Shall this be our new project for the time being?! I believe so!  Beauty and The Beast's IMDB rating is at 6.7 at the moment and its been there for a bit. I personally and strongly believe this series needs to be higher than in the 6's! Why you ask? Because there's a handful of people that base on whether or not they'll give a TV series a chance by going to IMDB and seeing the audience's rating. By us helping bring the number up, in turn we're also helping the series catch some eyes! So, shall we start? Mostly everyone I know uses IMDB, I honestly had no idea that site existed until recently! With that said... IMO metacritic.com will be a cake walk to raise its rating!  |

There is actually a discussion going on on the BATB page at IMDB that the rating system is unfair. Most people are rating it a 10 out of 10 and yet while it has moved up it should be at a 8, based on the numbers of voters for each number, instead of a 6.7. Someone investigated more and found that IMDB has a formula to prevent false ratings. Giving it a 10 out of 10 to try to raise the ratings or a 1 out 10 to try to lower the ratings, kinda thing. So the people on the board are changing their ratings to an 8 or 9 and seeing if that will stop IMDB from unfairly miscalculating the ratings for the show. So if your going to rate it you might want to try giving it an 8.

Some TSC fan posted the following about this on The Carrie Diaries forum on IMDB: Beauty and The Beast fans want to destroy this show.
They have campaigns asking the fans to rate their show as a 10 on IMDB, and on their twitter and their forums they are wishing this show will flop so their show can have more chances to be renewed. Just google it and you'll see. They're cheating everywhere. Not BATB, just every other show. You're welcome for TCD premiering at 0.6.  Oh and, for the record, Cult fans are the most adamant about TCD failing. They realize that mid-season spots are hard and that TCD has gotten way more promo and support than Cult has. TSC fans are upset because BATB "stole" their timeslot. You want to be mad at a show? Be mad at Emily Owens, which came in and was almost immediately cancelled. Be mad at Nikita who had terrible ratings but was none-the-less renewed over TSC. Be mad at HOD who had lower ratings but was renewed over TSC. Be mad at Mark Pedowitz and all those responsible for axing the show. Be mad at all the Nielson families who chose to drop your show towards the end. Be mad at all the countries outside of the US that wouldn't purchase your show. Don't take it out on a show just because it's in the same timeslot. If TSC had been renewed, it would've been put on a different night. All that being said, don't judge TSC fans by the few crazies. My mom was a TSC fan, she's not at all crazy. She just goes "I liked that show" and then continues to watch TVD, Arrow, and BATB. |

your mom since nice and mostly has great taste in shows! and i totally agree that the anger of tsc fans is misplaced!
