow who is suppose to be dead does that?
I can't wait till Alex is gone.
The actress is very attractive by the way. Love her long full red hair. First time I have seen her in anything. But the character needs to go. I don't want a love triangle.

I'm surprised no one talked about the vincat scene where Cat is doing some exercises in her apartment after the accident and Vincent comes in and helps her with the stretches. I really loved that scene. I can't remember if it was this epi or in cold turkey, but I think it was this one. When Kristin turned around to put her weight down, you see Jay was checking out her behind for a split second. Anyone else notice this?

I'm not sure how much time has passed between “Seeing Red” and “On Thin Ice,” but my best guess is maybe two weeks. I’m also not sure how much time Vincent has been spending with Catherine, but it’s fairly obvious that Alex has been doing everything in her power to stay in Vincent’s orbit. She’s even wheedled his burner number out of him and I’ll bet she’s wearing that puppy out. Still, judging by Catherine’s cordial attitude, he’s either putting in enough face time to keep her from shutting him out or she’s merely being gracious and taking the high road. I can’t decide which.
Vincent is torn in a big way and not seeing clearly. He desperately wants his old life back—to be plain old Vinnie Keller—and as much as Vincent longs for his old life, Alex is even more desperate. But while Alex is desperate to have her old life WITH Vincent back, Vincent is less about having his old life back with Alex and more about being able to do the things he used to do: practice medicine, hang out with his friends, be secret-free and normal. While Alex can’t seem to wrap her head around the fact that a decade changes things (people, feelings, etc.) Vincent has by necessity. He did not spend TEN years mooning over Alex.
As crazy as Alex acts, she does seem to realize that Vincent isn’t falling all over her. His love (by admission) is past tense. While Alex says she’s in love, Vincent says he LOVED. So she’s relentless in pushing his buttons and dangling the prospect of a normal life somewhere else in front of him at every turn. The bells would have gone off in any self-respecting woman’s head if she wasn’t in his arms once that towel hit the floor. But Alex is not on speaking terms with self-respect, plus she had another plan; play on Vincent’s longing to practice medicine again.
Meanwhile, Catherine is venting to her therapist and I couldn’t help but feel her anger, frustration and hurt. Even though she feels that she’s losing the battle for Vincent’s heart, Catherine continues to put herself “out there” for him. She even admits out loud that she loves him and tells him that she’s willing to fight for him, but by this time Vincent has drank deeply from the “normal life” fantasy and is seriously considering running away with Alex. Vincent was no longer in love with Alex, but she offered possibilities and freedom. He loved Catherine, but a life with her meant hiding, keeping secrets and playing dead. Their relationship would continue to complicate her life.
I loved the scene where Catherine laid into Vincent after he was almost arrested. There wasn’t anything he could say to her and I laughed at his dumbstruck expression when Cat stormed off. As for Alex, I thought she looked annoyed that Vincent had called Catherine, then kept her cooling her heels while he and Catherine talked. I think she realized that the tension between them was not that between a handler and her charge; it was personal.
The skating rink scene didn’t annoy me. Actually, it was a fun scene and without it we would not have gotten the Vincent smack down by a tiny detective. The last scene was sad. Catherine basically told Vincent that she loved him and he just left her hanging there. He was selfish and that’s understandable, but deep down he had to know how Alex would react to the truth about his condition. He knew her very well; he knew she was not strong enough for a complicated relationship. She would always be leaning on him for strength and protection and manipulating the situation. That’s why I believe he wasn’t able to tell her about himself. Vincent knew deep down inside that the ship had sailed on a “normal” life for him.
Good or bad, Vincent and Catherine have always been honest with each other. They’ve always acted in the best interest of the other and they are deeply in love with each other. And that’s why, other than being lame, Alex never bothered me. She didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of coming between Vincent and Catherine.

i dont' know why i torture my shipper heart by watching the 3 episodes of the triangle mess again but i did. i just wanna point out that when Alex get all <edited>ty with the towel dropping scene, Vincent's reaction was pure WTF, all over his face LMFAO i guess its a good thing LOL. and keep in mind that this guy hasn't seen any for like what, good 10-11 years..?? and he didn't like it at all haha ;D and i swear i can imagine if he does his classic sneaking up on Cat's bedroom and at that time she has just finish taking a shower and wearing only a towel with wet hair and all i bet his reaction would be like the one when he saw Cat in her dress in the Pilot and also in her LBD in Bridesmaid Up. and he would try to look innocent and we get to see his fail attempt at looking anywhere but Cat LOL. idk why i randomly thought about this. don't jump at me eh
