Heartbeat.....exactly why he experience in the rooftop scene ant the end!!! Yes, yes to this. To add another question... that cage they put him was supposed to be unbreakable, designed specifically for beasts, so how was he able to break down the door? You know how Vincent is able to bend metal? He can't do the same to this particular cage...what he did in this epsiode was use brute force to break the cage from the hinges on the wall...clever bloke, Vincent 1- cage maker 0

Is it just me or did that scene with Vincent breaking out of the cage, remind you of 1x18 heart of Darkness, in the episode where Max dies and Vincent is trying to open the door. As others have mentioned there are certain scenes from Season 2 that remind us of Season 1, do you think it's intentional or just a coincidence???

I liked that this episode had Cat back to solving cases, albeit without her badge and without Tess really by her side. All in all, it was a good but not great episode for me. Like everyone else, I wish the VinCat moment at the end could have lasted a little bit longer.
I also think the preview was a bit of a tease and misleading. With Gabe saying words like "hurt her", but in the episode he really says "don't hurt her" (which is what I expected) and is referring to Cat's sister (which I hadn't expected). The preview also makes it look like everyone is after Cat, but that's not really the situation either. So the episode wasn't what I was expecting at all, but still very enjoyable.
I stay away from this board on Mondays as I don't want to be "spoiled", watched it live at 9 pm Pacific. It amazes me how so many US Beasties have access to watch it before it airs. Makes me wonder if that has an affect on the ratings.

Hand raised high in response to the last post! Here's a question for the writers: If a beast gets blue balls, does it hurt more than when a normal guy gets them? As much as I loved so many aspects of this episode (Vincat romance, flashbacks to Season 1, sisterly bond with Heather), one of the most fun things about this episode was seeing Gabe get forced into that police line-up. In honor of that, I'd like to give you: 5 Genius Things Gabe Has Done Lately:1. In the last episode, when he thinks he has his fugitive cornered, yelling out, "Vincent!" at the top of his lungs just before police flood the alley. You know, just to give Vincent the 2 seconds he needs to blur away. 2. Wear a purple suit that makes him look like the Joker. Or Barney. Or both. Also it's really subtle to wear a purple suit when he's going around arranging hits on Vincent. 3. Going around town, arranging a hit on Vincent, leaving his name with secretaries and many other corroborating witnesses. 4. Killing the witness that IDed him 5 minutes prior, still wearing the purple suit, no disguise of any kind. 5. Killing the witness without gloves on, so that his fingerprints will be on the victim and his skin under the victim's nails. Yowza! I thought he was supposed to be the smart character! Also, I thought he couldn't beast out at will, only when his meds wore off? This seems to contradict the flashback, which shows him beasting out to kill Ray. Overall a fun and funny episode. I'm willing to suspend my credibility and squint past plot holes. Hilarious. But. He's. Gabe. Smarter than the average bear. But seriously, this is what happens when you think you're so damned smart, but you're still spinning out of control.

I wonder if Heather summed up two and two and figured out that, yes, Vincent saved her that day in the alley but he also KILLED her boyfriend... Also, how cool was Captain Ward when he asked Gabe to volunteer for the line-up? He actually seemed pleased and satisfied of having the chance to put his hands on Gabe!! I think Captain Ward is a Beastie and doesn't like Gabe more than we do!! Gabe is arrogant and smug. Traits that most people really don't like.

I was so touched by the look on Cat's face right after Vincent jumps off the rooftop...she still wants the things that her sister is about to get....she is wishing for that future for her and Vincent. I have a question on this jumping by Vincent. The first time he jumped off and Catherine said I am here, he then jumped back up. Now, we have never seen Vincent jump from bottom to top, all we have ever been shown is him jumping down. So, my question is, is that a new ability that he has suddenly acquired? A thousand pardons if this has already been answered, but Vincent jumped quite a distance up to escape Muirfield in the tunnels.

Oh! I found a very small and tiny "plot hole" which probably it is not... LOL Ok, I'll explain myself. When C and V are looking for murders committed by Gabe, Catherine says that they can place him at the scene of the crime of Ray Sheckman but actually they CAN'T!! C and V didn't cross with Gabe in that museum! Evan did! BUT, I remember seeing a pic of Catherine grabbing Gabe's arm at the museum, probably confused cause she thought it was V. So MAYBE there was a deleted scene where C meets Gabe at the museum. In that case, there is no plot hole in this ep! LOl this is crazy... I hope I explained myself good enough!!! Yes you did and yes it was a deleted scene so it didn't take place in the show. *sigh* Plot holes. Plot holes. Plot holes. Not everything is one nor is everything not seen supposed to fall into the didn't happen category. Cat mentioned in "About Last Night" that they (she and Gabe) had been at the masquerade fund raiser the year before, so obviously they ran into each other at some point. Just saying.

Me personally I do both, I watch b4 it airs in US and watch it Live on Monday nites, and tweet as well. If Beasties are gonna watch b4 it airs in the US, they need to also watch it live on mondays too

I've never watched live for 2 reasons: (1) I can't stand commercials and (2) I'm usually working. But I do watch the DVR playback and buy the season ticket from iTunes which is highly recommended by me.
