The fact that someone (like me among others) liked S3 and the fact that there is a lack of VinCats romance are not in contrast. I'm not for smoochy Tv show so maybe 4season like S1 for me would have been too much. So I loved the action packed part of S3 as well as the guest stars that, IMO, made great job especially Jason Gedrick. But it doesn't mean that I hadn't miss VinCat moments and I'm aware that lots of beasties were only into those kind of things. I'm on twitter and I saw tons of twitt to Stuart and to Austin recalling for some VinCat romance (BK is not on tw). Some comments were very harsh, some direct to actors and lots to writers. And that is why I feel bad hearing BK's words because he knows well what beasties want even if he thought to make things in the right way. In terms of characters apart from Cat/KK that has only a memorable moment, Austin and Jay had great arc in this season: Austin had the chance to show his skill not only as the funny geek friend of the lead, but as a whole human being with drammatic moments, action and romance. In this picture I see why Austin could think S3 was great FOR HIM but not for beasties. Plus... On tw lots of fan girl asking Austin about Jay or about Vincent, sometimes the line between the two is too thin in their questions, but not so many question him about JT... Or, worse, openly asking for less JT&Tess scene and more VunCat... I wouldn't be too happy in Austin's shoes... And in fact he answered that the show is not obly about VinCat but has five characters

Again, @luna76, I can only speak for me and what I was disappointed about in S3. I do not mean that they have to hold hands and look into each other's eyes, or passionately kiss and make out ALL THE TIME. The action was fine and Liam was great. Could have done without Juliana and could have defintely done without Catherine beating her to a pulp.
No, what I am critizing is this for example: In S1 Vincent had to hide and he and Catherine did not get to do many fun couple things together in public. Their wonderful time at her dad's wedding was cut short. They were able to go to the hotel pool once and that was cut short with the bad news that JT had about the pills. And then they had a magical afternoon in a small town just strolling around and doing fun things like eating cotton candy.
In S2 Vincent got to do some fun things with the red-head. He took her out to social events, parties, etc., but NEVER did he get to do anything like that with Catherine. On the contrary, it was the ADA from hell who took her to a trip to Mexico and later - even right after he had killed Jack Watston - he gets to take her to a fun cake-decorating session. (Well, it could have been fun, if it had been Vincent taking her) Also, we hear from their conversation that they must have been doing fun things together off-screen, like bumper cars. But VinCat do not get to do fun couple things together (outside the bed sheets and even those fun things were few and far between.)
And then comes S3 - and THAT would have been the time to finally do some fun couple things together. But NOOOO, Vincent arranges for a romantic dinner, which immediately gets sabotaged by Catherine having lied (by omission) to him about her involvement with DHS. Then, later, she wants to go out with him to some social event and again, she sabotages that by lying to him, because the only reason she wants to go there is to question Solomon and then she completely ruins it by actually giving the guy a heart attack.
Their engagement time would have been such a wonderful opportunity for the writers to show us a couple in love, doing fun things, building memories, building a nest, growing together and yes making love - a lot! Instead we get a bickering and fighting couple struggling with nonsense stuff like denial, co-dependency, primal issues and the like. And when they finally settle down after a day of fighting each other and the baddies, they have a glass of wine between them like a barrier and they exchange little bird-like pecks and the screen goes dark.
Those are some of the issues I have with S3. I had better NOT go into the character assassination of my beloved Catherine who - like she did in S2 - becomes unrecognizable at times.

Yes bloopers are very witty as always. Two things that I noticed: - KK laughs at every joke or stupid thing J says or does no matter what - this funny and relaxed atmosphere you see in bloopers is totally in contrast with those long and almost angry faces on BTs pics

One of the funniest moments on the Gag Reel. it was like the previous "don't blow me Catherine" from S2 gag reel I was thinking the same thing. The "don't blow me Catherine" line was so naughty. Jay even looked a little embarrassed after he said it, but Kristin just cracked up laughing like it was nothing.

Hi! Are there any differences between the dvd version or the Blu-ray version? Or are they the same?
