well, maybe it is even more true about this fake date... I mean is she out of her mind to go on a date with Gabe or is she forced to do it? Is it necessary under the circumstances and if yes how far is she willing to go with Gabe? And of course what does V think about it??? I bet he'd like to torture Gabe nice and slow...

Is this the episode where the spoiler said C has to do something she doesn't want to? Or was it Cat and Mouse?

Wow!!! I love the description for this episode! The idea of a fake date with Gabe has a lot of potential!!! Can't wait to watch the ep!! (as if I could for any other left..heheh) Seriously, I don't feel concerned at all about description but find there's a lot of chances of witnessing Vincent's jealousy, Catherine's acting skills with Gabe and all the plot the Fab4 will have in mind to help Vincent (to get exenorated?) What I don't see yet is how Catherine will come from slapping Gabe's face to accept to go for a date without Gabe suspecting about it!!! One of you speculated that she may approach Gabe telling him he was right about Vincent, etc... Anyway, sooner or later Gabe will figure out the game and OMG! I have the feeling (or hope) he will become more dangerous than ever! and now not only against V but also against C and the rest of the gang!! Yay!!! Is it sunday already for a Cold Case night? these were exactly my thoughts about the episode and i thought i was the only one who likes the idea Well I'm sure it will be a great ep, full of funny moments and brilliant situations but my question is how can Catherine get from one extreme (breaking up with Gabe and I mean TOTALLY... for good, slapping him and humiliating him in front of the office ) to the other: having a date night with him... Whatever... I really am curious to find out how they are going to pull this off. By the way, this seems to be a common thing in batb: one ep they establish something, the next one will completely ignore it or take it back...

My face when I read the ep description: WTF??? Gabe still trying to win C back? I don't get it. Or maybe he doesn't get it. I thought that slap was easy to interpret... there must be a logical explanation to all this nonsense.

I have a theory for this! People tuned in to watch the show because all this talk about why in the hell was this show renewed? What is the buzz about it? AND they made a good decision to tune in as it was a really great episode and now everyone understands why was the show renewed. And everyone will keep watching it. The ratings are gonna get higher and we will get even more seasons. I like your theory!

About the handcuffs I believe in 2x02 he handcuffed her twice! first: when he kidnapped her, second: right before he got up from bed... to complete his mission leaving a very frustrated and angry Catherine behind... So I thought C was right about this being the third time. But V corrected her! so there is either something I forgot or he has some naughty memories...

I am so happy that for once everybody agrees that this was a perfect Vincat episode. I believe all Beasties are/will be tonight (in the US) in their happy place right now. Where are you beastiegirl.happy.puppy. with your unicorns and rainbows? I feel that is the mood here today...

What an incredible episode after the long hiatus! No review from me this time just my reactions: Finally, finally our VinCat is back. I've missed this so much. Now about the interrupted part. I'm beginning to think we will never see a proper, uninterrupted scene with all this crazy running/fighting/escaping things going on and with Gabe, soon Heather there will simply be no time for them to be alone/in one place for two minutes let alone a normal night... I'm expecting stolen moments, kisses, hugs, nice words, a little bit of this and that but not a relaxed, lazy sex scene. Not like S1 ep 15 or 16. Well I wouldn't mind it but I'd be surprised. Just one more thing, I've been waiting for something like this to happen for so long! what happened to Catherine in the closing scene is really and I think there's only one man who can save her and it will be Vincent... Now how romantic a rescue that'd be? He will come back to save her i'm sure. Vincent, my hero... I loved everyone's reviews, short and long. And thanks for making me survive the hiatus!

I love her answer too, but I feel like she is talking about the story they "wanted" us to see, not necessarily the story or characterization they actually showed us. Catherine felt anything but strong in her character choices much of the time, through midway-to-the end of 2x16, even the way she lied to herself about what sleeping with Vincent meant in 2x15. I won't get too deep into the Gabe love triangle thing, but it felt inauthentic and weak when she she was compelled into his arms after she watched, literally, Vincent react to Tori's death. I mean, I think the VinCat they are showing us now, is "stronger" but I'm not sure that "everything they have been through" is such a convincing story as to why... Or maybe on his side, I can kind of see it, but in her case, I think she just rebounded, and it was pretty obvious. Where was the character discovery and exploration? Where was the soul searching? I mean, I can understand the words she is saying, and finally at the end of 2x16 she seemed to take back her strength, I'm just not sure the arc they are talking about is the one they showed us. Many many things transpired without any logical reasons why, and Catherine, in particular was kind of an illogical mess much of the time. Anyway, I'll get down off the podium now, I just don't totally buy it. Yes I agree! This did not happen at all. Edit. vincent really found himself - throughout the last 4 eps we saw it happening, step by step. but with Catherine, I didn't see that. she was hiding in a relationship with Gabe and refused to face the reality of her feelings. The last 10 minutes of ep 16 when she realzed V has really changed - that wasn't a process. that was just a moment of realization but I feel more things need to happen to her in her journey of discovering who she is.

Hello everyone! I haven't posted for a while as I've been too busy lately but I decided to stay away from the episode spoilers. I feel a lot of strength for that and I want to experience surprise and shock and when I watch it in less than a week!

Is everyone else back in again??? I've been trying to log in and post for like 20 minutes now... Anyway, I watched the whole ep and just enjoyed the "fiery" conversation (I love when they have a fight ..... they are so passionate even when angry... I wonder what happens when they are in bed ) and the rooftop scene too. I also liked the way they made up at the barn right afte the attack but unfortunately Gabe was there to ruin the party I felt Gabe was there all the time, there was just too much of him already here...

I don't like this "fake" interest gabe shows towards C. in S1. I also don't like all the attention he wants from her throughout S2.
