To Catherine: Gabe is not trying to protect you. Throwing your sister to the wolves isn't being too concerned for your feelings or mental well-being. You know what the man is capable of, why are you even letting stuff like this fall from your mouth? I'm wondering if Gabe's beast flashback is foreshadowing. I hope he does revert back. It would serve him right. still didn't see the whole ep yet , just some few lovely parts that i am already in love with but seriously does Cat still buying and saying this crap about Gabe trying to protect her ? oh Cat what the hell is wrong with you ? why you always like --- that when it comes to Gabe ? how exactly is killing your little sister consider as a protecting ?! again and seriously why do the writers do this to Cat's character ?! as for Gabe i really wish he doesn't literally turn into a beast again i want him to do all the horribles while he physically is 100% human , i don't want that crap about putting the whole sins on the beastly DNA shoulder again ! human do sins too by their own free well you know ? wars , crimes , misery all over the world are caused by people who are 100% human ( at least from the physical concept ) -- so Gabe is evil and selfish by nature and commits crimes because of this like any other evil normal /human criminal ! that simple ! is this hard to believe or to be done or too much to ask ?! Good point. I absolutely agree.

the one thing i expected this episode to be (based on ashton's descritiptions) was dark, but it was not dark and full of angst, but it was a "light" episode - surprised about that. i guess they are keeping allthat for the season finale lol also we still have not found out any more info about the mythology. i said it before but i really dont think we will get more info up till the season finale. i think it will all be revealed then. but we shall see ... 2 more epsiodes to go before the finale airs It was dark in terms of Gabe and what's happening with him. Vincat is hopeful and dealing with their situation as best they can (advancing the "us against the world" theme started last week). I like that because I need a breather from Vincat angst. yes, i was referring to the tone of the episode not the plot or the characters, i was not dark in that respect and yes i liked that too

I'm nearly finished watching, finally. I had to take a breather because I can't quite get over the hotness of that rooftop scene... So good. The banter that precedes the kissing is almost better than the kissing itself. SO HOT. I'm fanning myself just thinking about it... The way she said "Since I'm still sleeping with a fugitive.." and his hot comeback with "Well...not lately your not," (with that look he gave her), followed by her taking it up three notches (or twelve) with her deadpan reaction, "yeah, no one is watching." WOW, how naughty was that dialogue? Just that dialogue and, good lord, the way the two of them delivered it... I like the way they can turn up the heat without so much as moving towards one another. Very very deliberate, and hot, so freaking hot! And then of course the too-short make-out scene was something to remember. But I LOVED they way they did that scene. I think I watched it just now, approximately 25 times. I have to say, I much prefer the hot dialogue, and too short make-out scenes to the sweet kissing scenes they often finished with in S1. I mean, I still love those other scenes, but I do love the heat the new VinCat seems to be delivering.
A few other knee jerk reactions. Gabe is spiraling out, really really starting to get reckless and lose it. It would be nice if once in a while he actually (really) got in trouble for this kind of stuff. I would like to see him stop worming his slimy way out of murder. It is kind of convenient the way every witness has to die. I'm glad they finally tied up the "What happened to Ray?" question. I was pretty irritated when they dropped that storyline like a hot potato last year. I missed JT - as usual, and felt like it was weird that he wasn't there. Also, why are VinCat always meeting on her rooftop? That is a ridiculous idea, since they know where she lives, most likely have her place bugged and staked-out at all times, and, just no, it makes no sense. It's just reckless of the two of them. They need to find another rooftop to meet on... I, also, don't really care for the "Pavillion" meeting place. It feels a bit too out in the open to me, and hmmmm, why aren't they underground somewhere? Or, I dunno, just somewhere more *ahem* private.
I really enjoyed having Heather back, and annoying as her character may be at times, I love the actress, and really love sisterly time. I especially loved the scene where Catherine finally told her the truth, and how Heather wigged out assuming Catherine was lying again. It was so them. I also liked the fact that her return coincided nicely with the "Gabe spinning out" storyline, when they finally tied up the Ray Shenkman detail, something, which originally involved Heather. The timing of it was really perfect. It gave them the chance to come clean about Vincent saving her and finally tied together some errant loose ends. I'm a big fan of the original cast of characters including, of course, Heather, JT, Tess, VinCat, and Evan too (sadly). I think the dynamics of the original group really works, and genuinely love to see all those moving parts interacting again... (well except Evan). I'm looking forward to and hoping to see more of the Vincent/Heather dynamic in the future episodes.
There were many things I really liked about this episode. Two thumbs up!!

Not with these two! I said it that it would BE HOT and well as usual many doubted.. You describe that roof top scene to a T I love this episode BETTER then Cat And Mouse HANDS DOWN! I leave the big stuff for my reviews BUT I think the Vincent and Heather interactions were GREAT..I did say in my early posts about the meeting of V and H that there convo was gonna lead to something LOL...Oh and it did!

I was not ready for that at all! I just finished watching the first time and when Gabe killed the witness my mouth dropped to the floor. Well played! Wow can't believe it.

Everyone has pretty much said everything I feel but one of my favourite parts was that they tied up a lot of loose ends from s1. - Sheckman - The carriage driver And I liked that we actually saw what Gabe did to Sheckman because I had always wondered if the shot that footage or were just going to leave us guessing about that one.
For me, they took a risk revealing all to Heather but I think it really paid off. I knew she was not going to believe Cat when Catherine was finally honest with her about everything for the first time, but I liked when Sheckman's brother revealed that Vincent saved Heather that night, she somewhat softened.
I loved how she freaked out when he beasted out in front of her. That we as hilarious and well played by Nicole.
I'm glad that the Chandler sisters are back together and the scene between them in Catherine's kitchen felt so very Nicole and KK as opposed to Cat/Heather but still amazing, fun and light-hearted.

I love this new/old Gabe. As was said earlier, he's not one-dimensional and you can see that him being unravelled and crazy unsettles him but we know he will not sway from his vengeance against VinCat. He's crazy but his craziness is layered.

I just watched the episode and I liked it. I was afraid that Heather might cause problems to VinCat but she was not. She's accepting Vincent and their relationship. The evil side of Gabe was totally revealed. Besides the beast he was used to be, it was proved that he does not need to be a beast to do bad things or to be a killer. When I saw him in the line up I was shocked. I never expected to see him like that but I had the same smile as Gabe has about Vincent in 2.17. The last scene was my favorite. A little short but lovely.
