SERIOUSLY--that scene in "Operation: Fake Date!" I love the way he just STALKS/crawls over to her, with that sexy grin on his face. And the way she looks back at him--a look of total adoration and love and humor and indulgence, all in one. And how he clearly had her the moment they made eye contact. Yet she won't put back on the wig (because she wants him right then, right there, I tell ya!!!! Can't wait and take time to put some stupid wig back on that would only fall off due to their "movements" and -ahem- physical exertions)!
THAT is what I want most to see on my screen this upcoming season: those sweet little, can't-help-themselves moments where they are all over each other, just because THEY CAN!! I mean, that was what made such a little moment in "Operation: Fake Death" so POWERFUL was that they were in the moment, celebrating FINALLY being free. So they naturally want to celebrate together. They have that INTIMACY as well as that ROMANCE and PASSION. You see that again at the end of "Deja Vu" as well. And as sexy as Vincent looks brooding, he looks panty-dropping excellent perfection-personified when he is happy and looking lovingly at Cat!!!!

HAVE to add: "Heart of Darkness" --the Subway Scene between VinCat at the end of the episode.
That scene was BEAUTIFUL. Vincent telling Catherine that he is in AWE of her. How he loves her strength. She is obviously still so devastated over Evan's death (which KK plays SO WELL--I mean, there is shock, regret, utter heartbreaking sadness, especially because Evan literally used his last moments to type an email taking the blame for himself to keep Cat out of trouble). Yet Vincent knows JUST what she needs to hear, and he clearly means every word.
And how he says that he can NO LONGER imagine life without her in it!!! LOVED THIS!
This particular scene means so much to me because it is so symbolic of the VinCat bond--how even in their darkest moments, they reach for one another and provide comfort, enough to keep fighting the good fight. So not only do they have the romance and passion, BUT they have that COMMITMENT to one another through the worst of times and DEVOTION and EMPATHY for one another's pain. And Vincent gives Cat the strength to begin planning against Muirfield rather than just reacting or fleeing.
SO LOVED THIS!!! Is Also something that I expect to see more of in Season 3!

Because I have been commenting on it elsewhere, I will add one thing I loved about "Ever After" (even if the episode as a whole didn't sit well with me--although Season 3 is rapidly curing what ailed from this episode).
I LOVED how much Vincent wanted a life with Catherine. That man was nothing but THRILLED to be in suburbia with Catherine. He actually was content just being stuck at home with the little missus! He wanted for nothing more than to cook meals for her and spend time with her. He obviously loved christening the house with her! Vincent truly was happy with a purposeless life (albeit probably temporarily since they didn't actually get to remain long enough to see) as long as it was with Catherine. Vincent really didn't even miss JT, and I LOVED how Vincent "pouted" and talked to the fish about Catherine being unable to be happy. Yet Vincent loved her enough to come around to her point of view, or at least acknowledge that he LOVED that Catherine DID have to kick butt to be happy!
From 213 forward, you just don't have to doubt that Vincent truly loved Catherine. Even in 211 and 212, it was obvious, even if Vincent was still "in denial" about wanting to go his separate ways from Cat. He so easily fell back into talking with her about their case together and seguing into what else was going on (like Catherine fixing to burn her kitchen down again!).
And I LOVED Vincent's sheer JOY at simple domestic tasks with Catherine in both "Ever After" and "Deja Vu." I AM SO HOPING that the writers will give us these little moments in Season 3. I WANT to see VinCat putting up pictures of their life TOGETHER. They are often so "in the moment" with each other, that I STILL think they have never simply paused to take a simple photo together!

"Bridesmaid Up!" has so MANY of those perfect little moments--from Vincent realizing that Cat actually filled out the WHOLE huge application process for the dating service AND that her "perfect guy" and "perfect date" were ALL obviously all about him! And his whole SHY BOY look when he approaches her at the wedding. And telling her that he BEGGED JT to let him come in his place. And how he LOOKS at her when they dance. . . .(Please allow moment for computer user to wipe excess drool from keyboard.) And just the whole conversation between Cat and Vincent in the beginning of the episode shows how close they have become. And how badly she wants him to come with her to the wedding in the first place. And yes, even Season 2 had its moments. I still love those turning-point moments in "Held Hostage." The way Vincent and Catherine fight together and how they communicate, even when someone is trying to choke Catherine! She is able to say so little yet clue Vincent in to the fact that the gem is keeping him from beasting out. And the WAY Vincent looks when he sees the sniper rifle dot aimed at Catherine--he reacts immediately to save her. Any information from the guy just is worthless to him if Catherine were to die--Vincent's priorities are FINALLY coming back to what they should be! And just the MOMENT when Vincent and Catherine are both on the ground STARING at each other, and she says that he stayed and he says that she turned out the lights for him. And they are looking so sincerely and deeply into one another's eyes. I also like that it is thereafter clear that Vincent wants Catherine back in his life. Supposedly, it is just to work together, but the LOOKS between them say otherwise. And 216 "About Last Night"--The phone call. Yep, I enjoyed Vincent having to be the one to call Cat pleading that their night together meant something after the way he had treated her in "Kidnapped." Sorry, Vincent, but you had that one coming. For both of them, sex will NEVER be able to be just one night or just some casual encounter. Still, Cat is trying to deny the obvious in the phone call, and Vincent lets her know that it was NOT just one night for him--he wants it to be the first of forever. I love how Catherine tries to say that she HAS to move forward, but by next episode, she admits that her moving forward HAS to be with Vincent! But I loved how THIS phone call ends, with Vincent saying that he will NOT stop fighting for THEM! (At this point, he could barely be heard above my scream of "hallelujah, about TIME this season!" In "About Last Night," I even love the squabbling between VinCat at the masquerade ball. (First off, HAVE to say it--PLEASE let them find an excuse for a masquerade ball each season because DANG, but don't VinCat look FABULOUS and DELICIOUS all dressed up so fine!) I actually LOVED that Vincent had to work so hard to convince Catherine to be with him because Catherine had had to go through the same for the first half of season 2. Catherine DESERVED to know that she was worth fighting for and to see Vincent make the effort. But I LOVED LOVED LOVED how Vincent really put it all out there about what revenge costs you in that scene with Sam. It is everything that Catherine needed to hear, as Vincent CLEARLY realizes what his actions cost him. And how hard Vincent works to save Sam. So she sees that everything she loves about her man-beast is BACK BABY! And that bedroom scene in "About Last Night." --Those LOOKS between the two! And the way she runs her hand down his back and how he smiles in response. And how he jokes with Catherine but then becomes so serious when he says, "I never want to hurt you again." So sweet, so meaningful, so swoonworthy. Must now actually go type some actual work on my computer. Sigh. Why must work intrude into perfectly good Beastie rememberances? And just must say--a shoutout to International Beasties. You ARE most likely the whole reason I still have a BATB show to watch here in the US!! So you ALWAYS have my love. Plus, you Canadians are so talkative and give me details about upcoming episodes so that I can get even more excited about them while I suffer the excruciating pain of a 4 day wait from when you guys saw it! So, my LOVE ALWAYS to International Beasties!!!ABSOLUTELY! Yes, gracious and patient International Beasties. Here the North American's are fighting over a few days difference of an air date (No, I'm not getting into that debate here....) and yet many may have to wait months for the first episode of season three to air in their own country. And for all those that shall add the entire episode one of season three to this "historic moments" list - here's hoping for the entire season to fit here. Oh yes, I know, we'll need a new thread for "historic" season three. alwayscrazedbatbfan - love your write up by the way. I am right there with you alwayscrazedbatbfan! Our dear International Beasties are to be treasured! Their drive, support and determination helps us keep this outstanding show on the air! To you all may I say, Maraming Salamat, Tack, Mh goi, hartelijk dank, tak, hartelijk dank, Cheers, Dankegon, Merci, dankewol, Vielen Dank, Efharisto, Mahalo, Dhanyavaad, Takk, Go raibh mile maith agat, grazie, Arigato, Kamsa hamaida, gratias agimus, grassie, Dziekuje, Spasibo balshoye, Fa'afetai tele lava, Moran Taing, Gracias a todos, Khop Khun Mak, Diloch yn fawr, Kiaora Koe and welalin! To any of our beloved Beasties whom I missed in these personal expressions, know our hearts go out to you for joining with us!

Once again, I am pouting about having to wait STILL YET more days until I can see what the Canadians (and those choosing to be semi-legal "Canadians" through -ahem--sources) have already been able to see, re-see and talk to death.
So I am CHOOSING to use the time wisely to remember my favorite moments (ESPECIALLY in thinking how I would like that to translate into potential Season 3 moments--guess that is for another thread!).
AHHH VinCat--the memories, as I zone to my visual and emotional pleasure place regarding their past actions!
And in no particular order of pleasurable goodness---
---Anniversary: Okay, the spat at the Gentleman's Club between VinCat was SO HOT! Him trying to warn her away from Gabe and tell her that he had the RIGHT to tell her who she could be around! KK is GREAT at playing a petulant and angry Catherine, she just is. I love assertive Catherine and over-protective I-will-be-the-man-and-tell-you-what-to-do Vincent, who also manages to pull a truculent adolescent style pouty-face! Again, there was the PASSION, even when fighting like two-year-olds.
(But it was also SO CUTE when Vincent apologized and did EVERYTHING he could to make it up to Cat. Also the way KK has Catherine laughing at Vincent admitting to BEASTING OUT and destroying the cell phone after hearing Gabe's voice!)
Anniversary is just proof that even when fighting, they're hotly passionate about one another and might STILL tear their clothes off at any given moment! To me, the moment on the roof was almost a let-down in that the two were all calm. Romantic, yes, but calm--not like the passion earlier. Yet was still so sweet and cute---OBVIOUSLY, I love VinCat in all its various stages and forms!
---Date Night: The scene where "Guiding Light" plays for the first time with VinCat by the garbage bin discussing their potential future. Honestly, this was SO VINCAT, just the location. I mean seriously, they HAD to have THAT conversation by a garbage bin? Yet they are in the moment. The scenery is irrelevant, because ALL THEY SEE is each other and their potential. And are ADMITTING that they WANT a future, complete with dreams and white picket fences and little VinCat beastly babies running around!! (All of which would make me freaking happy!!!)
(AND I LOVED Tess' comment on Catherine looking so sappily at the toddler in the elevator, when ALL Tess sees is the potential RUIN of her pool fun by a child! And her describing Cat as "salivating" for this full life with Vincent!!)
---Kidnapped: That boathouse scene was phenomenal. How Catherine is able to intrinsically get Vincent to trust her. And finds the way to logically give him a reason to GET CLOSE TO HER, touch her, LOOK INTO HER EYES. . . Of COURSE Vincent was lost in them. Vincent didn't stand a chance of resisting her. I loved how they showed all the little things that Catherine knows about Vincent. And of course she knows his favorite sandwich. And how easily it was for the two to begin talking and interacting together. And the WAY Cat says, "we did more than just KISS." (And Vincent's later comment after Cat asks him if he remembers anything, "maybe if we did it again?"--heeheehee. Thereafter, the episode went to the lowest level of purgatory, but it could NOT erase those other wonderful scenes for me.
All right. I need supper and sleep since I have 2 FULL DAYS of being in court for TRIAL. At LEAST when court gets out at 5:00 p.m. on THURSDAY, it will only be a few short hours before BATB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi to all fellow beasties I'm a bit late coming to this topic becuase my stupid bigcomputer was playing up but now all is well and I just wanted to add my favourites which is a lot from season 1 and not so much from season 2 but from season 1 let's see: In no partcular order: Bridesmaid Up even now everytime I watch that episode it really does bring a flutter to my heart and Jay in a tux was just but aside from that sight the episode was just so symbolic of what the theme of the couple are which is romance and KK and Jay play it so well the chemistry and connection is just there and I will never tire of that episode no matter how many year's pass and Catherine's line to Vincent about him not being fake but he's the real thing was just jaw dropping. Anniversary loved how Vincent just sat on her window sill waiting for her to wake up with a hot coffee and told her about her cute nose scrathing that she does it was just so sweet and very Vincent. And after watching season 2 I wish that Catherine would have told Gabe what she told Vincent when he told her that she had to cut Vincent out of her life I was literally shouting at my tv saying come on Catherine tell him what you told Vincent ' You can't forbid me to see anyone' but she never did and that's one of the thing's I hated in season 2 was how for a while at least Catherine was so going along with Gabes orders really where Vincent was concerned Heart of Darkness The subway talk was just Loved then and still do now when I re watch season 1 Vincent's line to Catherine about how he found her ' Because I never stop looking' and then the epic talk and hug was just romantic even though it was on the subway. And I did like in season 2 episode 1 that when they found Vincent that Catherine told him ' I never stopped looking for you' and the way she held his face and looked at him with such releif and love that she'd finally found him. The first masquerade ball in season 1 The way that Vincent look's at the dress hanging up and Catherine ask's him if he like's it his look is oh yea and then when he goes to the ball and see's her coming down the stairs and lifts his mask again the sheer love and admiration he show's without having to say anything is just and then he tell's her he's distracted. And of course the kiss at the end when Vincent think's that Catherine is just going to walk away and he tell's her to wait and just plants a kiss on her. The second ball to I loved when they had to call Vincent to take Gabe's place because for me Catherine looked so ill at ease with Gabe and when he put the ring on her finger her face was like :shockedsmiley:oh my god this just doesn't feel right and it was only pretend just like when he offered her a key to his place again the look on her face said it all. But Vincat walking in together all dressed up and Vincent having his arm around her back lovingly was so cute loved their talk and poor Vincent's face when Catherine said that they'd have to split up he too was like I loved too how when he helped Catherine out even though she did'nt ask for any she was like ' I don't need a knight in shining armour' and Vincent's ' Change I'll show you change Catherine Candler' love it when he uses her full name and when Gabe ask's if everything is alright and they say 'yes' and 'no' together so Vincat. Loved to how when Gabe tried to tell Catherine not to go upstairs she ignored him and said ' Let's go' to Vincent' was just classic and Vincent's reply was something like I don't make desisons for her I was like ' In your face Gabe' and the look behind when he and Catherine are being scanned before going into the elevator again for me is like in your face and I was like and of course the ending on their rooftop was nice and the morning scene was the way she run's her hand down his back with a big smile on her face and who could blame her having such a fine man in your bed. Kidnapped I did love most of it especially when their on the houseboat and he's making her a sandwich for me in that moment the lighting, the look's between them, talking about what they did before he got taken and of course the kissing that was hoottttt, and you can clearly see that when his alarm goes off that he doesn't want to leave Catherine because he sighs and then turns to get up so for me he was clearly conflicated about leaving this beautiful woman and going to do what he had been programmed to do. This is just a few that I can think off the top of my head as I've literally only been away for about a hour and half. I just hope that BKern and everyone else involved in writing the show and especially Vincat have learnt their mistakes from season 2 and what did and did'nt work and that we get the sweet moments back again some hot and heavy scenes would be nice especially now that Dr Keller is back doing his rounds but I don't think we'll get another AMP but that too was one of my favourites of all time but some steamy moments would be good I watch the show online as we don't get it back in the UK until the 9th July and no way could I wait that long to see it or chat with my fellow beasties and am over the moon to know that Watch the channel that shows it has already ordered season 4 happy day's. Oh just remebered another episode I like or scene is when Catherine goes to her mom's grave that she's been going to for 10yrs and it's nighttime Vincent is waiting for her to finish talking to her mom and she walks over to him and say's ' The serum worked' and then they start walking out of the cemetary and stop to talk some more and Vincent tell's her that he'd do it all over again if it meant she could be in his life those words and the look on his face was so genuine and I for one am really glad that they did'nt kiss then because for me they wasn't quite ready for that and that point but it was just lovely seing Vincent letting Catherine know that she wasn't alone and that he would be there to help and support her in finding the answers she wanted. I too loved how he did'nt intrude when she was talking to her mom but waited for her to finish and walk to him that was respect in my book. Ok I really have to go now and get a hot cup of coffee other wise heaven know's what dribble I will start typing, hope this post hasn't bored anyone and there are a lot more episodes from season 1 that I love and a few from 2 but I'll save that for another day. All beasties have a good day

SweetRosie29,
The Subway Scene in "Heart of Darkness" still remains one of my all-time faves. And I had never thought about how Catherine's saying to Vincent that she never stopped looking for him was a mirror of what he said to her in this scene! LOVE THAT!!!
(And that is another thing I love about BATB episodes--you always find that little something you missed or failed to see during each re-watch! Especially at the end of a season, it is wonderful to go back and see the season all over again to appreciate the season's particular arc.)
Even though there were multiple other moments in the episode, I also still love the beginning and ending scenes of "Saturn Returns." Vincent is literally tossing and turning because he can't get Cat out of his mind--even JT realizes this is the reason for Vincent's being so amped up because "you must have seen Cat." And the way Vincent looks when he says how Catherine makes him feel like he has a life again!
Loved the ending of "Saturn Returns" (up until the moment Vincent fugued out) where Vincent clearly wants to go to Cat's for the dinner. He looks in the mirror at himself where he has previously punched the mirror in anger. Yet Cat gives him hope for the future, and I loved seeing how he was obviously planning to buy Cat flowers to take to her apartment, something he later actually does in "Liar Liar."

If I could lament on the bolded. That to me solidified VinCat's epicness. They were in a league all their own and no body could tough them. They were unstoppable and undeniable. V's "I am in awe of you." -got me right in the heart and still echoes to this day. Memorable lines like that resonate because of the beautiful acting and just the moment in and of itself was just ripe with a lot of emotions, you couldn't help but just get caught up in the moment with them. I didn't want the scene to end, it was the last scene!!! I rewound that part so many times i lost count. 2.18 is in my top ten greatest BatB episodes for sure.
