They will not put izombie or Messengers on a Friday. They would never start new shows on that date, since that has been where CW shows often get sent to die. So either Reign gets moved to Fridays, or the CW actually decides to air BATB on Fridays. Given our loyal fanbase, the CW would figure that BATB fans would follow the show anywhere and anytime. Still, that is what bothers me is that the 2 above shows will have scheduling priority as they are new shows. If BATB is going to air by March, there will have to be some kind of announcement by January, I would think. I am glad that they are doing the novels. Everything counts towards profitability. "Nashville" is still on the air due in large part to the amount of money made on the music released from the series. While novels aren't anything like music, it still shows a fanbase and the potential profitability of the show. Same with the PCA's. Every bit of exposure increases the potential for increased curiosity about the show. I know that I myself have actually chosen to see shows that have that really loyal fan following because fans are usually that loyal for a reason --the show is novel or has some fantasy or supernatural or romantic reason that fans can't stay away from it once they see it. BATB has previously been profitable overseas. Problem is, many fans from other countries have actually complained about not knowing when Season 2 was going to air in their country, and ratings seemed to be down. So we really need Season 3 to air sooner rather than later. If American ratings hold steady (or if we are blessed, even increase), then there will be an assumption that overseas ratings most likely would do equally well since there are definitely more BATB viewers outside the US than within its borders.Frankly, I'm just glad for anything BATB-related at this point. I do think that if the projected release date for the Season 2 DVD is in March, then BATB would be expected to come back on air at that time. Notice that for many shows, the DVD is timed to be released at or near the new season debute. That way, they can air commercials for the DVD release during the season premiere. They really need to air BATB in March or April at least in order to consider the ratings before determining possible renewal. After all, with so much time off the air, they have to see that the viewership is still there. This ...

Thanks alwayscrazedbatbfan for always spread the love and positivity that is why i always love to read your posts i totally agree everything is count at this stage , Yolie said first when they start the voting for nominate PCA that this year the winning is very important and i trusted Yolie whom i knew for sure she loves the show and wants it to continue over others whom i know also for sure how they hate the show and want it to end so bad that you would think they would start a campaign to cancel it ! you know even if PCA , the novels and all of that won't help the renewal at least it would show our support to the show and its stars , those people give us a lot of precious moments /memories over the past two years and still do their best to give us more and more in the third year , so they deserve every thanks we can say to them in every way , they deserve to know that their hard work is really appreciated from us , to know that even if their fanbase is small but its very vocal , loyal and devoted ! ah i almost forgot ! a little tip about the negative news concerned the show you may read : don't believe everything you read ? because sometime the source of those news aren't dependent sources but simply its source is some people's wishes !

Rayna the words didn't come from me...the cast has said themselves that PCA wins were one of a few factors for the shows renewal. I believe this still. Think about it....if the show wins another PCA without even airing season 3 yet what does that say to TPTB? IMO lots..that would be dedication and that I have for this show whether the plots were not so great...the beast got top billing (to some in the storyline) or cause of the love triangles. .I've stuck with it and will continue to support the show any which way possible. I've done about 90,000 votes this year so far but I'm hoping on making it 150000 to 200000 by the end of voting. Never give up is my motto in life and with obsessions and things I love

This scheduling plan actually makes a lot of sense. By putting "Dixie" on Monday alongside "Jane," you have two shows that both have seasons centering around a pregnant female and how she deals with this factor. When you think about it, it does seem to be a natural combination. In both the shows, the females will have to rearrange their worlds and decide who is going to be sharing this experience with them. And BATB can fit into that category in that we have a couple moving towards marriage and maybe children and deciding how they want to move forward in life together.
And this is a SERIOUS plus for BATB, in my opinion. Obviously, the CW meant what it said in that it has not made a decision yet about "Dixie." They want to see if they can get some of Jane's fans to watch Dixie and vice versa. Means they are giving "Dixie" a real shot. And quite frankly, since they plan to move the rest of "Dixie" to Fridays come January, they could potentially give BATB the slot on Monday paired with Jane OR give BATB the Friday slot once "Dixie" finishes. After all, we are a relationship-centered program as well. The main leads for our show are moving towards marriage and getting their lives squared away, thinking of families, etc. same as these other two shows may. So I see this as a potential plus for us, depending how it goes.
