There was a football game on last night I believe. Maybe it played a role in the ratings...*shrug*.

Those ratings are bad! It is going down each and every week, and I'm getting scared we won't be seeing a season 2 if it keeps regressing that much! Yikes!!! The one thing that BATB needs to do is remain consistent, they can't go down much further than this. Hopefully with all the promotion they have done for this upcoming mid-season finale episode we will get some of those viewers back.

Well I emailed the CW on their site that I love the show. I am voting on polls and telling everyone that it is a great show. I am going to see if I can gift a season pass on itunes somehow. Hopefully next week will do better. I would love to see it come up a few points.

I am watching it on the CW site as I type. I keep replaying episodes, I am not sure if that counts but I sure enjoy it.

Yesterday BATB was coming 69 in the iTunes TV shows download chart. This morning its gone up to 30. That surely must mean that many people are interested in the show, right?

guyz ratings are on the "DEATH LINE".If it gets above 2.5 index, then there is a real problem for us.we need to see how the next episode goes and then we can decide the future of this show.

Does anyone know how the show is doing in Canada, and other countries ratings wise? I know it doesn't start airing until next year in England, France, and Australia. I posted this on the Sweet forum but thought I'd post it here too. According to the articles below, the CW's President said overnight and even C3 ratings don't mean much to the network. So unless any of us happen to be one of the 25,000 Nielson families whose viewing habits are somehow meant to accurately represent what the other 114,999,975 of us our watching on Thursday evenings, it would seem that the best way to have our BatB viewing counted is to watch on the CW site, or other legal online sites like Hulu. i got a steal buying the iTunes season pass for only $9.99 right after the pilot aired, but even $24.99 still seems good for 22 episodes. And on the rare occasions when I have actually been able to see the Top 200 TV Seasons listed on iTunes, I noticed that BatB was one of the 4 or 5 CW shows up there. The other thing that might help Beauty is international sales. I previously posted a link to the transcript of CBS Corp 3rd quarter earnings report in which they stated that Vegas and Elementary had been sold to the international marketplace for more than $2 million per episode making them immediately profitable franchises and that Beauty had been sold for more than $1.5 million an episode as well. There was no mention of Emily Owens and someone on another message board claimed to have seen the figures for Emily and said that the show was doing terribly overseas and wasn't that cheap to produce. So those of you in other countries where the show is already airing can also help keep it going by making sure that you are viewing the show via Showcase, Universal, ETC sites if you aren't watching it live. Pedowitz was asked about the CW’s ratings woes (the network recently earned a 0.0 overnight rating for a repeat of 90210). He reiterated that overnight ratings have little meaning for the network. “We look at it through an aggregation, (including digital platforms)”, he said. “We can measure who’s watching us on digital, but it does not count with the Nielsen ratings.”www.deadline.com/2012/07/cws-mark-pedowitz-on-selection-battle-royale-development-plans-digital-route-with-comedy-shorter-drama-orders-tca/Pedowitz added that Nielsen’s overnight numbers and the C3 metric (live commercial rating with three days of DVR playback) do not accurately measure the totality of the audience viewing CW series
Ringer did not perform as well digitally as he would have liked.www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/tca-mark-pedowitz-nielsen-ratings-gossip-girl-muppets-355857
