at looking and listhening to Jay dam he's one fine looking man. On a side note loved loved the neck kiss that Vincent gave Catherine and hope they keep it in. Kristin and Jay's chemistry just seems to get better each season. :faintthud:God ... I could spend all day listening him ... and watching him.

I loved the episode! It was amazing! I've seen it four time already. I would love to have that first kiss in slow motion! It's amazing and hot, but have they dropped using tongue completely? I haven't seen that for a while compared to the early episodes and for some reason I really miss it. (I can't belief my focus points nowadays! ) Ehm. There was plenty of tonguing going on in the episode. They have grown more, to put it nicely, elegant and discreet about it? I say it all the time - there will never be a season 1 again and it's good so. There is only one season 1 and always will beI co-sign the bolded. S1 was so smooth like butter. lol As for V/Jay .. every time he opens his mouth... :thud: Like butta baby!!! Two words to the bolded: Lady Parts lolololol

301 Review Not sure if it is because I was BATB starved but this episode blew me away, it was everything that I wanted it to be and much more. First scene – Vincent doing a bit of parkour on his way to meet Cat. cool scene Vincat first scene and wow – that was like 2x19 end scene but x10 times hotter!! The way he grabbed her, their stares, cat provoking him – wow wow wow, on repeat! How can they have such intense chemistry that keeps getting better and better? and then the morning after scene and how he whispered good morning to her and their smiles… goofy face, me! I loved vincent’s “shyness” and very slight insecurity in this episode.I also loved J.T. in this episode and the fact that it was not just all about vincat. Austin Killed it in all his scenes and the lecture theatre scene was amazing Loved the simultaneous phone convo between cat/agents and tess/j.t.. Good convos between tess and cat and then cat and heather! Loved all the interactions and I felt they were real, adult convos I also really enjoyed the story of the week. It wasn’t really a story as such but the beginning of a wider/broader storyline and it offers great potential for continuity that the show lacked so far. We were given very little info, making me want to find out more and I feel bits will be revealed each episode until the episode 13 culmination. Lets hope they get this right. I also like that we are not dealing with full on beasts but superhumans or whatever they are – great potential. J.T. – Vincent! The bromance is back!! Loved it. And I loved vincents reaction when he announces he will ask Catherine to marry him Catherine to heather – he is my perk, not yours!! Dr. Vincent Keller made his appearance …. Vincent, really it is not good practice to ask on your first day of work when you can leave lol!!! But then again, you cant let “your girl” wait Good convo between J.T. and Tess and as above I like that we are exploring the after effects of the incident on J.T.! The wall street beast- agent fight was pretty cool I thought – generally I felt there was good mixture of action and romance in this episode. I am so glad the proposal was not in the restaurant - so not vincat-y. Loved it when Vincent called cat babe and I loved their fight once he realises what happened. Lots of fireworks and feels heather’s advice to cat made sense – again, great convo. J.T. knocking on Vincent’s door with his stick was funny and sweet at the same time – I adore how they are all so close to each other. (side note- how hot did Vincent look in this scene – and all other scenes but yeah this scene especially) the beast fight was kick ass I liked that they mirrored the s2ep8 scene and showed both how Vincent managed to control himself but also how strong their bond is. These two belong together the boathouse scene was great – you can trust cat to be good at getting her point across lol true to character – both of them felt so in character which I love the final scene – what can I say. This is probably gonna be my most watched batb scene ever – it is just perfect. Tops them ALL. I cannot think of anything that could be different (other than the zooming out a bit too quickly at the end). It was just pure perfection. It was vincat bliss – KK again killed it here with her performance and so did jay. This was me whilst watching the scene when he tells her “I am sorry I disappointed you” and she says “never” when he says without your love I’d be lost and then goes on his knees when he proposes and she accepts and tears up and how they put their hands around each others’ face. The feels are just too much! Ok and that is the end of my super deep episode review lol I just loved this episode and even though there were a couple of things I was less impressed with (mainly the somewhat repetitive lines and the fact that it was very dark at points), I know that this gonna be an amazing season!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Savana_ Dying for season3! on Jun 8, 2015 15:44:14 GMT -5
Ok, here goes my review, which will be fast for 2 reasons: 1st. I don't have too much time 2nd. I agree with everything anapi -season3baby :) said and the gifs she used!!!! lol I just want to point out few things more... In this ep I could totally see Vincent from s1 but improved (aka Vincent 3.0). His vulnerability, insecurity, he is more relaxed and sweet than the robot we saw in first part of s2... I felt all characters were again themselves!!!!! Thank god! I also like a lot that support characters are going to have their own storyline. First because it gives more quality to the show and second because it might help with ratings? (a girl can hope) I was pleasantly surprised by scifi effects. Quite cool! I enjoyed absolutely ALL convos of the episode. They are more mature and still keep some lightness and fun (especially coming from Heather and JT and his especial sense of humor!) I was very touched feeling the bond between Vincent and JT. They are like in s1 again! Vincent is full back (sorry I repeat myself) I found very poetic and totally intentional the scene when Catherine is trying to stop Vincent from killing the "bad" guy. I think they did it on purpose, to show that, this time, their love is strong and Vincent would not give up. It totally worked for me. Loved all the scenes at the hospital. From the welcome from the sharp nurse (omg! poor vincent!) to Vincent using his beastly senses to diagnose the injured agent... I mean... everything! About hot/romantic/cute/AMAZINGLY CRAZY IN LOVE scenes: first one wow wow, the fight, omg! loved it! how good actors are KK and JR? the convo at the boathouse when V tells C "I will always want you that will never change" be still my heart!!!!! and well, THE end scene... that was just a master piece of romanticism: simple, deep, full of emotions, the perfect amount of words... and the stares... oh my their facial expressions! How vulnerable was Vincent in the proposal? He was not sure at all about C's answer! you could totally see it in his face while he was kneeling in front of her and asking her to marry him!!! and how lovely KK performed the surprise, realization and then emotion of the moment!!! LOVED KK laughs! EVERYTHING about that scene is just perfect. How they kiss, V's face while he kisses her, the second time he asks her, just to be sure, THE HUG!!!!! amd what about the song!?? PEEEERRRFECT AGAIN! Well, I will just say I cry every time I watch the scene... The post was supposed to be short... but hey, it's my first review after one year (or bit less) and of one of the best episodes of the show (still struggling to decide if it is THE best episode yet... I will check with my BB to see if they convince me in one or other way!) Can't wait for the airing in USA and read everyone else's opinions! So far I see we all agree yay! Also a bit scared about rating news on friday.. oh my, ups and downs of a beastie... but I wouldn't want it otherwise!!!!!!!

Rewatched now...do you remember the script tease pic by Catherine Ashton "scene 3 Vincent and Catherine ripping each other's cloches"? Wondering if the scene was cut because I wouldn't describe Vincent's quikly helping her out of her jacket "ripping each other's cloches"... Ok not complaining that scene was great...just not going to trust scripts next time Also (ok admitting to have played it several times) they could have shown the neck kiss from the other side..I wouldn't have minded seeing Vincent's mouth on her... But last scene, rewatch after rewatch remains Perfect!

Just it did bug me a little, they are making it out to be Vincent has to be dependent on cat to bring him back from crossing the line...I don't know... I would have liked to see him control himself without her there; even if it were just a flashback of him thinking about her..But to have her actually there made it like he definately would've killed the guy & cat is the only way to stop him :/ I know they are trying to make it a 'fate/destiny' thing & that they are meant to be together for more than 'love'. Totally agree with you on the Vincent being able to control himself. I just wrote something about it before I read your post. We are on the same wavelength. I believe his emotionally stable enough now not to lose himself, if he killed someone. its just repetitive and needs to stop. i don't understand this part either ?! not just in this ep but since S2 ! i got that turning to a cold blood killer would cost him his humanity --- but they made it like if he kills anyone even if its justified then he will loss his humanity ! Reynolds told Cat that he can't kill Gabe without losing it even when Gabe turned himself to a monster kills for fun ! i wouldn't say that even the most peaceful and good people could kill if they have to , for ex: self defend is acceptable in any court in the world -- because maybe the case is different for beasts ! but V did killed people in S1 without losing his humanity , he did that for good reasons of course but still he did it without losing control ! so what did change now ?! -- all i can think of is that Mr. Kern wants to treat S1 like it never happened like the show started with S2 when he took charge ! --- anyway its kind of romantic and connected more to the fairytale when the beauty was the one who turned the beast to a real prince inside and outside -- so they keep repeating now that he would be lost without their love , and according to the spoilers we got they will keep playing on the theme that Cat is his gem ( literally) yeah its romantic and i think we can live with it , especially because the beginning of the season was very promising i am not got at giving review but for me it was the perfect mixture of every thing 8Dit was more romantic and hot than most of S2 although those scenes still short and in the dark but i don't think our hearts can take it the other way :faintthud:on a second thought i think we all more than willing to take that risk but still vincat scenes are very lovely and decent in this episode i specially loved the vincat interaction and the small details -- like the many times they both said how much they love their life together and their future -- when she told him in the houseboat that she loves him more than anything :flirty:and in the rooftop proposal when he said sorry to disappointed and she replied ( never ) and his face when she said those words in both scenes i also loved the bro bond between V/JT as some said it was something missing a lot of time in S2 and i am glad its back and the sister bond was good too , wow the little sister grew up and now she give relationship advice ! a good advice too ! who would expect it

Ok now rewatched . I underline all that I said before ... For me the opening and the end scene have such a great chemistry it feels like the chemistry between K and J grow up. In the whole ep you can feel the VinCat love even in their fight. The convo between Cat and Heather is matured and cute. I like the expressions in V and Cat faces. This life he lives now is in a way new for ihm and in every scene you can see the vulnerability of V. I love when V tells Cat that he will always want her that will never change - how strong their bond now is. Both Cat and V know now how strong their love is. Really a Great ep.
And oh did somebody knows the Song in the proposal scene, I couldn't get it out of my mind. LOL
