When I first saw the episode I didn't understand why make Gabe in love with Cat, Gabe would have been a better character whether he was good or bad if he hadn't fallen in love with her. They would have saved us a bad love triangle and we would've gain a better villain.

I so agree; the Gabe/Catherine relationship was such a let down....it is painful to relive it!

HAVE to say this! One of the reasons that I love this show so much is that I often get something new from each episode every time that I watch it. In a previous re-watch, I was mad at Cat for shutting the window on Vincent at the end. Even discussed it in one of my posts in the Everything Thread (really, really do love that thread, by the way). HOWEVER, this time around, I see that Cat really had no other option. Cat is NOT shutting the window on Vincent in anger. She is just shutting the window because they are still at the same point as they were when Vincent was found even though he now knows that he knows her. He STILL can't trust her enough to tell her about his missions. And part of that is because he wishes to protect her. In both this episode and episode 202, Cat's presence during his mission nearly causes her death by a vicious beast. The Bad Beasts easily pick up on Vincent's strongest ties being to Catherine. So she IS at risk, time and time again, throughout the Bad Beasts arc. So Vincent is right in wanting to protect her. But it is CAT's decision and her case as well. And Vincent still can't trust Cat enough to just let her in. So the lies by omission would have to keep occurring. And that is no type of relationship. So that are at an impasse. So it is literally like the window is between them, no matter what. So I'm not mad at either one. Just so sorry for them both, because Cat clearly wants to find a way to keep Vincent in her life but can't under the current circumstances. Tragic. Because Vincent IS motivated for his missions in order to try to save people from insane killers. And that includes Cat. Especially Cat. So the relationship is truly star-crossed at this point.

As much as it hurt to see Catherine close that window on him and her walk away was something I think Catherine HAD to do! I thought to myself WOW she finally got cojones and did what she had to and get tough with him. He learned the hard way. But as we know that was short lived and I think that she gave him ALOT of chances which he didn't fully take to heart. Makes him wonder if being soldier is more important than Catherine. He is totally confused at this point as to what he truly wants. Soldier or a relationship with a woman he now knows is telling the truth about their former relationship. Feel sorry anyway for him I agree he could've taken things more to heart, and sometimes handled things better in regards to them, but I think he was still confused. He still had no memories of Cat and Cat kept pushing him. Instead of taking a few minutes to really evaluate whats happened to V and what hes lost w/ his memory loss and put herself in his position, she shoves him out of her life. I wish she wouldve just taken some time, real time w/o any pretentions or agendas and without thinking about getting her V back and really talked to V and been there for him

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS EPISODE: 1. The dance 2. Vincent in the suit 3. The fact Vincent remembered her (flashbacks) 4. The end scene (although painful..beautifully acted and played out) What I didn't like: ALL THE LIES!! LOL The fact they both were playing with each other and NOT the WAY LOL The Beast of the week was a bit LAME LOL

I get what you are saying and I see that, but I just wish that Cat would've taken the time to comfort him and talk to him. And it doesn't change much, but maybe it could've been a starting point for V & C in moving forward and maybe V could've started to open up and it could've led to V being able to trust Cat more. I didn't expect him ever to just spill his guts completely, but it could've been a great start.

Everything is still very raw; there is too much hurt to begin to process the situation in its entirety with all its complexities. In the next episode she will bein a place where she can evaluate all these things; so there is a natural progression, and by the end of that episode they have reconnected.

I just find it funny that she was pressing V so much to remember and not really trying hard enough IMO to get to know the "new" V and being upset that its not progressing how she wants it to and then she just shuts the window. Maybe its just that she was so cold towards him in that scene and she had no empathy or compassion for him, its just rubbed me the wrong way. I felt bad for him

I do hate how Catherine chooses to share with Gabe and tries to keep Tess out of the loop as far as what Vincent has done.....wHY? i think cause she knows tess will judge vincent and she cares more that tess likes vincent. plus gabe is pretending to be all nice and stuff .... whatevs, speak to the hand lol

Yes, agree with whomever mentioned Brooke, they'd just wrote her out in a way that was not understandable....she should have been in the first episode of the season at that evening event honouring her dead husband. new target viewers would not know about brooke remember? lol totally agree we needed a very small scene with her on the event thingie in episode 1
