Hey, I agree, he could have done far worse. He kind of joked about breaking JT's neck, but really all he did was tranq him. I mean, think about it, he'd just been *captured* by these people. He had no reason to trust them at all, until JT showed him the picture, and even that was far less than conclusive. And I wish JT had explained the whole "hiding out" thing as the reason the two of them lived in an abandoned building.
I'm choosing to attribute the "smokin' hot" comment to him just coming out of a drugged sleep <g> and again, he could have said far worse.
I don't think I'd be okay with a triangle. Although it couldn't be much worse than Alex. This new super-soldier at least knows for certain that Cat is emotionally involved and wants to be with him. He gave her that hug and held her while she cried; he has a sensitive side.
I guess we'll find out.
I like the way you pointed this out!

Ok I know right now I sould sound worried like 'Oh no, poor Cat.... that bastard's got her....' BUT I'M FEELING LIKE THIS: In this new clip did you see how he grabbed her from behind? Oh my I can't wait to see them in that blindfolded scene or at the kitchen counter... I'm bad...

^ for me, I rather see some 'layers' to Vincent and all these different sides to him than knowing exactly how Vincent will always be. I love Old Vincent, he's great sweet and tender. New Vincent is cool cause he's unpredictable, he's an enigma, he's so many things and we haven't seen all the sides of him and I'm glad we get an opportunity to see this and for JR to play with. Me too! I actually enjoy seeing him as a bad boy he became! But I'm sure he's going to change, mayber never be the same good old V we fell in love with last year but in the end probably make peace with his new self and accept every new power he has now. It doesn't matter how powerful/superhuman/beastly he is if he can live with that and use it for a good cause maybe he can have a life. On the other hand, I'm a little sad for Cat.... poor woman, lost so many things and now that she could finally enjoy being with her love she just can't recognise the old V in him.... Maybe she thought at first but I think she's going to realize that soon. (events in Kidnapped)

I've got some questions..... We have some info up to episode 8 which is the mid finale and nothing after that... I'm really curious about that cliffhanger. Unfortunately we need to keep guessing until the day that ep airs ! They may hold back spoliers until last minute, because remember Cat's car crash and getting shot in Bridesmaid Up? They kept us in the dark all along, we didn't see that coming! Also what are they up to in the second half of the season?

I think this is going to be the episode where Cat has to face the awful truth: Vincent is not the old V. He is hiding a lot of things like where did he get his new clothes from, where he lives and what he's doing, whether he killed Zhao........ Last episode she didn't ask and of course she was happy to see him alive and then he disappeared before she could've asked him. So she goes out to find him, probably getting in the way again while V's trying to complete one of his missions which is why he "kidnaps" her. The good thing is they will spend some time together in this ep, maybe have a couple of fights too, kiss but then V disappears again..... As the little drama goes on between them they'll experience feelings, which is good for Vincent! It will help him remember sooner. V is going to feel drawn to her but it's not that easy for him just to give in to his desires. He is a soldier and he has a mission and he'll think Cat is distracing and maybe feel annoyed at her a little and I can see in the rooftop clip he's torn. This ep will move things a step ahead but we probably need more time, more episodes until we truly know V is putting Cat above everything else! He needs to fall in love again. Although I think by the time he'll be in love and ready to show her that she'll be questioning if she can trust this new V who has no memories but loves her and also a trained killer working for a secret agency now. She may not like this idea. OK these were my thoughts. Sorry if I repeated anyone else but I didn't read many previous comments. Well, can't wait to see this ep!

I'm pretty sure they never mentioned memory wipe because it was only confirmed after the first episode description. Here in the forum we were gussing until the last minute about it! Edit: or maybe I have amnesia too... and don't remember properly.... it happens to me sometimes when there's too much information my brain just selects the most important ones.... There was an Entertainment Weekly article about a month ago, that posted an 'exclusive' photo of the new beast and there the mentioned the memory loss. After that, every article/interview mentions the memory loss. That's right! Now I know why I was confused about these details: I was thinking about the Comic Con interviews but that was in July! That's where they never explained the reason for "falling in love over again". Some info came later in August like the memory loss. Ok now my head is clear again.

I don't remember them mentioning the memory loss at all! They kinda avoided that word if I'm not mistaken. I think I saw an interview with KK before the premiere where she said something along these lines: "Now that the words out about his memory loss..". I mean if it was highly confidential, they would have kept it hush-hush. I'm pretty sure they never mentioned memory wipe because it was only confirmed after the first episode description. Has anyone thought of the possibility that Vincent doesn't know that Catherine is a cop yet? If so.... hmmm... I wonder how THAT conversation is going to go down? I think he's going to have some trust issues... I mean, I think his base instinct is to trust her, but once he realizes who she is he might have a few concerns... or think she is trying to play him. Just a random thought... I think he's aware of Cat being a cop. She was wearing her badge and gun when she had to go her dad's tribute thing and V's eyes were on her when she was leaving the club! I liked the way he watched her.

OK guys, I'm not sure if this is the right thread for my post, so, sorry if it's not Well, been watching "Who Am I" for the second time, and had this feeling that: OH MY GOD HE'S FAKING IT!!I think Vincent is faking his memory loss I mean, look at the way he looks at her. I know! I know! They have this strong connection, they're meant to be, blah blah.. Here's what I think: Vincent knew who Cat's dad was (I think it was ep18 last season, where Evan asked him if he knew about Cat's parents). So when he was captured by the bio dad, he faked ignorance, and he's playing it up with asking "Who's Catherine Chandler?" just to make it seem real. I think he knows there's no getting away for him. He HAS TO complete his mission. I mean come on! Couldn't he get rid of JT and Gabe right there and then? He had just kicked Zhao's bodyguards' asses hard. Or when he woke up in the Gentlemen's Club, you're a super-charged soldier on a mission and you wake up with people who've tranquilized you, and then you do what? Tell them they're nice and hit on the smoking hot worried girl? Nah! I don't buy it! Aaaand, later, when Cat burst into tears, his expression was tortured. As if he wanted so badly to comfort her, but COULDN'T. I think he's faking everything, just TO PROTECT Catherine. I can't guess why, but this is what I think is happening. He's made a conscious decision to keep her safe, at the cost of keeping her away, at least for some time, and assuring the bio dad Cat's not gonna be able to get into the way of his mission, again, just to keep her safe. Am I being too sentimental here? Very interesting idea!!! I admit it crossed my mind too but I thought our writers are not that clever! . (Edit: or I hope they are! ) At the moment there are no direct hints which would point at that. But I like the idea and if it's true there might be hints later that he's really pretending now.

Gabe keeps asking what he can do to prove he isn't a beast. Well, if JT and Cat would have taken the time to think about it, there was a pretty easy way - Remember how V reacted to Gabe's beast side last season in Anniversary? Well, they could let Gabe be the "bait" and send him in there when he came over to help after they tranqed V. If he was still a beast, V would have taken him out instantly! Of course, there goes the idea of keeping Sendhil on the show for the entire season . . . I think he really isn't a beast anymore. You're right, Vincent would've sensed that. BUT this doesn't mean the process can't be reversed! I think at these top secret M or FBI or whatever labs they know how to mess with DNA. They can find a way to awaken the beast in him.... maybe if he gets captured or after seeing V's abilities he may get jealous and wants to be like him so he goes to them to "offer himself".... Of course there can be other reasons. Who knows what they're planning with his char. Right now he looks nice and I honestly believe he's sorry and wants to help. I actually like his character now because this is the first time he's not hiding anything. But later... He betrayed VinCat once so who knows.

Hi Everyone, Let me start by saying I love this show, I bought the DVD set, even bought one for my sister. I bought season pass on Amazon to both season one and two and i bought season 1 on Itunes.... I did everything I could think of to support this show. That being said....I have watched this episode 5 times and after letting things sit a bit, here is what i think. Loved the pacing and the look of the show, much better. I loved the show, BUT the biggest problem I have is that after watching it I just feel so awful for JT and Catherine. I get what they are trying to do and Jay Ryan knocked it out of the park in his portrayal, but I am not a masochist and I hope things turn around soon, because I can't keep watching a show that just makes me feel so bad for the characters. My Mom watched it for the first time and really liked it so they must be doing something right. But the whole appeal of this show was the relationship between Vincent and Catherine and Vincent and JT. With those completely gone I am not sure why I am watching. So I am looking forward to next week and I hope that things turn around quickly. I like where the direction of the show is headed, I just hope the characters end up fighting the good fight TOGETHER or my heart won't be able to take it. Hi there This was only the first ep! Don't worry! I think things are going to change in the next few eps 2-8 and then I predict another change after that. There's a huge cliffhanger there. The new showrunner B. Kern said something like that.... With this new team of creators this is going to be a bumpy ride! If you think about it, if they didn't stir up things the show would get really boring and we know how that would affect ratings.... This is about B and B and I'm sure they'll bring them together after lots and lots of mistrust, loneliness, drama, tears.

I like this preview! Next week's ep seems very interesting. I just love Cat's "maniac" search for Vincent, it tells a lot about her character. I think she's hopeful and optimistic at this point about being able to make him remember who he is. When she said on the rooftop she just wanted to protect him he looked as if he was thinking she was crazy... Like in Season 1 ep 2 when she became obsessed with trying to bring him justice so she stole his photo (V with his army buddies) and later realized she turned him into a case... We'll see how fast and far their new-found connection can grow when he kidnaps her! That kiss at his place ....... Look forward to Monday!
