ok a point of clarification for whoever can clarify this lol so gabe is hunting vincent and cat is seen with vincent meaning she is also now hunted (i mean if you are supporting a fugitive, u are a criminal too right?) so... when she walks in in the precinct, why are there no not that i really care about this to be fair but just saying I was thinking the same thing .... everyone has seen her on the CCTV with Vinc ... That's "aiding and abiding" straight up! Gabe also know's what the impact of his "witch hunt" for Vinc will do to Cat's future .... both legally and emotionally ... But he's out to make sure Vincent doesn't ruin her life....(he' doing that) How' is Cat loosing her job and possible jail...protecting her...GABE! That's why I think Gabe's vendeta is motaviated by more than jealous rage. At this point, I just don't get what Gabe could possible think what he's doing, could win Cat back ... Like he told Cat he's out to "destroy" Vincent .... (her comeback was cute... "You mean arrest him don't you" lol) And VinCat❤Destined, make it 4 for the club. Well, I suppose they could come back and make some weak attempt to have Gabe still wanting a relationship with Catherine, but honestly, that ship has sailed and he knows it. Everyone is on to him and one thing Cat will not get over is harm or threat to Vincent. And Gabe didn't hide his intentions in their last confrontation.

Exactly hence why so much will be about 'Gabe's manhunt for Vincent and how far he's willing to take it

So ADA Lowen wants to arrest Vincent because he is a danger to society and has 'killed' many innocent people? The ADA wants to uphold the law? Well then he should handcuff himself , walk into a jail cell and lock himself inside and throw away the key!! Did he forget the murders he committed last season?

I thought the same thing...in numerous occasion he did do that with Dana London and in the same episode with Gabe and Catherine. So yeah why didn't he? I also questioned that part of the episode. But then I thought maybe Catherine wouldn't have allowed him to. She was talking a lot about not needing to be saved or protected, so I think he just felt she would refuse if he offered. Who knows, the writers know best! I am probably wrong, but I felt that that moment was about her choosing to continue the climb with him, showing an understanding that they had a steep mountain to climb and that in the future, either one of them may question their choice again..but never turn back, because they can depend on each other's strength, when they are feeling weak, to encourage them, to lead the way but to never just do it for the other because that would be easier. The episode had a theme of them going back and forth about what was best for each person, but, at the end of each conversation, they both chose being together as the best thing for each of them individually.

Also, I liked that he held his hand out to her and she put her hand in his and said, "Where are we going?" This shows that it was her decision to be with him through thick and thin; a message that would not have been conveyed if he had carried her. I really liked that scene.

As far as Gabe goes, I can "buy" him as the jilted lover seeking revenge, and I believe that is how the character has been written. I certainly could not see him as the "baddie, baddie"; that;s not how he comes across to me. I really hope they have a formidable adversary for our Scooby gang in store for us. It is almost comical when Gabe says he'll destroy Vincent-really, with what? ? He is like the big bad wolf who isn't scary at all, and the Fab 4 are not afraid of him; so let him huff and puff as much as he wants; we know who's going to get burned at the end. I'm still waiting for the REAL BADDIE to appear; come out, come out, wherever you are!!!!!!

At this point he still has control of his "beast" per say..Once he loses it TOTALLY the real BAD will be BAD BAD! LOL

@locaxbatb: A baddie you say?? Hmmmm... perhaps this is the baddie we've been waiting on... This is what Vincent should have done to Gabe: Gabe got off pretty easy from Vincent, not so much from Catherine though!! I never saw that slap coming. I knew things were gonna get ugly when she told him to clear the room, but dang!! I can still hear and see that slap!!

I agree ArwenFan, the UN stairs scene was one of my favorites in the ep. (nothing beats "the slap", lol) @locaxbatb, Your interpretation of the episode's theme is exactly what I saw repeated over and over..... It's a progression...2x17 's theme was:... Vinc and Cat professing their love for each other, but working separately to protect the one they loved. Cat has to get over her "don't protect me" and realize that's a demonstration of love, not control.... and the way guys are wired. Vinc needs to keep respecting her choices, and realize Cat has a lot of good ideas and work with her not against. I think for both this is getting easier, because they finally realize the future they both want is "together" and they're strongest when they work that way.

This episode is GOOD!! VERY GOOD!! Lots of great action and suspense and drama. Everyone's brought their "A" Game so far tonight! Finally a nice use of JT and Tess, apart and together and part of the Fab Four! Gabe, Gabe, Gabe...................you DEVIL! Sendhil is a good Baddie! Kristin has totally mastered her fight scenes...........YOU ROCK KRISTIN!! Plus, I liked her hair when she was in the UN....

Vincent looked almost like a little boy sitting on the edge of Cat's roof. So sweet.
