LOL, you are so funny Milo. I totally agree with you. Both are so comfortable with one another, why not put in a little kiss here or there. Definitely see where you are coming from regarding the missed opportunities. Really hoping for a kiss in episode 13, for one it will be Valentine’s Day. Second, the ex will be gone and the ADA will not be making his debut until episode 15. For the writers to torture us until episodes 16-22, that would just be so wrong. You know I will still make my case. HA!!!
This Valentine Day thing sounds good. Watch them not want to write a Valentine's Day theme episode. I just looked and saw that Valentine's Day is on a Thursday. It would be perfect.
~MiloI'll be on the "Kiss Bandwagon" with you Milo if we don't get a kiss by episode 15!! I think that gives them plenty of time to build up to the Big Kiss! And it better be worth it!! ;D ;D Valentine's Day would be ideal ....you are right! Maybe that is why the writer's are waiting....hmmmm!

Yes, Valentine's Day would be good.
Watch them not do it.
I hear writers of TV show are getting sick and tired of fans telling them what to do. How to write the shows. You can imagine in today's world it can be overwhelming and a bit of bombardment.
Some of these writers don't want to do what we tell them. HA!

HA! ~Milo Milo, I've heard some writers get annoyed when fans act like they know better...that being said, I think the writers know what they are doing to everyone when they keep withholding the kiss!!! I get that the writers have a plan and an idea of how everything should work out, but seriously! Time for the kiss. If it takes a few more episodes, so it lands on Valentine's Day, ok. But I don't want to wait until the end of the season or the season finale for this kiss. They need to seriously speed things up. Vincent and Cat may be guarded, but they don't come across that guarded. Seriously. They constantly touch each other and flirt. Vincent saw in the dating profile and Cat has practically smacked him in the head with her "you're not fake" and "I just got his last name wrong" stuff. Come on, Vincent! If Valentine's Day's episode has a kiss, I will be happy. If instead Vincent and Cat are all mopey about Valentine's Day because everyone seems to have someone and they can't express their love, I will probably yell at my screen that no one can be that stupid. Seriously. Vincent has practically stalked the girl for a decade; he likes her. The dating profile showed him that she felt the same, along with everything else. From the promo clip in the hospital if Cat is indeed talking to Vincent (and this isn't some strange hallucination or psych out by the writers), then they will know they have feelings for each other. There is no "I'm unsure" anymore; they know, and the next move is for them to kiss. Then the writers can torture us by holding off on the "L" word or something. Basically, I am ready for them to kiss.

Fire and Ice - Shonda Rhimes said that she don't like the fans dictating. She was on Oprah. Talking professionally of course. But she made it sound like she ended one of her shows because she had no room to grow. Fans were all up in her face.
And I have heard other writers say that they don't read any of the fan suggestions. They want a clear mind and blah, blah, blah.
I understand. But TV is not like before. Now it can get ugly if you don't give the fans what they want.
I agree with you about the Valentine idea. But I am not going to get myself worked up. Not yet at least. I still say they MISSED AN OPPORTUNITY in this episode. It's obvious that the writers don't want to do things the obvious way. They want to throw us off. And I don't say "Suprise Me" from time to time. But if they start to go around the romance and keep it on the back burner. I AM OUT!!!!!

Obstacles will always be thrown at VinCat, yet, it is a matter how VinCat handle those obstacles as a couple. BATB is indeed a drama series; yet, it seems the writers want to focus more on the case of the week, then on the romantic aspects of the series. This is way so many of us are frustrated and attempt to voice our concerns to the writers.

Mainly because these days most of the fans or let's just say the people who watches TV think they are professionals. Everyone is writing critics about movies, everyone thinks he/she is a writer or knows what makes a movie good etc. Just because you have a place, like internet, where you can say whatever you want, it doesn't make you an expert of everything. I say leave to the professionals who knows what they are doing. As a writer, in my opinion, you can't satisfy every single viewer that's why I think is quite stupid to make demands toward them...

When it comes to Catherine's speech at the wedding..I sensed the writers were writing it as though she was talking about her and Vincent..Did I mistake that? My imagination? LOL

Here is her speech just in case... Hi. Um, for those of you who don't know me, I'm Catherine Chandler. Um, I'm my dad's daughter. His oldest daughter. Um... Okay, I wrote this speech, like, a week ago. And... seeing the way that my dad and Brooke look at each other, it... sums up more than these four pages can. Um... You know, the funny thing is, is that... Brooke and my dad shouldn't even be together. No, it... it's true, you know? For starters, they are complete opposites. And not to mention, she is a Mets fan, so... I don't know how they're gonna deal with that. And then there's the age difference. And for a lot of people, that would have held them back. Especially... given everything we've been through. Not that being with Brooke is a risk. It's not. She's... she is amazing. But... it's just being in any relationship is that it-it's a... it's a risk. It's... it's accepting that there are no guarantees. I mean, who knows what the future brings, and-and... going for it, anyway. Even if she is a vegan, and he eats cheeseburgers. So... to my dad and Brooke... for jumping in. You guys are an inspiration. Especially to me. Okay. Cheers!I think you are right, Yolanda! The bold part of her speech is definitely in line with how she feels about her and Vincent.

There is a difference between making demands and voicing your concerns. When fans begin losing interest, the show ends and goes straight to DVD. Now, I understand the reasoning behind the writers delaying certain things, yet at the same, the writers need to maintain the interest of their audience.

Ok, I'm sorry if I used a wrong word, that seemed to be too harsh (demand). Again, English is not my native language, sometimes it's hard to express what you really want to say. I just meant that the professional writers probably know how a story needs to be built up, without the fans/viewers telling them...

Yet, I think most of us want the writers to give BATB the right kind of blend. More specifically, if the writers were to focus on the romantic aspects of series at least 50-60% of the time, us beasties would probably be more than content with that. After Bridesmaid Up, VinCat practically established themselves as a couple. Now it is time for the writers to focus on their relationship, despite whatever obstacles they encounter.

Valentine's Day would be the perfect opportunity for the VinCat to have their first kiss and I hope it happens!! I too will be very upset if the writers decide to wait until the end of the season for a kiss..there are no guarantees of a 2nd season right now and I want to see more progress in this relationship especially since they are going to start bringing in all these new characters in the next few months.
