Look what I found.
Nina Lisandrello @ninalisandrello #Beasties can we please calm down with all the @bridgetregan drama and deal with a real issue? I NEED frozen yogurt, but it's outside. Retweeted by Beauty and The Beast Expand Reply Retweet Favorite More....

suzieq and hcastro, so very well said, totally agree. I was a bit baffled by the comments from a mature actress too, but certainly don't think the whole fan base of BatB is represented by those mean tweets. Back to more important news....
Almost down to 24 hrs until we finally (hopefully) get some answers in this episode!!!!

SuzieQ...again, I couldn't have said it better myself. I feel bad for her, but let's be honest. It's one thing if they were personally attacking her, it's another if they were bashing the character. We don't really know and I find it a bit disconcerting that it's painting all BATB fans in a harsh light. Sure there are idiots out there and I'm sure she got some criticism, but I find that she's trying to garner some sympathy. And I do sympathize with her to an extent....but, she's not the first celebrity to get trashed in social media and she won't be the last. I don't like that this getting all this attention and that Kristin had to address it....Kristin is such a class act and if there is anyone who knows what it feels like to receive hate about her character, it's her. And not once did I ever see Kristin complain about it. Gee, thanks everyone, ....I almost didn't really express this, because I really didn't want to come off uncaring or unsympathetic, but exactly what you said hcastro............"not once did I ever see Kristin complain about it. " I am glad you said it, because I thought exactly the same thing !(we are so on the same wavelength ;D) I didn't want to call attention to it, but frankly, it needed to be said. Again, I don't know what has been said......but, most places I visit and read, I don't see the kind of vitriol that would warrant this kind of widespread drama. Can't Beasties disagree or critique aspects of the show without fear of some people wanting to censor it? As long as it is thoughtful and well supported, I think many comments are made because we care about the show and I honestly think that the writers want to read these kind of comments. This forum provides that kind of venue to expand our thoughts and perspectives. I really enjoy everyone's viewpoints here at this forum. I may not agree with some things, but it causes me to think differently and I may change my opinion. This kind of forum allows much more input and insight than 140 character Tweets could possibly give. If the Exec. Prod. or writers are basing their opinions on just Tweets from some BaTB fans, they are missing the boat entirely. I think the forum here has provided some great dialogue....it takes some time to go through, but it is very enlightening, and it shows the real passion people have for the show, because they really take the time to express their thoughts and feelings. The writer's did say in one of their Tweets, that they do read the forums........I don't know which ones......I assume this forum would be at the top of the list since it was the first one established. So.....if BaTB "Tweets" hold the most "influence", it is a shame that a few fans have caused so much negativity that the showrunners or cast have to mention it. Because, I think this fandom has been so energetic, positive and all round COOL!!

I was actually on Twitter earlier and saw some of the posts. Some tweets were actually about Bridgette and not Alex. One poster was even bold enough to tell her in all caps might I add that she doesn't like BR at all, that she doesn't exactly hate her, but made it a point to fully explain that she doesn't like her. The reason was unknown.

As a fandom, we are all very passionate about this show, however some people are just taking this a bit too far with attacking BR on her twitter telling her things like "I don't like you BR". However, for TVGuide.com to post on article about it and BR commenting about it, doesn't make our fandom look very good. I'll be surprised if we do get any kind of Producer's Review from the producers after all of this backlash. It really sheds a negative light on the fans as well as the show itself.

Sounds more personal. That's just not acceptable and over the line. That is when Beasties need to call these people out on that kind of behavior.

These posters were being reprimanded for their behavior by other beasties (the sane ones) ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/3528323/images/ZuMlUCaFyDCcpMsffkIx.gif)

One more day Beasties! I have to say that I'm finally getting excited about tomorrow's ep. Ever since On Thin Ice aired, I've been almost completely detached from the show. I mean, it's just a TV show, and this is how i usually am with any of the shows that I watch, except BATB. But I've been so enthralled with BATB since October that it almost feels weird to not really care, and not think about it or obsess about it for 24-7. Anyone else felt this way this past week? I mean, I think I was just tired of all the unnecessary BS drama with Alex, as opposed to (IMO) good drama. I'm really hoping that something MONUMENTAL happens tomorrow to bring back that "lovin' feelin'" for the show. I'm excited b/c I'm assuming (like everyone else, I think) that the healing will begin tomorrow and the show will go back to what we all fell in love with.... Then we'll all be one big happy family again ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/3528323/images/VXaXmqxPYEXwPLIbyvaH.gif) .

I too have been wary of watching these recent episodes. I actually watched On Thin Ice "with one eye open". As soon as I could tell the towel scene was coming, I flipped the channel until I felt it was safe to watch the show again! I will probably watch Cold Turkey nervously too. I think I'm afraid to see something that ticks me off ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/3528323/images/yjoN2i4D9yak9irzPqii.gif) (or makes my stomach turn - as per Alex & Vincent ![:-[](//storage.proboards.com/3528323/images/oRyThqJhHIhUlEyiCOKc.gif) ). Like Tess said to that teen star, "Once you see it, you can't un-see it!" Hopefully this time around, I'll see something awesome! ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/3528323/images/sXFkJVl_Ac1TygjaP6PI.gif)

Yes, asalb! I'm definitely looking for that "lovin feeling" in this episode! That magical spark that's been missing from the last 2 episodes! Cautiously hopeful we'll see it by the end of Cold Turkey!!!?!?!?

Wow could you imagine if Lindsay Lohan played Alex. I really didn't see that tweet in article as that bad though I think it is a bit uncalled for. i'm sure there are ones that are probably worse. Twitter takes the bullying off the playground and into the social networking spheres and practically begs people to pile on. I've seen some real funny stuff as well as the vile on there and i dont even use it. It's just the way it is. Doesn't make it right but I think drawing attention to what is really just inevitable about twitter really only serves to paint those who are interested in the show and who want to sound off about it whether excited or pissed with a broad brush of their enthusiasm as negative, based on a few idiots. Granted no one should attack the actor personally but not sure I would take the comments about the character I'm playing so personal. Even if she really does't that was the big take-away from the article and I would think a PR nightmare for a new show. The Beasties will now be that stink bomb that the media runs with now with esp after a PC award and will paint all the fans as fanatics. That's what will be trending next, this crap, and then people will pile on BR as a crybaby, its a vicious cycle. The Execs won't like it, advertisers won't like it, and the fans won't like it=no show. My suggestion is unless it is an actual threat, suck it up. JMO Say something or don't but the complaining will just serve to stir the pot. IMO I'd take those tweeters to task, at least a few but that just me.

I agree drawing attention was a big NO, NO! Because now people who don't know any better about this fandom are going to assume the worse of the fandom, when none of it is remotely true when it comes to the full picture of this fandom! I saw this tweet: "WTF is going on with #beautyandthebeast that Kristen Kreuk needs to tell fans to leave B alone? Fans, ya'll is some sick people. Get help" ...and it honestly made me see red, because it's exactly why things like a few negative comments should never EVER be given attention and then directed at the whole fandom, it paints the WRONG picture of a bunch of bystanders who've done nothing! I was truly confused by all this when I saw KK tweet, since I honestly can't recall once of anyone saying anything remotely negative or hateful towards the actress that plays Alex, so I assumed that something really bad went down during a span of time as recent as TODAY that there was big NEED for something to be said...For me to later then find out, after coming home and actually being able to settle down in front of a computer that NOTHING was said that would remotely deserving of the amount of attention this has created! It truly saddens me, it's too early in this fandom for stuff like this to be happening... ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/3528323/images/xxVYT4qjgvH3_Q7O1Z86.gif)

I will be the first one to say that I know what it is to feel bad about the "negative" comments given to an actress that you support and follow. I have supported Kristin for years......anyone who ever followed Smallville knows the vitriol that was bestowed on her both personally and professionally FOR YEARS on many forums! I don't know Bridget, nor did I follow any tweets, but I am curious if the Tweets were personal or about the character Alex? If they were personal, it is inexcusable. But if it is about her character then my question is this........ what did she expect the reaction would be of introducing a prospective "love interest" that would threaten the "main Couple" of the series?? I am a bit baffled, .....maybe she has received nothing but praise for her work on the "Legend of the Seeker" and that's great......but this is a completely different situation. I hope people weren't calling her names and such, as it got a bit out of hand here. But did she expect the fans of this show to really welcome her with open arms?
So, my point is,....and I may sound a bit harsh, but I come from years of seeing this happen to KK........I think BR should not have really said anything, it makes her seem unprofessional to me. I feel she was trying to garner sympathy for her character, and if the intent of the writers is to show Alex in this light.........(a sympathetic, heartbroken ex-fiance),....then let this play out in the storyline. I would rather wait and watch how they fully tell this story and let me make up MY MIND on her character. SuzieQ WORD! Exactly my thoughts and you've stated them so eloquently as you always do. These so called negative comments are nothing compared to what Kristin Kreuk had to unfairly deal w/ for YEARS and she didn't have the BATB fandom now going out of their way falling over eachother trying to apologize when it wasn't even them. That twitter comment from TVGuide that was used was seriously not that bad! LoL! And that was used as a example! Smallville fandom was exponentially worse than BATB! There was punches from Chloe/Lois lovers, Lexana haters, etc. BATB is just one ship. Bridget is totally blowing this out of proportion and I did find it unprofessional too. Not every character is likable and colored w/pink roses! She's now made this thing even bigger than it really was by mentioning it. Kristin Kreuk really shines w/class to go out of her way to tweet that message. Kristin really shows how strong she is by handling it for YEARS on her own and not making such a drama out of it.
