Totally agree with you! As much as they are trying to show (or hint) that Gabe is romantically interested in Catherine... I'm suspicious and I don't think that writters are REALLY going there. My opinion is that they are playing with us, making us believe that he has feelings for her (maybe that's why they put so many lines on Tess about him liking Cat... to reinforce that feeling!), but I think it's quite clear that he has a hidden agenda and at some point around mid-season hiatus we will figure out what it is!Maybe Gabe teasing Tess by saying "my feelings doesn't matter, bla bla bla"... is the way that he can distract Tess from his real intentions. Tess is a smart girl (even though this season they are not exploding the character too much) and she has noticed that Gabe is highly interested in Cat AND VINCENT! For Gabe is the perfect escape to let Tess suspect that he's falling in love with Cat so she doesn't look further for his real reasons. I mean, who buys that a guy who is falling in love with a girl is pushing SO HARD trying to help that girl's potential boyfriend (meaning Vincent) so they can be together again?? Amends for trying to kill him 3 months ago and Cat saving his life??? yeah... of course... Exactly! He's up to something, which I don't think is a good thing, or in VinCat's favor

I'm a little bit disappointed with Vincent. It's kinda obvious that William was his hero and he specifically told him that their mom wouldn't stand to lose all her children. And he still enlisted, knowing that there was a huge chance of dying. Sad.

I always enjoy his reviews. He manages to capture the essence of the episodes so well. Its like he understands the show and what the writers are trying to put across. Great review. U should write this under his comments column - exactly this Ok, I will.

She is hating the main couple being together? . . . well, OK. But leaning on each other (as she called it) is very different from getting back into a relationship. Seemed to me that they are "treading carefully" - not rushing back into something, JMO.

Totally agree with you! Agreed! Gabe just needs to stay single or be paired off with some ells, or go through a morning period since his girlfriend died only a few months before, like any normal man would. Another comment and might have been brought up in the other fifteen pages of this thread, but has anyone done the math and realized that Aaron is either sixteen or seventeen now if the last time Vincent saw him his was six and it's been ten years, and you have to be twenty-one to be a firefighter in NYC (yes I did google it) just me being nit picky here. Other wise I love this episode! I'll just quote myself here to reply to you (because I'm lazy like that):But sometimes obvious things are in front of your eyes and you just don't notice it. What about Aaron's age? If he was six the last time he saw Vincent, how old is he now?
The only explanation I have for it is that, for some completely non canon reason, he stopped seeing his uncle for, like what, 20 years? Or maybe now, FDNY is accepting twelve year old teenagers in its corporation, who knows?
It really doesn't make any sense! That was really sloppy.

Actually, several people brought this up several times, around pg 4-7 [including myself] & were shot down in flames. I did a rough "Guesstimate" as you can see in my Quote below. One more thing I'd like to add: Being a Chicago Fire Fan, with an attitude like Aaron's & acting the way he did, I feel a Probie wouldn't last 1/2 hr in that Fire Hall.

Maybe the writers should tap into this Beastie Database to keep things believable. George RR Martin, writer Game of Thrones calls a Super Fan to clarify things! [It's true! He mentioned that in a clip]

I have been pondering the left handed move every time I see this scene... Impressive, ah, dexterity with the left hand then... I would have spilled water all over her... lol. ETA *Notes to sel<edited> Way to open up the can of hungry beastie worms talking about JR's dexterity. It is almost as bad as the accommodation discussion. Mercy.
