I'm really worried, guys! The ratings are going lower and lower and people says that new viewers aren't interested on the storyline. I even heard that loyal fans are giving up the show. Do you think this will be the last season of our show and the fanbase we build with such a hard work is disintegrating?

The ratings actually went up and if loyal fans are giving up then they aren't so loyal are they?

Unfortunately I've read some of those comments. I agree with Kiki09, if they give up they are not that loyal. But let's be honest, they count as more viewers and followers so it's such a pity that we lose many of them for ONE SCENE!!! There are some promoters of the show that, IMO, are not helping much in calming things down, just asking over twitter what do we think about that scene again?? Come on!! let's overcome this once for all! Yeah, the scene is very sensitive but I start feeling that people is overreacting about this! Again I clarify I don't justify any kind of violence but, PLEASE, can we remember this is a TV show??? FICTION! Yeah, we all LOVE Vincent and it was a shock that the guy we "love" does something like that but... pleeeease, there are SO MANY OTHER SHOWS were there is other kind of violence, love triangles that show no respect for any living person, more than codependance between couples... Can we please be a bit more grown-up and let the show go on??? That scene, as controversial as it is, has given the show a whole new turn and will help Cat to wake up and start wondering who is this guy. I mean, for the sake of the storyline it was a good turn. Yeah, it could be done other way, but they said they wanted to show dr. jekyll and mr. hyde in Vincent 2.0 and there it is!!! Moreover, Vincent's immediate remorse should make us all give him a chance right? Yeah, in real world, probably once someone hits you, you should run but this is not real world AND he didn't HIT her. Yeah, pushed her, but with no intention to hurt!
Sorry for coming back again analyzing all the scene but I'm really upset reading many comments at twitter about giving up just because of that scene... I only can say: REALLY???

seriously? seriously? ? giving up because of that scene? what can i say, that to me is silly ( i am using a soft word here). what kind of fans are these?? matter of fact is, show is very likely to be cancelled since it is not doing well and other cw shows are doing really well and they need empty slots for new shows next year. I have accepted the fact that cancellation is a big possibility, but I would never ever stop supporting the show or pushing for its renewal ! and I would definitely not give up on the show if i didnt agree with a scene or an action by one of the characters.

Totally agree with you, guys. If you take that one scene alone, yes, it seems bad, but you have to put it on context. And, IN THE CONTEXT, I think it's comprehensible and valid. I don't think people should give up the show only because of it, either. Hell, I don't even think people should give up on it because of the new redhead! If you analyze the entire ep, you'll see that it was really good and kinda romantic! It's really childish to make sucha fuse over ONE SINGLE SCENE!

Yes I have seen plenty of posts on facebook talking about giving up on the show because of that scene. I try to reply to all of them just to help them see the point of the scene and why it was placed in the episode. Many people replied positively and said that I was right so hopefully I'm doing something right I'll post my response here as soon as I get home after work. Get your feedback

WHAT!! how can they even call themselves 'loyal fans' ? giving up because of that scene is the SILLIEST thing I've heard in ages, I'm a bit shocked right now, I don't know what to say, find this far too RIDICULOUS now BATB needs all the support they give up?

Sorry for coming back again analyzing all the scene but I'm really upset reading many comments at twitter about giving up just because of that scene... I only can say: REALLY??? This is exactly it. In context the scene makes sense. Extreme yes but it makes sense. I get that the ratings can be an epic downer but to me, it just galvanized me to fight harder cause I legit love the show that much. If I could fly to the US and be a Nielsen family I would! Lol But I firmly believe that if/when Vincent gets all lovey-dovey and these 'fans' will return or at least I hope they will. But I have to agree, it is a GIANT overreaction especially since the actors (as uncomfortable with it as they were) they understand why it was done. I will always hark back to this: if KK/JR didn't get why it was included, they would not have done it. We need to just stand together for this show and be true fans.

this is so sad actually. i know the fans have the power to change things, but not watching the show because of one scene is really not the way to help the show right now, not when we reeeeaaaallllyyy need to increase the rating to keep the show going. seriously, there is no way for the writers, producers, actors or who ever is in charge can accommodate to each and every thing that we want out of this series but right now, this is the ONLY ONE of its kind out there - a romantic thriller which main character have SOOOO MUCH chemistry with one another. I can't bear the thought of not able to watch this series anymore..

Yeah, it would be stupid to give up on the show just because of that scene, I agree. But I don't think it's only this. It seems to me that, at some point along the hiatus, people lost faith in the show. I saw a lot of bad reactions to the new redhead. I understand, of course. Who wants to see Alex again? I certainly don't. I feel like lots of fans got suspicious after that dreadful arc. It makes sense that people won't trust the producers anymore, but I think they've learned their lesson and they won't go to that path again. Having changed Vincent so much was the main problem, at least that's what I think. Beasties fell in love with the sweet monster that tortured himself for not being able to control his temper, hurting people in the process. Beast 2.0 doesn't care if he's harming someone and doesn't question when he's ordered to do it. That's not what I want to see and I believe that a lot of beasties are with me on that. I still have faith in the show, but I'm concerned if people can be as patient as I'm being right now.

I mean I loved it last season but I think overall it is a better show this season. regarding tori, writers confirmed she is not another alex. also regarding vincent 2.0, yes he is (at the moment) all the above, but the point is that catherine will help him change. dunno, I think if the fans are patient, they will definitely be rewarded this season, i hope so anyway.
