Can someone explain this to me please? I heard that Vincent walked in on Heather having a shower!! What was that about? What were the writers trying to prove here? You think the writes are hinting at another possible love triangle involving Heather??? Was this scene really necessary? I haven't watched the 2 episodes, but it's scenes like this that make me nervous about watching BatB again - especially after season 2....I so don't trust these writers anymore. no dont worry nothing of that kind. Vincent return home with special thought about Cat and when he heard the sound of the shower opens the curtain asking if she was looking for someone more. .. but when he saw heather just closed the curtain and walked away. And that caused an akward situation. The porpouse is that now Vincent has to learn how interact not only with JT but with other people related to Cat... and her little sister is a good way to start

It's just a sweet little scene where Vincent comes home to talk to Cat and hears the shower going. He takes off his t-shirt and says something like 'room for another one' but when he opens the curtain, Heather turns around and kinda screams. Vincent drops the curtain and goes out in embarrassment but Heather comes out in her robe and they sort it out.

Haven't found the time to watch again 302...but I'm glad many of you liked or loved it. Im sure the ep will grow on me if I rewatch, and as someone very well said (Vincat 3.0 maybe) it is so good to have new fresh Batb episodes!!

You.People.Are.KILLING.Me. I'm worried about an "Ever After" type of situation, where Catherine is made to look petty again. I saw the humor they were going for in that episode overall, yet it still kind of pitted VinCat against each other and uncommunicative in a way I didn't like. And WASN'T reflective of how BADLY they wanted to be together as a couple, no matter what. I mean, Catherine almost sucks the joy out of a sweet potential for SOME domestic bliss, and I DON'T need to see THAT again! I KNOW the showrunners/writers need to break up serious moments and moving the plot forward with little "breaks" of humor, but I have not liked how it makes the characters appear at times. I DON'T want Catherine to appear to be the girl that has to be told to value her relationship more than her stuff. It should be blatantly obvious to her and anyone that moving in means making a place "theirs" and not just him moving into "her" place. I frankly want to observe the pleasure in having the two of them decide how to make the place theirs, meaning they agree mutually to change the place. I mean, Catherine was so HAPPY about marrying Vincent and spending her life with him, so I don't want to see them moving 8 steps backwards for every half-step forwards. I'm not sure if petty is the right word, but she was definitely coming across as uncompromising and rigid, the best way I can describe it is "my way or the highway." Even Tess commented on it and I could tell Tess was getting a little bit tired of it always being the Catherine show. But back to the way it was affecting Vincent, I'm not sure why he didn't want to tell Cat about his "primal" issues, but I guess once Heather arrived (and made him aware of her situation, not to mention, she thought Vincent was having second thoughts, too) I could see why he'd be a bit hesitant to bring up his latest issue. On the one hand, I get that Vincent may feel that he is more trouble than he's worth no matter what Cat says, but on the other hand, c'mon! She clearly loves him and will stand by him through anything. What more does she need to do to convince him? IMO, that's getting old.

I thought i was the only one feeling this. Thank you. I just hope this issue gets cut down to a bare minimum in future episodes. Cause its getting to be a drag.

So, I am trying something new. While reading the thread, I'm just going to comment on posts that catch my eye and maybe piggyback on them with some of my own thoughts. First off, though, is JT the only who doesn't walk on his couch? I'm looking at you Vincent and Tess. texasscotian - See, I never thought JT and Tess had "couple" chemistry and that is why I'm not a fan of the pairing. But as I said last week, whatever. I loved it that Heather kissed Vincent on the cheek. It says to me that not only does Heather approve of Cat's relationship, but that she genuinely likes the man her sister is marrying. It was sweet and I kiss my BIL on the cheek quite often. He's a nice guy and I like him. That's the vibe I got and it makes me throw Heather some bonus points because this is a big step for her, especially since she was such a PITA where Vincent and Vincat were concerned in season 1. I will agree that Catherine talking Vincent down all the time and that being a focal point has worn out its welcome already. alwayscrazedbatbfan - There was some kissing, but not like last episode. But there was plenty of Vincat. They were just showing the work partnership side of the relationship more (as well as showing off two adults who have never lived with the opposite sex before and are feeling panicked). And it was nice to see Vincent showing off his medical knowledge. I guess the third time was the charm as far as being successful in getting rid of Thomas goes. Now Team Vincat will have to figure out the new big bad on their own, or so it seems. Heather is still annoying when she's on the screen for longer than 2 mintues. Really? Who takes a shower, I don't care if it is your sister's apartment, in a place where you no longer live? Especially when it's pretty obvious that Vincent is moving in (or did she just ignore the boxes all over the place)? She didn't even have the courtesy to let Catherine know she was there. So, the fact that she was busted in the shower was her own fault. Why would Vincent think SHE was in it? That's the kind of stupid stuff that Heather does that annoys the crap out of me. Her lack of boundaries and consideration. She's not a little kid or Cat's roommate anymore. She should know better. And yes, the scene paved the way for some funny interactions between V/C & H in the context of the episode, but IRL that would make me want to slap her, so I can't fully embrace Heather. tonysol - Cat doesn't have to kick ass every week to show that she's a strong and capable woman. I never doubted for one moment that she couldn't hold her own in any situation and neither does Vincent. She has a gun, a badge, and some pretty nifty hand-to-hand fighting skills. Anyone foolish enough to think otherwise will soon find themselves looking up at her from the floor. anapi -season3baby :) -season3baby - I get what you're saying. Although, I didn't dislike the episode, it didn't make a big impression like last week's episode. I didn't get the "primal" thing or why they needed to go there, but I didn't give it any more thought than chalking it up to the plot device it was to make certain things happen. I agree that there's too much of the same thing being said (I don't care if it's to different people). We get it--JT is worried. There is probably some nasty side affect waiting to bite him in the butt. Cat is the only one who can tame the beast. *snore* I think it's mildly interesting that Tess is considering the next step in her career, i.e. being the boss instead of a partner. That change of dynamics could be interesting. I thought Tess's brothers were first-class jerks and if I never have to waste any more time looking at them, I'm good with that. No wonder Tess is a hard case. kiki09 - One of the main things I liked in the hospital scene was Tess firing her gun, ordering everyone out and telling Vincent to go for it. Finally, Tess doing something to assist Vincent without Cat's urging. @luna76 - I died when Vincent had to squash the beginnings of a roar with a cough. That was too funny. Equally funny was when Vincent hung up on Heather. That was perfect. I also agree that the episode wasn't light. It had some light moments, but there was still the dangerous underbelly to deal with. @alisongladaboutseason4 - Great POV in your post. mocha83 and Laura- I totally agree with your opinions concerning JT and Tess. That relationship worked better when they were snarky friends. vincat-3.0 - I loved the scene with JT and Vincent playing video games, too. I didn't really care for (1) Cat having to talk Vincent down again and (2) Cat being superhuman freak whisperer and talking both men down. Really? REALLY? Please stop this now before I pluck my eyes out. I did like the fact that Tess suggested that Cat trust Vincent. Bonus points for Tess. Well, that's it for now. I've only seen the episode once and will have to rewatch when it airs in the U.S. on Thursday. Maybe I'll have more comments then.

I beg tptb not to saturate us with too much of that. It can detract us from Cat's much better qualities. lol

ArwenFan: Yes, I agree with you - don't need to see Cat beat somebody up every week, but I DO like to see Cat putting the hurt on some bad guys. The last time was when she killed He Who Must Not Be Named again in 2x21. Since KK has the training, it would be nice for them to use her skills. I also understand that it takes a lot of preparation and effort for those kind of scenes but so far they've been great ....very great! Anyway rereading the thread on 3x03 it seems I won't have to wait for long...

ArwenFan you're too funny about Heather! I disagree with you on her character, that I find cute and refreshing. And I'm happy she still has an important role in season 3, even if she often annoyed me when she was there at the wrong time and prevented our Vincat "to have fun". But here you have a point, she's the one in her sister's appartement and shower, where she no longer lives, so yes her fault. I haven't read all the comments, so sorry if it was discussed before, but I was just wondering if you think Tess could get the captain position at the precinct? or if it was just JT's fantasy? Don't know how I (and Cat) would like it if it were to happen
