Since, I know now that Jefferen is impatiently waiting for rewatch discussions, I start the new thread. Has anyone watched it yesterday? I did
Randomly and briefly my thoughts:
1/ I quite of liked the case in this one, the first scene with the teen discovering the murdered guy in the park was a good start of episode I think 2/ I liked (ok someone won't be happy to read that, again ;-)) Evan in this episode, he was cool, liked when he said " making out in the bushes is not what it used to be"...meaning he had experience in that matter. At the same time he was not pushy on this, just sober, class. I also liked him in his research on the case, and the way he talked of "his" student, found it funny, like when he told in front of him it was not his choice, or when he sent him away "feel free to take your time" ;-) 3/ I absolutely loved when Cat came to the loft and JT was trying to conceal Vincent was in, too funny when he said "good seing you", this scene really cracked me up 4/ Of course I loved all that we could see of Vincent's body....and his husky voice! Ok no need to add more 5/ JT scared for his friend Vincent, because he had a doubt on his evolution state, this was good, we could see how important was Vincent to JT 6/ Liked Catherine in "February is great, oh I love July, etc" 7/ Loved JT's reference to Evan, "the guy you kissed" and that this put Vincent ill at ease because that meant Vincent had told JT about the kiss, and now Catherine knew he had told about it....I'm fond of those scenes when they're a little awkward and shy about their feelings 8/ And finally I loved "I'm not going anywhere. Trust me" line, he was looking back at her with such an intensity, I love them both together on screen!!! She later tried to calm him down when he lost control, not easy but she tried to show him she trusted him.

Lol! As I love this story arc and love the final scene of the episode and the music, I was hoping someone opened a thread last night as I again got caught up in some political stuff at my ambulance corp and couldn't rewatch. Thanks for opening the thread. I'll be back later and or tomorrow to comment on some stuff! Just want to say tho that the final vincat scene when she visits him at the warehouse and he's caged just breaks my heart. The emotiobs on their faces were so sad, I could feel the anguish again that they both were in especially KK. And I loved her declaration that she was gonna get V out of there and the he expression when he said it was her. That she was the reason for the blackouts. I never thought for one second ever that she was the cause. And the the final song was perfect. Another one of my favorite BATB songs. I'll be back later with more thoughts

I did not love love this episode but I really liked it. I loved cat telling Vincent when he thought he was the killer that she would be there for him and the look on his face when he realised she meant it

The shower scene was When V was in Terminatormode he hurt JT but not Cat down in the tunnels . That shows to me how deep his feelings already for Cat are. The last scene was so sad when he said it's you and the expression of the eyes...you needn't any word.

I haven't done a rewatch of this one in a while. Did they ever explain who's blood it was on Vincent's hands in the beginning of the episode? I don't think they did, but can't recall now. Vincent wasn't the killer, but who did he kill or hurt in order to have blood on him when he blacked out from the previous ep?

Yes, that is probably what I'm thinking of.

Just rewatched and that's what I liked: - Cat's smile while making the baggage for her romantic (or not) weekend: it is obvious even to her quite old neighbor that she isn't going out for a weekend with friends. she tries to lie to herself that it is not a romantic weekend probably because she doesn't want to be disappointed if nothing happens but her ear-to-ear smile says that she desires to be alone with Vincent (and not only for romance... ) - Vincent's shower with chain in the background... so fifty shades of gray ... and I don't have to add nothing else - Cat looking at a very tall guy like he was never-ending - Cat asking how they match a man with a month.... this is really a good question when you are between 12 good looking men... - JT that jokes about the tranq gun that can sting a little but will make Vincent have a great sleep - JT's scared face when Vincent has the blackout - Vincent's low waist jeans when he lies down the floor after JT shot him - The way Vincent looks at Cat in the tunnel just before having the blackout: it's a mix of guilty-scared eyes while he is fighting with the near blackout - JT that argues with Cat that she was selfish because she thought only to have Vincent's help finding Evan and didn't think how Vincent could feel himself if he had hurt her

Cause of my health issues I haven't been around to open this thread. But Out Of Control is still a heart-breaker for me. The end scene and the emotion of seeing Vincent in a cage like an animal tore by heart to pieces, it does so even now when I watch the episode. I think this also set in motion that VinCat were already beginning to 'notice' that their feelings stemmed further then just friendship. She was truly and utterly upset to see him that way.She defended him even though he thought he was the one who killed the man.
Favorite lines:
"I'm not going anywhere..TRUST ME."
SO many likes here, seeing Vincent face his demons and Catherine standing by him NO MATTER what, and vice versa.
We know this storyline isn't over, it comes down to the rest of the season especially in the next episode, Bridesmaid Up, Heart Of Darkness and Anniversary
I so love season one for so many reasons.

I remember back when this first aired, people were wondering when in the heck the planning a weekend away happened and how come we didn't get to see this conversation. What makes it weirder, is that this episode was originally written as the episode after Saturn Returns.
I like the scene with Cat and the fireman. It's fun to see KK playing social dork, which I don't think she's done before. I like her expression as she eyes the extremely tall fireman and I always laugh at the way those two guys just stare at her like she's an idiot after her, "November is great. It's got Thanksgiving and everything." In the pilot script, there was originally this exchange between Cat and Vincent where she starts to ramble about his apartment and he says that she talks a lot and she says when she's nervous. Tess references this supposed trait of Catherine's in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner but I think we only see it in this episode and maybe a little in Beast is the New Black when she starts talking about the windows in her apartment.
I never understood all of the boo hoo hooing at the end of this episode and the look what you made Vincent do, now he has to be in a cage. From the way they were acting, you would have thought this was the first person Vincent killed rather than the 7th or 8th since the pilot.
