Think I'm realising more and more that batb is consuming me like a drug Lol!  - It got me onto twitter! - It's made me watch some episodes of the 80s series and watch the disney version again! - During the hiatus, I read fan fics everyday..most of the fics on fan fiction site, I think  which is kinda weird, since I guess I don't read that much..but for the sake of batb dosage lol - I've made clips of episodes and been watching it everyday.. - Probably seen each episode 4 times at least.. - Been watching old tv shows that Jay and Kristin been in.. Anyway, what about you guys? What has batb series done to you lol how often you're watching the series, talking about it, etc, etc...How obsessed are you? Or you're not really obsessed...like you enjoy the show, but you wouldn't classify it as your number one...you probably watch each episode once, or wouldn't mind missing an episode every now and then... Anyway interesting to see what degree of fans we got here lol |

LOL! Me too! Got me onto Twitter - I had never Tweeted before! Have watched every episode at least 3 times! Near the end of the hiatus, started reading the fan fic - which I NEVER do! Voted for PCAs thousands of times..when I have never EVER voted before... Think about this show WAY too much. I really, really don't get into TV shows all that much. My family and I watch OUAT regularly, but if I miss an ep, oh well - I'll catch up sometime. Other than that, TV is sporadic for me, with mostly reality stuff (Amazing Race, AI, Voice, etc), but that's it. This season, have been watching Chicago Fire (which I really like, but think that is Dick Wolf? who creates some really good stuff like Law and Order, etc), a bit of Arrow (but can take it or leave it) and of course BATB. Never before have I cared so much about a stupid TV show. I have no idea what's come over me, or WHY I am so obsessed, engaged, involved in this show and the characters. it does seem to be happening to a few people, so I know that I am not totally insane  . |

All of the above applies to me too. Since starting the series in December I am totally off other shows. I watch other series with my hubby but my iPad or iPhone is not far away, ready to look up the latest Batb news. I watch with half an eye, not really interested. I have read the fanfics and spend most of my non working hours on twitter with fellow Beasties. I've also watched every episode too many times to count and the VinCat scenes even more. Gosh I've got it bad... Sounds worse now that I've put it on paper. LOL

All of the above applies to me as well. I've never voted for anything in my life besides maybe the national elections and that's like one vote but I amazed myself by voting like 10 000 votes for the PCA. Even shows like idols never inspired me to vote. Even in meetings at work my mind is constantly on BATB counting the hrs till I get home to catch up with fellow beasties and the latest BATB news. When people unaware to themselves quote lines from the show its like a light bulb goes on in my head and I reflect back on one of the cast members saying that line. I had to stop myself one day while I was in bit of an argument with my hubby when I nearly said" it's always on your terms". Luckily I caught myself in time and thought to myself OMG I'm really losing my marbles. Get a grip Gretel!

I'd say too much. There is not a day that is not pending what they say .. or will do. I vote like crazy every day until the PCA awards ceremony ... is like a book you read and would like to know how to finish ends

I've been obsessed with a few shows in my day..The original BatB in the 80's..Then The X-Files and Farscape in the 90's and then The Twilight Saga books and movies. I admit it I'm a not only a Beastie but I'm also a Twihard.
But when it comes to this show I got hooked on the pilot(haven't done that for any precious obsessions)
I try to find info on spoilers and photos whatever for the FIX before the next episode.
I visit this message board (thank God for it) So I can rant, express and join in convos
I actually have a funny story..My husband of 34 years is a truck driver who is home only 4-6 days a month..He usually isn't home on Thursday which is BatB night..well so happened that when Out OF Control aired he was home..I nicely told him to leave for an hour and don't come back until the show was over! LOL! NO JOKE
And then the final installment of The Twilight Saga came out at 10PM on November 15 I waited UNTIL the midnight showing to go see it cause I didn't want to miss Beauty And The Beast LOL
I re-watch episodes online and on TV and I also make Beauty And The Beast vids to keep busy until the next episode and cause I love making them..How do you think I got through 6 weeks without the show?? LOL
So call me sick or INSANE but I thank God I'm not the only one!

SAME HEREEEE!!!!!! OMG!! I feel a relief, i`m not the only one, i don`t know anybody that even like BATB, i`m from Mexico and i see the show online and on TV too but in my country it is delayed by 3 episodes... my other obsession is Covert Affairs!!! I only can say that at my 42 i feel like a teen with this obsession AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whenever I'm out, I'm thinking about the show- what could be new online and pretty much as soon as I'm home, I'm on the computer! Probably a good thing my mobile doesn't have the net  as I'm pretty sure it will make me anti-social lol and trust me to walk and hit a pole while checking batb news on the mob! Except the quote part, haven't gone that far yet! You know you're obsessed when you actually do that! I love the clown-fish quote, but what situation can you seriously use that !!? Unless you're like at an aquarium and see a clown-fish lol or if you see a cross dresser maybe Wow 10,000 votes for the PCA. I think that was how many votes they were ahead by, so that could've been just one person alone! But, I haven't voted for anything other than that either except elections (that is compulsory in Australia, otherwise you get a fine lol.). This is totally random but I noticed there's usernames liesel and gretel. Aren't they kids/characters from the sound of music? lol Do you two users know each other? Or it's a coincidence, it's like that lol! |

When I watch batb I'm so focused on it, nothing distracts me! I was like that with home and away too. All my friends knew...I'm like don't call me at 7pm because I'm watching home and away! Once one of my friends called, I told her 'You know what time it is?' She's like 'Oh, it's home and away time, I forgot.' 'So you know what that means?' I answered. And she hang up lol! But I called her afterwards and all was good. This was ages ago though like in High School- maybe like 10 years now! I can imagine, I'd be the same with batb except since it's not on in Australia, I see it online! Smallville is another show I'm crazy obsessed bout! But the airing of it in Australia was really sucky- like on, off, on, off. Kept changing times, even changed channels like 2 or 3 times. |

Well actually we are twins. My dad gave us the names from the musical Sound of music. We both share a love for the show , live opposite each other, teach at the same school and have 15 yrs old daughters born 6 days apart. So yeah
we KNOW each other lol

-Go to bed around 1-2am and wake up at 8 everyday to tweet about BatB
-Make some BatB twitter backgrounds for @beauty_BeastCW
-Checking on the internet at least twice in an hour everyday to see the latest BatB related news
-Voted around 15k times for the PCA
-Vote in every poll that has BatB on it
-Make a short comic (1-2 panels) about the casts or the characters from photos and screencaps
-Download every BatB episode 2nd thing in the morning
Can you consider this as obsessed?
