Can I point out how hot it was the kiss? It had to be among the shortest kisses of VinCat, but it was so full of confidence from Vincent's part and full of concern from Catherine's part.
And it took all my worries away.
After all, who kiss like that in sucha stressful situation and is not making up, right?

Yes, I find the nephew not recognizing Vincent odd too. I mean, come on! Yes, he was 6 when he last saw him (right?), but hasn't he ever looked at family albums, photos, I don't know you name it! It's weird That to me was a Major Flaw!! Aaron has to be at least mid to late 20s, so he would be born around late 1080s to 1990. His father died Sept 11, 2001 & Aaron would've been between 11 & 16 yrs old. They were such a close family. That's why it hurt Vincent so much when his brothers died! It's totally ridiculous telling us he hadn't seen his uncle since he was 6yrs old!!! Very sloppy storyline!
Even Catherine recognized Vincent 10 yrs after seeing him for a few seconds, in a dark forest.
You know, sometimes I get the feeling that the writers are not totally in sync with each other. I'm not obviously talking about Sherrie and Jennifer, as they are partners. But there are sometimes plot holes which are quite silly (no offense!). I mean for such creative writers to make these mistakes, or to simply forget some previously mentioned facts/detailed, it's quite odd! I know they have this "writers' room" and "work" together, but maybe they just run ideas and story lines by each other, and actually "write" the script individually...or in Jen & Sherrie's case in duo. And very good point beastiegirl, Catherine remembered him after 10 years, and she'd seen him in the dark and she was terrified to death for God's sake. But STILL she remembered him.

Well that may be so but Catherine wasn't 6 the last time she saw him. There's a difference between the two cases.

True, but when someone is your uncle, you have memories with them, and judging from the flashbacks, very happy ones. They stick with you, in your mind, forever. And again, family albums/photos?!!
