I'd be happy if they just brought Muirfield back as the big bad for S4 and tie up the loose ends from S1. I didn't mind the story lines of S2 or S3, they were fine for me. While neither season could really compare to S1, I enjoyed S2 and S3 very much. The love triangles in S1 & S2 never really bothered me. In fact, it made VinCat getting together (and back together) that much better. The lack of VinCat passion in S3 is what bothered me most. This is one of the reasons I'm against the VinCat baby story line. I'm afraid it will detract from the romance and passion, and would put VinCat's focus on the baby instead of each other. They need to have that honeymoon period and grow as married couple, not rush to have a child. If they can bring back the epic VinCat love in S4 and bring closure to their story, I'll be a happy camper. I don't know about a bitter sweet ending, maybe if it's done right, where one sacrifices for the other or something really noble & epic. Still, I don't know if I'd recover. (I've still not recovered from Clark and Lana not ending up together in Smallville.) I think I'd take pippin's rewrite of the "it was a dream" ending over the tragic death of Catherine ending. That one seems just too sad. Would you be less sad if it was Vincent who died? Personally, I'd pick Catherine over Vincent partially cuz I think we've seen enough of C having to grieve over V so at least it would be different if that was reversed.

I'd still be sad, I want a happily ever after ending. Of the two deaths, I'd prefer a Cat death over a Vincent death. Cat has lost so many people in her life (on screen) and we know KK is a beautiful crier. So I agree that Cat's death would shake things up, Vincent would be totally lost without her and would no doubt lose his humanity forever. But either way, it's too sad for me. I want a happy ending.

We've seen what KK can do when it comes to showing her character's anguish. I'd like Jay to have a chance to go there as well. Besides, we can't end the series with Vincent having shown more grief for Tori than he ever has for Cat or showing more emotion over the thought that JT was killed than Cat so even if we don't get that kind of ending, I'm hoping somewhere in S4 we get that scenario. At this point, if they are going to kill anyone, I want it to be either C or V otherwise the focus isn't on them, which means if they kill anyone, it will probably be JT. LOL Anyway, casting for the last episode is underway. Shooting should start on November 4 and if the IATSE date is correct, the last day of shooting will be Nov. 13.

I absolutely do NOT want anybody of the major four killed off in S4. Please let there be rainbows and unicorns and happiness at the very end. ' pippin' did you not give us a script tease about Vincent looking for his wife? So, maybe we can see some angst and anguish on Vincent's part in THAT set-up. Besides, I have decided (strictly for myself of course) that Vincent did not mourn Tori's death, because he loved her, but because he did NOT LOVE her and felt guilty for making her try even harder to win him back and thereby got herself killed. So, he was not grief-stricken but guilt-ridden.

Crying over here too, but I'll share my tissues with you BeastieBoy On the other hand 'Au revoir' means until we see each other again. Who knows, maybe they could make some follow-up episodes later, like they did for Stargate and Farscape. They could tie up so many lose ends or show us the future of our couple? Just dreaming and hoping.....

I can't help but have a "bittersweet" type of feeling about this title. I have said before, it would not surprise me if Catherine or Vincent's dies......and my thoughts would be Catherine. If there is a VinCat child, then it would make sense if Vincent is the one who lives because the chance the child becomes a Beast. Vincent could deal with the growing pains of an uncontrolled Beast child. I am sure Catherine, with her Beast calming skills, could care for a child, but it would be dangerous for her. My thoughts, the child would be a girl.............and she would be the splitting image of Cat. It would give Vincent the will to go on without Cat if he had to raise and protect the child. This is how I am preparing for the end. I can't believe they will leave this show all hearts and rainbows. If Brad Kern is writing it, I think he will want pull those heartstrings. As much as I want a "happily ever after", I don't think it will happen. Vincent and Catherine have always had complicated lives........do they deserve a happy ending, yes, ........but it would too much of a whitewash. I do want a Happy Ending for both Vincent and Catherine .......together!

You give me goose bumps with this scenario of somebody major dying in S4 Suzieq ❤️ Beastie. It would absolutely devastate me if that EVER happened!!!! Of course, I understand why you are preparing yourself for that. Many major shows have been killing off some very big players lately - it seems to be a trend. I am the last one to have anything nice to say about Brad Kern believe me, BUT I remember the wonderful series finale he wrote for Charmed. I cried buckets when it aired - it was so beautiful and comforting and happy and it miraculously tied up a lot of lose ends. So I am holding fast to my rainbows and unicorns and happily ever after.

I am crying now due to the title and everyone's opinions on what the finale could be. I will never be ready to let this show go......Ever!

Obviously, due to the episode title, there will be some sort of finality to it all in this episode. Whether good or bad, we don't know. I would HOPE for a good and happily ever after style of ending, mainly because the original BATB series didn't get it AND they would be repeating themselves, in my opinion, if you killed off one of them.
While I would certainly hope that the Powers That Be wouldn't kill off either Vincent or Catherine, there has always been the BATB ideal of sacrificing EVERYTHING for your loved one. So it wouldn't surprise me if they ended the series with someone making the Ultimate and Tragic Sacrifice of his or her life in order for the others to be able to escape to whereabouts unknown. (And also, that would prevent Beasties from being able to launch a campaign to bring the series back to air since Beasties just aren't going to fight for a show where we watch Vincent or Catherine start over with someone new, as if it wasn't the great love of their lives.)
I admit that I am completely lacking in trust with Brad Kern. However, SURELY most Beasties want Catherine and Vincent together at the end, whether they have the good life or one in hiding. And given that Beastie DEVOTION has kept the show on the air this long, you would think the Powers That Be and Kern would feel a sense of duty to give the fans what they want.
I want my HAPPY ENDING, with unicorns, rainbows, clovers and purple horsehoes!!! My ULTIMATE fantasy Ending still remains a flashforward into the future, where VinCat are seen all over each other and still very much in love, with little children continuously trying to interrupt their "us" time! (And Catherine fussing at said offspring for having "glowey" eyes when angry and trying to fight over toys or playing "beast tag" using their "special" abilities!)
